Gold-Trimmed Unis Are Out For 2014 RRSO

So you may remember last year OU (and Texas) dipping their toe ever so slightly into the alternate uniform waters with the gold-trimmed uniforms the Sooners and Horns wore for the annual showdown in Dallas. At the time, both schools came to a two year agreement with Nike to wear the jerseys. However whereas last year there was a bunch of hype surrounding the announcement, this year things have been oddly silent.

Bob Stoops was asked about them on Monday at his weekly press conference and said he “didn’t know” if they’d be wearing them on Saturday and “didn’t really care.”

Now, however, it would appear we finally have an answer as to what we can expect to see OU come out of the tunnel wearing (you know…if it was something you were really fretting about, which I suspect you were not).

Expect OU, as the home team, to come out in their traditional red crimson jerseys. And much like all, or at least most, of you I’m sure, I couldn’t care less what they’re wearing so long as OU finishes ahead on the scoreboard when it reads 0:00.
