– More Coaching Changes: Okay…. breathe…..yes, it’s a bad thing Jerry Montgomery left the program after being at OU for only two seasons. There is, however, some good. The Sooners do still have able recruiters on staff. New DBs coach Kerry Cooks has a strong reputation as a recruiter. Cale Gundy has a track record as strong as anyone. Dennis Simmons and Lincoln Riley are also good recruiters. All of these guys are young and energetic, something one might argue has been lacking with the Sooners coaching staff in recent years.
In terms of possible replacements for Montgomery, we certainly plan to address potential candidates at some point in the near future. We will not, however, just start throwing names out there for no good reason. We didn’t do it for the previous searches for a reason, and we don’t plan on that changing for this search either. When/if we can bring you something tangible, we will certainly do so. But to just start throwing out names because “we” think they make sense, or because so-and-so followed someone else on Twitter just seems somewhat irresponsible.
Bob Stoops made the comment in the statement he released yesterday of already having started the search to replace Montgomery, but based on some of what we’ve heard it’s just that…a start. Now that’s not to say he may already have a name or two in mind as to who he’d like to target, but as we understand it things are still very early in the process of finding a replacement.
– Arlington Lamar: The Dallas-Forth Worth area high school program is loaded this year with numerous D1 caliber talent, which includes OU offer and 2016 QB Shane Buechele. But it also includes recent OU Junior Day invitee and 2016 WR Kofi Boateng.
In speaking with him, Boateng wasn’t actually all that interested in the Sooners initially. That changed, however, when Lincoln Riley was hired and the scheme (presumably) switched back to a pass-happy Air Raid type of offense. Boateng also shared with TFB that Buechele considering OU has made quite the difference for him as well.
However when I (Brandon) spoke with Boateng on Monday, he had not yet spoken with new OU outside wide receivers coach Dennis Simmons. But I think it’s safe to assume if that hasn’t already changed, it will do so pretty soon. Kofi has, however, been in contact with Cale Gundy and Lincoln Riley quite a bit. He said his relationship with those two has developed pretty quickly over the last couple of weeks. And he is hoping to continue that this weekend in Norman at the OU Junior Day.
– Jared Mayden: Back in late January, 2016 Sachse CB Jared Mayden announced a Top 3 (in no order) via Twitter that included: Ohio State, Oregon & TCU. Even before that, however, in November, the talented corner had a Top 5 which somewhat surprisingly also did not include Oklahoma. We say surprisingly because if you weren’t aware, Mayden is an OU legacy. Thus many assumed that the Sooners would seemingly be a strong contender for his services.
But with Mayden’s lead recruiter, Josh Heupel, no longer on the OU staff and with the retirement of Bobby Jack Wright, some have speculated whether or not the Sooners could get back in with the talented Texas corner.
Well based on the conversation our guy Alex had with Mayden last night, it sounds like he is still willing to listen should OU decide to step up their pursuit. In fact, the recently added Kerry Cooks was recruiting Mayden to Notre Dame. So OU’s new defensive backs coach is definitely familar with Mayden. And we can confirm that since Cooks’ hiring, the two have talked multiple times.
When we asked Mayden what could help OU get back into consideration, he stated “just getting to know the coaches.” And what could be better in that regard than getting some face time with the staff at an upcoming OU Junior Day?
Well, we can tell you that Mayden has been working to set up plans to try and get to Norman this weekend. But at this point those plans have not been finalized. Either way, thought, it seems as if Oklahoma isn’t quite out of this race as some may have thought.
– Mark Jackson: With the news of Montgomery heading to the NFL, OU fans will be very eager to see what kind of impact it has on Oklahoma’s recruiting what with one of their best closers no longer on staff. To that point, Alex was able to catch up with one 2016 pass rusher the now former OU staffer was handling the recruitment of in Cibolo Steele OLB/DE, Mark Jackson.
For those that don’t know or remember, OU was actually Jackson’s first offer which is definitely something he remembers. At the time, Bobby Jack Wright was handling his recruitment but then passed him off to Montgomery.
Jackson — who also holds offers from Baylor, Missouri, Oklahoma State & Texas — actually had not heard the news about Montgomery when we spoke with him. But the good news here for OU fans is Montgomery’s departure does not appear as though it will have that big of an impact on his feeling towards the Sooners. Reason being is that while the two had talked and were starting to build a relationship, it had not yet got to that point where this news was devastating for him. Or at least that is what he expressed to us when we spoke.
One of the main things Jackson likes about OU is their 3-4 defensive scheme, and the chance he would likely have to play the OLB position in that style of defense. He told us that as long as the next guy comes in and looks at him for the same ‘Jack’ LB position, then his interest in OU won’t waiver.
– Tope Imade: Another recent Junior Day invitee, Tope Imade, is a name that caught the attention of the one and only JY. Imade goes about 6’6″ 305 and has put his hand in the dirt at both the guard and tackle spots for Arlington’s Bowie High. JY had a chance to speak with Imade earlier this week and while he doesn’t have an OU offer in-hand just yet, he is hopeful that changes this weekend.
JY is a big fan of Imade’s and has been for some time now. While he may have somewhat of a lean from for a kid his size, he’s a guy that looks like he is still growing. So there is really no telling where exactly he could end up at. He’s most likely a guard at the next level, which is actually where he and Bill Bedenbaugh have discussed him playing.
Imade is somewhat open right now with regards to his recruiting, but it’s worth nothing that he is good friends with current Sooner commit and highly regarded 2016 OT, Jean Delance. So that is something that could potentially play into OU’s favor.
– UPDATE (11:59 am): I’m not sure I can say this is surprising necessarily, but I do believe it will be a good thing for everyone expected to participate.
Dorial Green-Beckham will participate in Oklahoma's pro day workout Wed. March 11th. DGB is working out in Arizona in prep for NFL combine.

– UPDATE (12:00 pm): Sooners have offered 2016 CB Byron Murphy (Scottsdale, AZ)
– UPDATE (12:02 pm): Sooners have also offered 2016 safety Deontay Anderson (Manvel, TX)
– UPDATE (12:05 pm): Also from last night, OU reportedly made two 2016 WR offers to Theo Howard (Westlake Village, CA) and Jackie Jones (Long Beach, CA).
– UPDATE (12:48 pm): I don’t know if it’s the lack of a single comment (other than my own) that has me concerned, or if you all really just aren’t aware of the visitor list for this weekend’s OU Junior Day that Alex and Brandon have been working so hard on.
– UPDATE (2:53 pm): Brandon has confirmed the note from above and Jared Mayden will be in Norman this weekend.
– UPDATE (3:36 pm): 2016 DT & Baylor commit, Jordan Elliott (Houston, TX), claiming an OU offer.
– UPDATE (4:08 pm): Demetric Warren reporting OU has offered 2016 DE Damion Dickens (Lexington, MS).

Boateng is ranked as the 79th best receiver in the country and does not have any big time offers. Are Simmons and Riley gonna keep pursuing these kinds of guys because that is what they are used to doing at their previous schools? Surely they know they can go after the 5 star wideouts out there at a school like OU.
None of OU’s receiver signees were ranked above 49 nationally…OU is not going to be able to entice the ‘top 20 ‘ guys till the offense opens up next season and HS receivers begin to envision themselves in Riley’s offense……..by 2017, and if riley is still around, OU should be able to pilfer some of the ‘elite’ receivers once again.
That’s true about HS guys, but Westbrook was the #9 overall player in JUCO last year.
Not necessarily about stars but how they fit into a system but I agree, attack the big time players.
Ratings at this point are to me somewhat of less importance until maybe near the end of Sept on high school players. Many of these kids have been ranked, and there will be LOTS of others who will only be playing their 2nd season of being a starter if they go to a large school where the competition is stout. You’ll see the star ratings change a bunch in the next 6 months.
I will take a coaches judgement/accessment about a players skill set, abilities and rankings over ANY AND ALL high school player ranking “experts”
Agree. Coaches know better how certain skill sets fit into their scheme.
Yes. But when a kid does not have offers from other schools of OU’s cailber i.e OSU, Bama, USC, FSU, etc…one begins to wonder.
But once OU offers…just watch their offers tick upward by schools of the same caliber…
Yeah, Baylor and TCU have done pretty well with that route the last few years.
-heard of a couple teams in a big game the other day that had no five stars at all – one teams players’ average high school rating was 2.75 stars or so you probably saw it , it was the Super Bowl 🙂
Yeah that’s really worked out well with the receivers we’ve recruited lately right? Also, why doesn’t this guy have major offers from schools like OU? Those coaching staffs are better “experts” than these ranking “experts”. If you have a chance at an Amari Cooper type player you go all out to sign him.
Why don’t you go to Rivals and go back about 10 years in the past at recruiting classes. Go see who was top star ranked and look at some of the 3 and 4 stars. I promise you, you will recognize more 3 stars as successful than 5 stars
BTW, OU could have 10 Coopers and nothing would have come up with them because of QB play and inconsistent play calling
Amari Cooper was special… I saw him play sophomore and knew he would be a beast of the bat. But these guys usually have 30+ offers so chances to land em’ is slim. Same can be said of the Treadwells, Dez Bryants, AJ Green, DGB..etc.
But there are people who are just good at spotting talent whether it is 2 stars of none. Holgo is one of these people. Everywhere he has been, he has grabbed guys that no one knew about and made em’ AA. Wes Welker (@TTU) Bailey and Kevin White (WVU), Justin Blackmon (OSU) Most of these cats were 3 stars. I am not saying that we’ll have the same output, but they are outputs of the airraid that were not that highly ranked. At least give the new guys a chance before writing off their body of work. Different Offensive coaches
The air raid doesn’t need top wrs to be successful…I can’t think of a top guy that has played for Leach or Riley off the top of my head…an I mean top ranked in hs…I’ll gladly take em but I won’t worry over it…we’ll get some top guys here imo regardless…just let the games begin
True. Leach had that munchken Welker right? They scored, just couldn’t stop us.
No disrespect to you, because I know you are referring to the perceived lack of 5 star offers… I get that, but Justin Hardy, dude that just broke RB85’s reception record @ ECU was a walk-on. Watch that dude play and you will be scratching your head.

Not seeing any updates and when I go to the home screen the open post for today doesn’t show up.
What he said
That’s odd. It shows up for me just fine. But we’re still continuing to have some site issues which, quite frankly, is driving me f’ing insane. Apologies. Try refreshing and/or clearing your cache/deleting your cookies. If that doesn’t work let me know and I’ll keep telling our hosting ppl that things are still screwed up.
Tried on my phone and computer. Only way I can get to the open post is through your link on twitter.
Ditto
Again, I’m sorry. I don’t know what to tell you as it’s showing up just fine for me. But I have definitely passed on this issue to the appropriate ppl.
No biggie. I’ll check later on.
Thanks Jordan. Are you ready for a vacation? You sure sound like it.
All is good in the world for Open Posts!
I know a guy that builds/maintains websites. (-;
After the last week we may need him. I’m so tired of dealing w/ this b.s.
I can DM you the info on twitter if you need it.
Not seeing it either.
Jordan, the site is broken. Maybe too much negativity!

re: the site issues – I have been told that the loading issues should now be resolved.
YOU NEED TO CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE & DELETE YOUR COOKIES.
There was a change to the site’s URL address (technical side of things, not the actual name of the site or anything) and unless it’s your first time here, your computer (or however you’re accessing the site) will almost assuredly have the old URL/cache which s/b what is causing most of the problems for people.
You might also try holding down the shift key and hitting refresh, as our IT guy is telling me that will sometimes all you to pull from the actual server rather than the cached copy.
That didn’t work on an IPhone/IPad. I’ll wait and check back later.
Did not work on my phone or computer either.
As an IT professional, I’ll figure this out.
I’m not sure what you did but you rock!
+1000
All I did was change the https://, I think it was just good timing. (-:
Sure….you took a stroll over to CastorBoy’s house didn’t you? 😉 I remember him saying he was great with computers or something, maybe he is getting his revenge? I am pretty ignorant on this kind of stuff so not sure it is even possible.
It is possible. CastorBoy did not seem smart enough to do that though.
Touche
I mean, I can’t confirm or deny what happene. Although, I will say he isn’t an issue anymore.
I don’t know what “IT” is…buy you’ve got it!!!
Follow the site everyday. I don’t post much, but enjoy the great information and comments. No issues with the site on my MS Surface 2. Everything loads quickly.
Good to hear. It seems to be hit and miss for some people and not across the entire network for whatever reasons. It is, however, incredibly frustrating nevertheless.
It’s finally back to normal for me… Thanks guys!
thank goodness!
The struggle is real…
haha, no doubt. #FirstWorldProblems
Something humorous about posting instructions on the site on how to actually see the site….
I understand that posting it somewhere else would not help either, but still kind of humorous.
Anyway glad that it is back up.
fair point but it seemed like some were having issues but still able to eventually get here
Oh, I get that. Not much you could do other than post it on the front page and I get why you may not want to do that. Did not mean to criticize, just got a chuckle out of it. Worked at a place once that would send out an email to tell you the email system was down.
Jordan, I have never experienced the problems that some have expressed but I just noticed that I don’t see some of the early morning comments in the news thread and also the comments that were in the Jr. day OP thread prior to today are gone.
Yeah, kinda like Braille on a drive up ATM machine. ha
Something that stupid has to be the result of a government requirement.
Like a 1% tax on something some people didn’t buy?
It should never be said that you don’t have a refined sense of humor.
Got a chuckle out of your observation.
can you decipher this for those not very savvy at working the google on the internet machine please
edit: i see your conversation going on below. haha. sorry to add to your headache
From Windows: Tools tab at top, select privacy then clear history & cookies. It will either be boxes or hyperlinks. Sorry can’t help if you’re on phone or tablet.

It’s a great list of attendees. A lot of North TX kids. Maybe it is due to the longer distance, but would like to see more Houston area kids there. Talent is deep here.
I found it interesting so many SouthLake kids are attending. I could also say it’s about time, that program has turned out many good players and too often they went to Texsa.
The sites back up and working. Not sure what happened but that’s the world of 1s and 0s.
whew!!!
Finally back
thank goodness!
Hundreds of comments spun off into the ether. I bet that’s where your list comments went.
I know Jordan did an excellent piece if you want to search for it on TFB. However, this is just crazy what happened in 2011. These guys would be our RS Srs for the upcoming year.
(DL 1 left, 1 to NFL) (OL 2 left) (WR 0) (LB 2 left) (DB 0) (TE 0) (QB 0) (RB 0) (ATH 0)
DL Marquis Anderson Nathan Hughes Jordan Phillips Jordan Wade
OL Dylan Dismuke Derek Farniok Nila Kasitati
WR Kameel Jackson Trey Metoyer
LB P.L. Lindley Franklin Shannon
DB Bennett Okotcha
TE Max Stevenson DanTapko
QB Kendal Thompson
RB Brandon Williams
ATH Danzel Williams
wow…..that’s a bit depressing, on the other hand it has opened up some scholorships
The 13′ class kind of seems likes it’s heading down a similar path.
That 2011 signing class only had 16 players, and only 1 of them was a DB (Okotcha), who lasted one season. That’s why I say that Martinez left the cupboard bare for Mike.
Shannon and Lindley were the only LBers in the class.
The 2012 class had 25 players, but only 1 LBer (Striker). JUCO Kass Everett was Martinez’s only DB. Mike got Sanchez and Gary Simon at the end after he arrived.
This is why OU has been hurting on D the last year: lack of talent and depth at LBer and DB. OU has two inside LBers who started but one was projected as a OLBer (Evans) and the other a S (Dom)
Things are better now; the sky is not falling.
Great breakdown. Sad part is that those guys would have been capitalizing this year as seniors. That’s why part sympathizes with the coaches. 60% of the class, 4 and 5 stars never panned out, left or got into trouble by year#2
Great add. I sure hope OU intends to follow up the effort in Texas with satellite camps this year in DFW & HOU areas.
IMO good call on TFB not throwing out names for the new DL coach. Leave the speculation to us users so there is no confusion when you guys do get something with some substance. So….hearing anything yet? ; > )
Yeah, like that crap Rivals is peddling. Like they know squat. More like Soonerpoop instead of Soonerscoop.
Not trying to stir the pot, but didn’t TFB throw out some names that were speculation, or nothing more than “good fits”? Wasn’t there an entire article written about Jim Leavitt? lol
Nothing wrong with speculation if it is presented as just that, speculation.
Yes, but that was when there were no vacant positions.
Sage advice.
Gilmour is among the best. Comfortably Numb may still be the best guitar solo.
I agree.
His work on “Shine On” is a haunting sound.
Yes. I forgot about that.
My jaw dropped when watching Deontay Anderson’s highlights. He is dynamite and his offer list is very impressive
Hard to believe it’s taken this long to offer. Not sure what the hold up was.
I don’t know about anyone else, but that visitor list article doesn’t show up on the TFB homepage.
I see it.
It’s on TOP.
I put it there so it didn’t continue to get bumped down the front page. By the weekend, it would have been behind like 15 other posts and I didn’t want anyone to lose track of it and/or not even know it was there.
Monty is gone now and OU is unraveling. OU will be horrible next year due to the Stoops brothers and Kish, Now, TFB is unraveling too. This is horrible to have a site that can’t get its act together just like OU. Unreal. Look, this is reality not being negative as you sunshine pumpers would say. This site has just dropped the ball after all this “hype” about how good they beefed up the servers to handle all of the traffic. I will NEVER believe in the hype again much less OUs hype machine.
Hmm, I hope this brought a smile to some of you.
Burn it down….down to the ground.
wasn’t sure if I should send it as i was having some fun. Hopefully Jordan will get a laugh out of it since he’s busting his tail on this IT stuff.
Because I know your style, I got it immediately.
Starting 7 on 7 in a week so we are geared up and ready to go. pumped and so are the kids. Wish you could be a part of it.
I wouldn’t be any good at 7on7.
My screaming “hit him” wouldn’t go well there.
It’s about working with 12 year old’s more than anything. Amazing how well they are developing today compared to yesteryear when i was playing. Its fast and fun, you would enjoy it.
I understand you.
I’m just an old lineman, nose guard and pulling guard were my positions, and was also a catcher that played like a nose guard and pulling guard.
I always enjoyed the slobber knocking so I could watch the fast guys running down the field.
Funny how some of you slobber knockers know how to call a good game. Seems like a lot of OC are old OLmen.
Yeah, there are many OCs that were linemen.
Of course, most linemen think you should only throw to fool’em and pound the rock the rest of the time. 🙂
Why hell yeah!!! All that money we’re paying and they can’t get their act together any better than this. Guess we’ll have to go to some free site!!!
So in the discussions about people to replace Monty I have heard a number of suggestions. I am not going to comment on an individual name but focus on the reasons various people have given for their choices:
1) A young guy who relates to the kids
2) A guy with lots of experience/big time reputation
3) A guy with 3-4 experience
4) A former Sooner
5) Played in the NFL
6) Never worked with/played for/knows anyone who knows Bob
7) A good recruiter
8) Good at developing players
If you read closely, some pretty much contradict others. A young guy with lots of experience? A former Sooner who has no ties to Bob? etc. Obviously we are highly unlikely to get someone who meets all the requirements. We will probably have to settle for someone who does not meet them all.
So what’s your priority? Realize that the order you put these in is a good part of why we disagree with each other on who the best candidate is.
Put me down for 1, 3, 7 and 8.
Almost the same Tex, 1, 7, & 8.
I’m also 1, 7, & 8.
Same as Tex…
I want a guy who knows what he is talking about. Around here sometimes that seems very very few and far between
Whatchu’ talkin’bout.
…
3, 7, 8 would’ve included 1 but I believe there are coaches in their 40s (that’s young to me) who can relate to kids.
It’s telling when we agree that a 40ish coach is young. :-0
I have 2 sons that are 42 & 40 lol
Yeah my youngest son is 19. 40 is pretty far in my rear view mirror.
My youngest grand child is 9.
Forty is a good age, depends on the individual if they are “old” or not.
I agree. But that is the description I have heard.
For what its worth. I will take 8, 7 and 3.
Was thinking about parameters rather than specific names, too. 1, 7 and 8 esp but a dose of nfl would be good. And 3-4 experience but it would be nice if he had experience in multiple fronts. Would like to see OU able to throw that at teams.
ok here goes:
1. take it or leave it
2. take it or leave it
3. would be helpful if we stay in it
4. doesn’t mean he can teach
5. doesn’t mean he can teach
6. who cares
7. check
8. check
so i would rank them 8,7..3..1,2….5…4……………………6
Just had a great (actually kind of scary if you think about it) question posed to me, so I figured I would throw it out there as well.
Name OU’s starting offensive tackles for the 2015 season opener.
Farniok and St. John?
Can’t rule out Frison and Brown.
I think this is more likely for opening day.
There are many talented and unproven on the OL.
I just want the OL to be as harmonious as the original Jefferson Airplane.
Dayum Tex, for a teetotaler, you sure have a taste for acid bands….
Nothing wrong with that, just a touch freaky.
Music from my youth.
This was before Gracie showed up and their vocal harmonies were amazing.
True, but you’ve also featured Pink Floyd and Jimi of late.
Side: as a kiddo, I had massive crushes on Grace Slick and Dolly Parton. First Dolly then Grace. Kind of mirrored the path taken by the nation at large…
I was also a big fan of James Brown, Ray Charles, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding and Beethoven.
I have always had a deep appreciation of music.
music’s good…if you like it 🙂
Yessir, I will give any form a good listen.
There is much that I don’t like, too.
yeah buddy. i love country and rock but man hearing all the folks who recorded right down the street from me at both sun studio and stax is awesome
Those boys down the street were amazing. American icons, they were.
haha. very spoiled with music history of memphis and my love for sooner sports
Proud of the musical heritage of my home town, too. It has been officially declared the birthplace of Boogie Woogie. No Jerry Lee or Little Richard without the pioneering work from my old stomping grounds.
Also, Leadbelly is from just down the road from where I grew up.
You ever see the movie “Legend of 1900?”
I highly recommend it.
no i’ve never heard of it. i’ll have to check it out
The following scene doesn’t give away the story at all, but is my favorite scene.
http://youtu.be/ETZJo4TcbQk
You sure don’t do either one half way…
Thanks brother
LAWL
Tex, you know when I was growing up my dad listened to KOMA and I would be in the car listening to all of the songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s and I truly love listening to that music. That was a very good time for music. My wife always ask me why do I listen to it and I always say because of the rhythm and sound of it all.
Those were some good times for musical innovation. There is still some good music today, but not in abundance like back then.
Never forget listening to a radio station out of NOLA on lazy summer nights and they would play the long version of The Doors “When The Music Is Over.” It felt good to be alive, young and healthy.
There’s TONS of good music out there today. They just don’t play it on the radio…Not hard to find though.
Throwing Static-X out there is the one that floored me. Not many here ever heard of ’em.
I threw in some Metallica a little earlier on the other thread. 🙂
But the StaticX song “Pushit” was a perfect fit for that thread as we approached the end of recruiting.
http://i.imgur.com/n9E42.gif
LOL!
Where is the harmony?
I don’t even know what’s going on in this clip but still LMAO.
I think the former pair will start the first game, but the latter pair will start before the season is over; they will be the next great OTs at OU. BB is assembling an awesome stable of OL.
Frison & St John.
this would be my bet right now if you made me choose. not saying it’s who I’d want or that I’d be excited about it, but as things stand today I think it’d be the smartest bet. long ways to go tho
I understand you taking pause with this but if they are as good as they were supposed to be when recruited then put them on the field. The earlier the better. Growing pains can sometimes be very miniscule and elite talent can play through a few missteps.
That i what I think as well. I think perhaps a couple of games into the season that could change and Frison or Daimler found thier way in there.
How about guards?
Danley and Kasitati..
Yeah, that the interior guys seem like a pretty easy one to call, IMO.
I look for Alvarez and Paul to get some PT at guard.
Frison LT & Farniok RT
T: Brown & Frison
G: Alvarez & Kasitati
Two redshirt freshman starting tackles? Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaat could make things very interesting in a pass-first offense.
D Williams and T Thompson did.
Not true. Both started as RS sophomores (Williams 12, Thompson 5), but both were backups in their 2011 RS freshman years
Good catch, thought they were RS freshmen. should’ve looked it up as i thought they started some of the games.
no worries
Yes it could but….
Is it possible that brown and frison are the 2 most talented tackles on campus? I haven’t seen enough of the others to say the RS freshmen couldn’t take the starting spots.
I think that’s more than possible, yes. But obviously that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be the starters.
Maybe. Quick passing game would help though.
I think if we go with a quick tempo, short passing offense, it would be best for a young OL. The longer they have to block and the more holes they have to open for RB’s the more trouble we’ll get into.
Danley and Nila will start at OG.
LT: St John; Frison
LG: Danley; Dalton
OC: Darlington; Alvarez
RG: Kasitati; Paul
RT: Farniok; Brown
Dalton the center? Do you mean Daimler the OT? Alvarez was moved to OG but I think would step in if Darlington went down.
Dalton and Alvarez only played in one game last year (Tulsa) late. Dalton was at LG for Shead and Alvarez was at OC, third after Darlington and Kasitati.
Not that they couldn’t switch them, but that’s how they lined up last year.
I’m gonna say farniok and frison.
I am going to say that there will be a few changes throughout the year at tackle. Hopefully this line can gel fast. Or Linc will be calling alot of quick passes.
Frison & Farniok
Will the first play of the 2015 season be a pass or a run?;
run….to set up the pass…lol
So like a reverse pass? Like the one Bester threw against Kansas in 2013?
yes but do you pass to set up that run to set up the pass?
yes…lol
As long as it’s not a time-out, I don’t care.
Oh, too soon! (-:
zing!
Frison and St. John.
I suppose anything is possible at this point, but I believe OU has both of them at left tackle.
You think Alex Dalton sneaks in there?
At tackle?
This sounds like an opportunity for JY to dust off the ol’ keyboard and give us some insight as to what his thoughts are on this topic…
I believe Dalton’s future is at guard or center. I don’t believe he’s a candidate at tackle.
Dalton played in one game last year and it was at OG. Same for Alvarez at OC.
St John, Frison, Daimler, and Evans are LTs;
Farniok, Brown, and Samia are RTs.Paul is a RT or OG; I think he plays guard as the numbers are smaller there.
St. John & Frison
Frison and Orlando Brown Jr
Jack Jones out of LB Poly is an interesting offer. I came across his film a year ago and he looked pretty good for a Jr. Amazing change of direction skills. He’s a little undersized but it’s good to see OU reaching out to SoCal prospects early.
update added
I refreshed, but do not see an update at the bottom.
At 2:53 pm?
last update I see is 12:48 pm, and I just logged on..
man, f this stuff. it’s there for me, but this is obviously in line w/ all the other crap going on w/ the site. sorry.
frustrating I bet.
Wait, is it there was a mix up and Monty is really staying?
lol, i wish
It’s the ghost of castor troy boy/blood red!
shows the last update as 12:48
2:53 update is there on my screen.
Still having discrepancies between the number of posts the front page says ought to be there and the number I see. Also when I open some previous posts, like the one announcing Cook and Simmons, all the comments are gone and it says “0 comments.” The one about Jerry Montgomery loads all the comments just fine. This one loads 127 comments, but the front pages says only 17.
bizarre
Same for me.
Just, fyi, I cleared my cache and eliminated the cookies, and the site is not loading properly. (See my recent previous post for a description) It is clearly not browser related, but is something on the site server or the network. Will check back later, but just in case the disqus IT guys think it’s fixed…it’s not. Not giving grief in any manner, just reporting in.:-) Hang in there….
similar here
Okay, well the 2:53 update that no one can apparently see is that Jared Mayden will in fact be in Norman this weekend.
Great work.
thank you. for the first time, mine is now acting up so sry for the bad news.
BTW – glad Jared is coming in.
Don’t worry Jordan, the message is in stealth mode, if it doesn’t want to be seen it won’t show up. Are you sure you hit post!!!!! Just askin’. LOL!!!!
YOU NEED TO CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE & DELETE YOUR COOKIES
can anybody translate this into dumbass for me please
this is a serious request. i don’t know the computers very well. i would love to know what this means. pretty pretty please with some sort of something on top
what browser
this is in jordan’s explanation of how to get the site to work. to clear the browser cache and delete cookies. i don’t know what that means. i musta slept thru that class. but i do love me some cookies
What browser are you using? Chrome, FF, IE (please not that one)
yes. one i can answer. chrome
click 3 red bars on right side, which takes you to Settings
Scroll to bottom, click Show advanced settings.
Keep scrolling down to button that says “Clear browsing data”
Select Cookes and Cached Images and Files, then hit pulldown at top and select “Obliterate for all time”. Finally click button “Clear Browsing Data” and you should be good to go.
thanks. its not doing jack squat but thanks for the info
I wouldn’t worry about it overly much at this point. I did all that and it made no difference. I think once they actually get it fixed, it will be automatic on your end. You might as well wait till that happens and then see if you need to get under the hood…
yeah i tried what exiled said and you’re right it didn’t work. oh well. them’s the breaks
Hope DGB does well in the league. Kid decided to don the Crimson and Cream and helped with our scout team in his own way and in my opinion is a Sooner.
Jordan, I don’t believe the 2:53 update is really there. I am pretty sure I am not looking at a cached copy.
It’s there, I’m looking right at it. I don’t know what it’s showing up for some and not for others. I have a call into the ppl who should know and it’s about the 275th time I’ve spoken w/ them about something like this in the last week. Good times.
Wasn’t trying to give you grief; I appreciate all you do! Just wanted to pass on that from my experience this isn’t a cached data problem, and very likely not a cookie issue.
Didn’t take it that way at all. Just thoroughly frustrated w/ the whole situation.
Just delete the file named “root” in the directory. That’s what’s causing the problems.
Jordan, I’m no expert but know enough not to delete directory files without first knowing what they are. Root, I believe, is the main directory for your site. Could be wrong though.
Yeah I cant see it either
Computers got me like…
Even though we can’t see the update we appreciate the work you guys do Jordan. And it’s great that the posters are still talking about football here. Other boards are dead
update added (but I’m sure you won’t be able to see it……………….sigh)
Nope, not there and I just booted my pc back on.
Last update I’m seeing is 12:48
– UPDATE (2:53 pm): Brandon has confirmed the note from above and Jared Mayden will be in Norman this weekend.
– UPDATE (3:36 pm): 2016 DT & Baylor commit, Jordan Elliott (Houston, TX), claiming an OU offer.
Are you guys on a shared or dedicated server?
I believe it is a shared, but not 100% sure on that
I’d first look into the mySQL database to see if that is the issue. WP platforms are good but fickle. I know a couple of guys who are excellent at trouble shooting WP that would do it for cheap. Let me know if interested.
Are you using a WordPress template?
If so, maybe a mySQL database problem.
Yes, it is WordPress
Probably want to ask your hosting provider to reboot the webserver as soon as possible. That might get the server’s mySQL service to reset and start working correctly.
Although it’s missing posts and data and updates, and sometimes the header, what does load, loads lightning fast.
Reminds me of the old story about the pilot who speaks to the passengers of the overseas flight: “Ladies and gentlemen, I have good news and bad news: the bad news: Our navigational equipment has all gone down. I am sorry to report that we are totally lost, no idea where we are and can’t even tell what direction we’re going. The good news is: We’re making very good time! ” 🙂

He’s German so the only packers he knows are at the sausage factory.

Here is the video of the kid in the gif.
Thought everyone had seen this little cow patty.

wow. i got through a buck and a half. this kid needs to meet mike tyson in his prime. what would be awesome is if it turned to show his computer and he hadn’t plugged it in or something
Kid is deranged.
Turrets?
Maybe, or maybe just a spoiled brat.
I won’t post a link on here because the vids aren’t exactly my idea of an acceptable post…but the “Tourettes Guy” vids on YouTube are something to behold…
He is a few sandwhiches shy of picnic….that one is.
I felt like that when I hear Monty quit us for GB and I could not access this site last night.
Only felt that way once and it was a matter of life and death.
Boy needs to be castrated and exiled to Peru.
What the hell did Peru ever do to him?
Just a random third world country that popped in my head.
Neutered and sent to Syria with a ham sandwich in one hand and a crucifix in the other.
I know funny…and that is friggin hilarious! I have beer coming out my nose!
Bwaaaahahahahahahaha
Hitler possessed this retard.
Perhaps we were a bit hasty in rejecting eugenics
HAHAHA!!!!!
i had forgotten ,, hopefully he is still in therapy
Video games used to relax me. I hope this is not his version of relaxed. However, if he’s using dial-up, I completely understand his anger.
Last time I saw someone act like that, it was at a Bingo room in Vegas.
LOL!
Playing with their rent money, were they?
Probably, we were just walking by and saw this guy go berserk after someone yelled bingo. lol
How do you make a 70 year old woman say the F-word? Have another 70 year old woman scream “BINGO!”
https://twitter.com/GabeIkard/status/565631761519247360
sad to hear about tark. his teams were always fun to watch. loved watching them and maramount score a bazillion points. and nothing more touching than that hank gathers/bo kimble story
Lots of people were hating on Tark back in the day, but I too loved watching those teams of his score every other second.
– UPDATE (4:08 pm): Demetric Warren reporting OU has offered 2016 DE Damion Dickens (Lexington, MS).
Refreshed and still the 12:48 is the latest update.
Status report purposes only.
I just got home and on a different computer…..still seeing what you’re seeing.

Sick of last year, other than Perine. This year looking for 11-1.
https://twitter.com/JUCOFFrenzy/status/565531482568265728
How many OL do you think we take this year 3 or 4? Only 2 seniors right?
Every time I see a #66, still think of Granny! Old timers will know who I’m talking about.
I met Granny a few times. He and I were dating girls who lived in the same dorm. I’ve never seen a man that big move so much like a cat.
Liggins was a great player. The 67 team was one of my all-time favorites. Made it to every home game.
Granville Liggins — now there’s a blast from the past. Amazing athlete.
I remember, he was my favorite as I was also a nose guard.
I was crushed when he got hurt in the Orange Bowl.
More old timers, like me, on here than I thought! A 5-10 200lbs quick as a cat NG, is hard to imagine these days but he was a helluva player. Had a long and illustrious career in the CFL.
even in those days he was a bit undersized for the position. But it sure didn’t matter. He was the player that represented the turn of OU’s fortunes, I thought. A whole different type of player.
Interesting take on Monty to GB (from LandThieves poster):
For those of you who are saying that its Monty’s path to the NFL. Read up a little bit on what a QC coach is, and who usually becomes QC coaches. Or, on second thought, I’ll give you a sampling of NFL Defensive QC coaches around the league:
GB current DQC coach John Rushing: 2 years Utah State Secondary coach, 1 year Montana State Secondary, Boise St Grad Assistant
Denver Chris Beake: Air Force GA, Offensive/Defensive/QC assistant San Fran, ATL LB coach for 2 years, Offensive assistant/Off. QC Seattle, Offensive assistant San Fran, Offensive Assistant Cleveland, then Denver
Kansas City Britt Reid: St Johns Prep School assistent OL coach, Temple University Grad Assistant, then KC quality control
Kansas City Mark DeLeone: Iowa Student Assistant, New Hampshire Dir. of Football Ops/assistant OL coach, UF QC, Temple GA, NY Jets Defensive Assistant, then KC quality control
Dallas Ben Bloom: GA defensive line Tufts University, Cle Browns Assistant Team Ops, defensive assistant Cle Browns, Dallas Defensive QC
Jerry Montgomery: 05 North Iowa CC DC, North Iowa GA, North Iowa DL, Wyoming DL, Michigan DL, OU DL, OU co dc
Which one of these is not like the others? The ONLY way this makes sense is if he is being placed in a QC role temporarily until GB either gets rid of another coach or GB knows another coach is moving on and then they will slide him over into a position coach spot. QC coaches and offensive/defensive “assistants” are basically assistants to the position coaches, they aren’t a path to the NFL for a “rising star” (Stoops’ words) at a school like OU.
looks like jon gruden was one
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/27/sports/football/27quality.html?_r=0
edit: as were todd haley, steve spagnuolo, brad childress, tony sparano, et al
i get what people are trying to say, but it doesn’t necessarily have to mean anything other than its a foot in the door and he’ll have to pay his dues. not many guys get to be the head coach at mich st then lsu then go straight to hc in the nfl and leave them hanging and then come back to college when the nfl ain’t for them
Good piece.
With the work ethic Monty exhibited at OU he will do well in his new job and in climbing the ladder.
granted, i did not look too heavily into, just thought it was food for discussion
of course and thank you for bringing it over here. i know we usually don’t agree on most stuff but enjoy your thoughts as they are presented in a well thought out thoughtful process. you and toats are 2 of my favorite disagreers because you keep it light. it just does not surprise me that someone on landthieves would be very shortsighted and skew all the way to the negative on a subject which can be debunked in 2 minutes
Land Thieves as a source not normally a good idea 🙂 And I do enjoy the banter back and forth as well, and occasionally we even agree lol 🙂
It really doesn’t matter much now why he took the job.
Dude needs more than five examples to make his point on that one.
I concede that, just food for thought is all
Good article. Thanks for posting. I dont know what it means in terms of state of the sooner football program, but I think logic tells me things are pretty far from ok. The ND guy we picked up was someone who got demoted and the WSU man came here for family reasons. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of Oklahoma as a big time destination program.
J, just use this, and imagine the printer is your server/computer program!

Working on my Macs here
Hmmmmmm. Ok, then

They must be.
Are we still experiencing problems as I’m not showing any updates yet Jordan is reporting there were some?
Yes there are site problems.
Yup

Good podcast. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting!
“As long as we’re scoring points and moving the ball and helping our team
win, then how we get that done is honestly irrelevant to me.”
Bob has things under control. Ain’t worried ’bout nothin’. Mas cervesa frio. Mas nachos caliente.
Me either.
Bring on the chop sticks and Kobe.
BEEF, it’s what’s for dinner.
Breakfast.. that’s what’s for dinner..
Oooo000oooh, I love breakfast.
Wakey-wakey eggs and bacey(and sausage and waffles and pancakes and hashbrowns).

I want to eat that!
Same here, all of it, even though the biscuits and grits are missing.
Longwhorn beef, its whats for dinner… 😉
Noooo, Kobe is for dinner.
Longhorns beef has to be ground and flavored, too tough and flavorless for anything other than burgers.
You got me hungary Tex. Firing up the grill!
Me too. 🙂
Im going to throw on some jalapeno cheese deer suasage, and fry up some potatoes and onions.
Sounds good.
Waiting for my meat sauce with Penne pasta to be ready.
Made the same thing!
That would be worth dying twice for.
Yessir, or even die trying.
it’s A liiiiive 🙂

Looks like “houston sooner” over on LTs…think he got banned from there…is that possible
He never celebrates when anything good happens, yet is always eager to wallow in misery.
Have only heard what LT is like, never been there, but based on what I’ve heard this guy seems like he would fit in fine over there.
I just lurk over the recruiting board during crunch time and thats what I took from guys that actual post..not really my crowd either..like being at a bar w a bunch of smartaces and only a limited number actually know anything about football
Funny story.
I was the only OU fan at a sports bar in Austin back ’77 with a few hundred wHorn fans. I let them know early on I was there and we all had a good time bantering back and forth, except for one guy.
Whenever things went well for Texsa they would all yell “OU sucks” and that one guy would turn around and flip me off. Whenever things went well for OU I would yell “Boomer,” and that one guy would flip me off.
Finally, late in the game when it was obvious OU wouldn’t be able to come back that guy joined in on the “OU sucks” then double flipped me.
That did it, so I stood up and yelled “if OU sucks then Darrell Royal sucks.”
It got real quiet and there were some mutterings that I had gone too far, I couldn’t talk about their greatest coach like that. So I asked loudly to the few hundred there, “where did DKR go to college?” Minds churned, feet shuffled, change jingled and finally some guy said “Texsa.”
I said no dumbasses, DKR went to OU. Your greatest coach was an All-American football player at OU. Stunned silence.
As we filed out I realized I had just performed one of the greatest buzz kills of all time. Several hundred drinking pitchers of beer for four hours were completely without their buzzes as they left.
LOL good story (nothing like the Bonnie and Clyde one but still good)…we could get em with Mack but I wouldn’t want to claim him the way he went out
WBB at Baylor in 30 min… Get it girls
What channel? I was just trying to find something worthy of my time.
FSSW+ i think, Im at work so will have to listen on the Soonersports2Go
Had to search through all my ALT channels but I found it. thx.
You are welcome
Checked all of mine, including ppv, not on here.
Mine is Dish channel 449 which I believe is a Fox Alternate sports channel.
Time Warner here, got lots of stuff but not the good gals.
OU can’t hit a shot to save their life……Sherri’s hair is starting to curl.
I’m not seeing any new posts. Is there a problem?
Not with posting, just with seeing updates.
Bunch of us are having dinner.
And once again…I wasn’t invited…I get it.
Were you surprised?
Not anymore…like I said, I get it. : – (
I got it once, but saw a doctor and got rid of it. :-0
Science!
They are just jealous of your looks Toats.
The Stache does that for some. It’s a curse and a blessing.
What did it for me was the time you let your cat lap all the gravy out of my potato boat, you ate all my Little Debbie snack cakes, and didn’t even offer to help with the dishes. 🙂
Help with the dishes? That’s why I brought my cat!
LOL!
I had to reset my option to see newest posts…it reset to best and I kept seeing Beavis for a few hours and wondered the Butthead everyone was
Thanks. Fixed my problems too. Should have noticed.
the offers to these ‘elite’ prospects make news but OU has little chance but for a fraction of them.. many are already committed or looking a high D-1 schools much closer to home…hopefully OU can sign 3-5 of Scout’s top 300 for 2016. that would make a nice group to head a class of 18-20…..on the other hand, an offer from OU looks good on a prospects offer sheet and give the kid something to brag about…………..makes for nice relations between the staff and HS coaches across the country….
You ever thought about becoming a motivational speaker?
He does live in a van down by the river, I believe. Seems to have affected his positive outlook a tad!
I FEEL motivated…
I believe in being as honest as possible even in the face of unfounded optimism………….
That is the biggest shot in the dark I have heard here. You have no idea what OU’s chances are with any of the 2016 prospects…no one does. Not enough info out there yet and what is out there probably won’t stand up over the next 12 months.
You reply to him as though his comment is actually serious and based in reality.
yeah he’s like marshawn lynch or a lost animal or a gremlin. the more you feed him, the more he wants to stick around and get stronger
blaster………..history is pretty clear. OU signs roughly 10%-15% of those offered on a yearly basis….that is not abnormal at the D-1 level ; however, the more successful teams ( Alabama, tOSU, USC, Texas, etc) average closer to 25%-35% signing rate to offer ratio.–and that is expected since young guys flock to high profile programs more readily whether said school is winning or losing… again it has much to do with demographics, location, and conference perception—-3 things OU coaches have no control over………..last season for example, ou signed 24 out of some 150 offers = 16% success rate ….depending on the won-loss for 2015 , that percentage may fluctuate up or down……….
I think Scott Hill happened to the board.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54EV42w4_t0
Scotty was a torpedo on that hit!
If I remember correctly, that was the only game of Dorsett’s college career that he was held below a hundred yards.
Can’t remember if it was for that year or his career but you could be right. Bet he had nightmares of #7 for a long time.
You may be correct. It has been a few years and legends have a tendency to grow over the years.
That’s correct. Remember watching some heads talking about how great Dorsett was and how he gained at least 100 yards in every game in college. Then, another head, said every game but one. OU held him to 17.
I’ll bet Dorsett has night terrors from that hit.
Scott Hill was definitely a terror on the field. The story was he was responsible for seven knockouts during his Oklahoma career. Though I think three of them were his own.
Didn’t he come to OU as a RB?
QB
You’re right!
Now I remember.
Barry signed a few QBs that ended up being a DB. Darrell Ray was another.
I don’t remember. Could have been.
Scott “knockout” Case was the hardest hitting safety I can remember at OU. Dude just layer the hammer down.
Loved watching that dude….there were always high fives flying every time he took someone’s head off.
I was at that game and, as far as I could tell, there was no doubt in the mind of anyone at the stadium which team had THE great running back, in spite of the national hype..
OK I know I already posted one video, but I had to post this. It’s classic Switzer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQMpgnI5ERA
There will never be another one like him.
He was quite the character and quite the coach.
Dayuuummmm, I get caught up in work for a few days and find this out about Monty??? Wtf!! Soooooo does anyone have any idea of the direction we might be headed for his replacement?
We HAVE to keep Bedenbaugh(sp?) have to. I don’t even know who the best candidates would be to replace Monty. I wish him the best. He worked his butt off for us.
There are no confirmed candidates yet. They say they are still early in the process so we can only speculate who it might be. I think Mike Elston from Notre Dame would be a solid hire. He already knows the 3-4. A couple good non 3-4 guys are Chris Kiffen from Ole Miss and Brick Haley from LSU.
Just saw this tweet from Tony Casillas
I’m officially putting my name in the hat for the DL Coaching Job at @OU_Football!! @OU_CoachStoops!!
This for real? Or is he just joshing?
Don’t know, that’s what I asked him.
Would certainly be Interesting. But, are his qualifications good enough? lol
His sister used to cut my hair when I was younger…..not sure what that says about his coaching abilities. 🙂
That they’re “sharp?”
Excellent players don’t always make excellent coaches. I like Tony but maybe he should get a coaching resume before applying to be the d line coach for OU. Jmo though.
Awesome.
Even if he’s serious, I don’t know if it will get any traction. He’s never coached, as far as I know.
Yeah, I like the hunger nonetheless.
I didn’t realize they were just having a hat drawing for this one.
Might as well….
Hell to the No…!
After listening to his radio show and his appearance in the boz 30 for 30, he seems like he has absolutely no touch with fans/audiences…I can’t imagine he would be able to reach 18-22 year old kids
Yeah he was/is critical of Bob and the program. That’s why I don’t see him getting even an interview.
ok so i get it, don’t understand it or condone it, but i get why fans don’t like him. they are deflecting all their angst, anger, vitriol, bitterness, etc aimed at themselves because they went all in on bob since he won it all his 2nd yr in and now they feel let down or whatever since we haven’t won it since. we’ve been there but he doesn’t get credit for that. what is it about former players that some don’t like him? he seems to accommodate them doesn’t he? is it closing practice?
From what I can tell he has embraced former players and coaches from the get-go. Years ago there was some friction between Wilkinson & Switzer players, could be something similar now with Switzer vs Stoops guys. Who knows.
yeah its always seemed to me that he loves having the guys back and help even by just showing their face
I stayed at Holiday Inn last night, I’d like to throw my name in that hat.
That knife would probably need sharpening first.
I love Ol’Tony, but this isn’t the time or place.
I would like his knowledge about the position and what it takes to play at an elite level but he is far from smooth.
He is so far removed from his playing days, much less the fact he has never coached, that the idea isn’t worthy of consideration.
He can throw all the hats in all the rings he wants, it won’t matter.
His comment, if serious, was a bit insulting to OU coaching. He has never coached. Loved him in his playing days, but come on now.
He really isn’t shy about speaking his mind no matter the audience.
I think he would end up shoving Mike into a gatorade bottle the first time Mike screamed at him.
He’s hired!
What’s Bob waiting on! Hire Tony C already, his hat is in the ring and everything.
If we could somehow get Kelly & Jackson to commit early before their Senior year it would go along way in settling down everyhthing on the recruiting front!
Weird…he just got a bama offer and moved up in the rankings…that never happens
Fight on Sooners.
http://s3tapcdn-a.akamaihd.net/images/w620/b6/fe/fd/dc/30a22ef3708c749926ae7bf.jpg
Whenever I see that quote….It makes me think of Billy Madison.
I’m officially putting my name in the hat for the DL Coaching Job at @OU_Football!! @OU_CoachStoops!!
Like I said yeserday, Tony brings two super bowl rings to the table, a National Championship, he won the Lombardi Award 12 years in the NFL. Does that mean he can coach, well thats a wait and see but I bet he can recruit! Now get Dusty and Teddy and we could be back on the Defensive Map Nationally. you are a D lineman coach, your in front of a recurit with a superbowl ring and Nat Champ ring kids love the bling bling bling add that to Bob Stoops and tradition hard to turn down
If we’re talking about hiring our former players tony would be way down on the list. Yes he has a ton of awards and rings but i can’t see him relating well to kids, I could be wrong though.
IMO it would be completely ridiculous and irresponsible of BStoops to go around and hire former Sooner greats. Most of them have zero experience at coaching and the ones that do haven’t really proved themselves to be ready to coach at a place like OU. Stoops needs to sit down, find out who is the very best at coaching up Dlines and make a list, offer them a hefty amount and move on down the list until someone takes it….or MAKE someone take it by offering something they can’t refuse. That’s just my opinion though.
Not seeing anything new this morning….is this part working?
you have to go to the TFB pay site now if you want any news JK
So… I can’t view anything other than yesterday’s posts. I have cleared what I was supposed to, but still no luck. Any suggestions?
What are we supposed to clear?
Cookies and history, at least that’s what I remember Jordan saying to clear.
Site down??
WHERE IS MY FEBRUARY 12 SOONER NEWS DAILY!??1?1?1?1?1
http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view7/3558634/rhonj-teresa-table-flip-o.gif
Have coffee, no TFB….not a good start to the day….
Anyone else intrigued by William Inge at Indiana? He played at Iowa (seems to be a popular resume bonus). Helped develop some solid prospects and seems to be a solid recruiter (lets face it, it has to be hard to recruit to Indiana given the competition it is up against).
Still not working? Bummer. A day without TFB is like a day without sunshine.
Bummer, indeed.
nm.
until now I had not experienced any site issues her except the time sig on comments being out of whack ,, getting page not found notices now for Sooners News Daily 2.12.15
update ; so as soon as I post this it loads 🙂
nevermind
I wonder who’s making these DL offers..Mike would be my guess
