Just wanted to get this up somewhere so it wasn’t missed. Bob Stoops said Monday, during the Big 12 conference call and then again later during his weekly presser, that as of today, RB Keith Ford, DE Matt Dimon & DE Charles Walker are expected to be out for the Kansas State game.
However, Stoops also said they still had the rest of the week to see if that will be the case come Saturday and that he’d make an announcement if something were to change regarding their status.
So it sounds like there may be a chance one or more of them might be available against K-State, but I probably wouldn’t get my hopes up. If I had to guess, I’d say Walker would be the most likely followed by Dimon and then Ford.
As always, if there are any new developments on this we’ll update you as soon as we hear something.
– UPDATE: Apologies as I should have added this last night, but Matt Dimon returned to practice yesterday. Oh, and also should have included Derrick Woods in the initial post. He’s still out until further notice as well.

I wonder how Ford’s conditioning will be after such a long layoff? Not sure, but I wouldn’t think he is able to do any running/cardio work his particular injury. Probably safer to keep him out another two weeks until ISU though.
He can still do cardio, just not any real impact movements.
That, and the atrophy from having to rest his broken fibula. He’ll probably need a few games before he’s comfortable planting and cutting like he’s used to doing, once he’s cleared to play.
He’s actually been practicing from what I’ve heard, just not cleared for full contact I guess.
I missed it somewhere, but what happened to Dimon. I don’t remember hearing him get hurt and which game was it? I never saw or heard anything.

Anyone know more about Walker? I had great hopes for him this season and would like to believe he can get back soon.
Starting to question whether it would be better to seek a medical redshirt for Walker if he isn’t ready to put in substantial minutes and be effective by Baylor.
