It’s Monday which means Bob Stoops will be holding his weekly press conference. Which also means we’ll be here to recap things for you as they happen.

Expect A LOT of Samaje Perine ‘talk about’ questions today

He has looked a little “hampered” in the last 6 or so quarters.
Don’t like the sound of that…

Good teams shouldn’t need a wake up call in my opinion, they should be playing their hardest every time they’re on the field.
To me it didn’t seem like a wake up call. I fully expected WVU’s offense to put up points. I think our defense played well considering how good that offense is.

When was the last time an OU back had 34 carries in a game? Probably not as far back as I might think, I’m sure.
I’m guessing AD had gotten that many, but could be wrong. Has to be in the Stoops era.
I think Demarco had 30+ in a game a few years back.
Demarco Murry had 35 carries in 2010 against Utah State.
Didn’t Clay have a game or two last year where he was the featured back?

Aww, I was hoping PGrind or PRhino would stick.
PRhino works for me.
P-Money
Perine-asaurus Rex
I think we’re saving that one for Mbanasor…
That’s a great nickname
….how ’bout ‘smash’……..accurate and to the point
I like Tank, which is what the tv guys said the team called him.
…which is the nickname given to him by the team. Think it was Evans quoted calling him ‘Tank’.
I like SMASHEE Perine
Think we will see a Transformer commercial on Sooner Sports TV, like they have for Calvin Johnson on ESPN?
ADAN- “All Day And Night”

Interesting stat – Durron Neal threw for a TD before he caught or ran for one as a Sooner. Who would’ve thought that would be the case?
Stoops starts every presser the same way, complimenting the opponent from the previous week.
Compare and contrast with Saban..:-)
Stoops: We had very few, in any, line of scrimmage problems. Trevor handled the atmosphere great, threw it well.
Stoops: Samaje has great feet to get thru holes & showed great strength and power getting thru tackles. Great feet for a big guy, even for a little guy.
Going back and re-watching, very fluid in the hips. Great ability to change direction for his size. He is the complete package.
His ability to run through people is so strong, you can miss the fact that his last 2 TD runs were basically untouched.
Stoops: We settled down (on defense) and really played well in the second half.
Stoops: We got three turnovers, three sacks, created some field position in those situations. So we had some big plays defensively as well.
Eric Striker & Quentin Hayes were the defensive players of the game
words cannot describe how crucial Hayes’ INT was to us winning. It’s was right up there with the kickoff return by Ross.
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/514099237940756480
Stoops four games in on his team: For me they’ve been a great group to coach in that they’re really listening.
It’s awesome to see so much coachable talent in Norman. Hope we can continue this.
Stoops on the o-line: I feel, we are a really strong group there. We feel confident with whoever is in there.
Stoops said Tyler Evans was a little sore last week which was the reason he missed the WVU game. But he’s expected to practice today.
Savage was a beast, again. Love the depth at OG.
Gotta love the NASTY that Savage brings!!!
Stoops: Zack (Sanchez) will be fine. Won’t take much contact the next 2 weeks.
https://twitter.com/EricBaileyTW/status/514099880264863745
Damn. That sucks. I have a few friends who have battled with this. Dangerous is the word.
Had 2 frowns die from sickle cell it is scary.
Did they have sickle cell trait or sickle cell anemia?
Anemia
Trait is fairly common, approximately 1 in 10-12 African-Americans, 1 in 100 Hispanic males.
Shepard is fine as well according to Stoops as I’d seen some ask about him Saturday night also.
Stoops when asked about it looking like Sanchez was playing with one arm: It’s hard. You don’t feel it’ll get worse but you have to be careful.
It may not get worse, but it won’t get any better if he plays either. It looked bad late in the game on Saturday. Go back and watch the last TD run by WVU, and watch Sanchez. If that is the effort he was going to give in that situation (and I’m not saying I don’t understand that), why not keep the backup in the game? I thought there were times we could have rested or protected him against Tenn as well. We gotta be smart with those injuries.
I agree.
No doubt. And how do you think the back up feels when he can’t even get in the game when the starter is playing with one arm and off his game. I’d be frustrated and irritated at the coaches for not putting me in.
Towards the end there is no way Sanchez, as hurt as he was, was better than Thomas unless we have been led down the rosy path about Thomas by the staff.
Stoops: And to be fair, in certain instances, we need to give our CBs more help. We did some of that in the second half and it made a big difference in the game.
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/514100720614653952
It’s hard to believe Sanchez didn’t have a single INT in the first 10 games last year…. now he’s had 6 in the last 7 games.
Eschbach just asked if they’ll try and play Alex Ross as a slot WR. Tramel will probably write a blog on it later today/tomorrow. SMH
Stoops: Not sure on Keith Ford’s status. We’ll get update later today, but he (Ford) isn’t expected to practice this week.
Stoops: Experience along the 0-line is key to their improvement. Bill (Bedenbaugh) has made a difference in how they read defenses as well. “We are big up there.”
As usual, waiting for JY’s Trench Warfare. This should be great. Saw OU run into the strength several times and still moved the ball against a stacked defense. Hey JY!!! Give us a little special attention on how well Rip is blocking, too.
You noticed ripkowski too?!
yeah, rip was blowing guys up left and right…
Stoops: They (RBs) have been great hanging onto the ball & getting those extra yards without putting the ball on the ground.
Stoops: We’ve had more than our share of big returns in a big games. That was a huge one the other night.
Bob didn’t seem so sure Mike has been calmer this year (Mike said he has been).
https://twitter.com/john_shinn/status/514102327628660736
Hilarious
Heard this story this morning on KREF
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/514102388244754432
Was this the sideline warning flag?
Not sure. The story referenced a stoppage very early in the game. Was that flag thrown early?
I’m sorry, and not offense to Q.Hayes, but I’m calling b.s. on this one.
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/514102713840173056
Are you saying that Q. wouldn’t be competitive with Ross and Brooks? 4.4 in the 40 seems like he would be. I did read that Shepard was the fastest guy on the team, but it sounds like you’re saying Q isn’t in there.
I heard Miciah Quick was the fastest
I suggest that players organize some volunteer annual races for the “fastest” honors.
Run the 40 and/or 100 by position, and then do an overall.
I wouldn’t have guessed this either, but I don’t know what motive Stoops would have for embellishing Q’s speed.
I think it’s much more about speaking in generalities than it is consciously trying to embellish anything.
Stoops: He (Q.Hayes) has matured (since his suspension two years ago) and really become a leader back there in way he conducts himself.
The media could cover how a second chance actually helped a kid, but they aren’t. Instead, let’s beat Stoops up over continuing to give second chances to kids…
Stoops on the alternate unis: Took me a while (to recognize his team). I told an official it didn’t look like my team.
Stoops: We’re not going to make a habit it (wearing alternate uniforms).
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/514103238711197696
hey. If they make the players feel good… As long as we dont go to wearing them ALL THE TIME… I’m good with it
OU’s traditional crimson cannot be beat but these, other than the shade of red, are growing on me. Needed ‘crimson’ not Campbell’s tomato soup red color pants. Do like the ‘OKLAHOMA’ on the jerseys, too. Waiting for the white helmets. Those are off the chain.
The pants are crimson. The jerseys and helmets are crimson and black, which makes the pants look lighter.
If you were at the game, guess you could make a more definitive judgment, but the pants definitely appear several shades lighter in print and on tv.
AGREE! AGREE! AGREE! The tradition at OU is WINNING not uniforms!!! If the recruits and players like them wear them every week for all I care just keep winning!
Stoops said OU has received some info from the NCAA regarding Baker Mayfield’s appeal, he but won’t say what it is right now.
I will say it doesn’t sound positive to me. I assume the appeal will either continue or they have more work to do. If it was good news I think he would have said so.
Why would Stoops provide info on this situation. Why would he want TCU to know and prepare for both just in case.
I hope TCU is not preparing for our 2nd string QB in any way shape or form. That would mean we lost TK9 and I don’t like the sound of that! LOL!
Well for one I would think he would want tcu to prepare for both. However even if mayfield is eligible I believe they will use knight the same. And they wouldn’t ask mayfield to do things differently than knight it would just be a matter of how the qbs progress through their reads and who is more accurate those would be the only differences.
Exactly, not to mention it’s Knight’s show anyway at this point. TCU knows that as well. I think Baker would only come in if Knight gets hurt or to close out a game we have in total control.
https://twitter.com/Jordan_Esco/status/514104110216273920
Going to be???????
Selective meaning it won’t happen unless he scrambles for 4 yards when no one is within 25 yards of him!
I don’t know how much more selective they could be. They might as well have shackles on the kid at this point.
Agree. However, our run game was in overdrive so why have him run at all. I know, he could’ve made a couple longer runs but I would rather let the RB’s take the hits. Other teams are going to see this and focus on RB and on occasion Trevor will take off and it will be big.
They will let him run when he needs to. Not sure who the tougher defenses we will face the rest of the way are, but if we struggle in them, you might see more of the QB run game.
In the second half he really didn’t need to run at all. There were several times he had nothing but open field in front of him in the first half. I’d much rather the rb’s take the hits too, but Knight is also a very good running QB. I really don’t want him running more than 5 times a game anyway but him taking off a couple of times gives the d that much more to worry about.
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/514104276520402945
It was a perfect kick. Why Franklin pulled up rather than dive for the ball…didn’t know where he was on the field?? Oy-vey.
Pretty sure Franklin was suppose to block and not touch the ball. The kicker was suppose to recover the kick but had to wait till it went 10 yards first. Everything worked fine till it clipped Franklin at 9 1/2 yards. Just one of those “footballs aren’t round and bounce crazy sometimes” things. Bad break though cause it totally fooled WVU!
I like the gamble coupled with the flea-flicker throw back to TK. Riverboat Bob still willing to gamble and throw a few tricks out.
Franklin was just running down the field with no purpose or awareness. If he didn’t touch the ball, that would have been executed to perfection.

https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/514105084670517248
Stoops: K.J. Young continues to make big plays on third down, need him to keep improving, along with Durron Neal as well.
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/514105350178340864
Major understatement, Bob.
https://twitter.com/ryaber/status/514105849099194368
I don’t agree with Shep returning punts. After watching the WRs against WVU, we really don’t have another viable option if he goes down.
that’s a wrap
So quickly rereading all of this. What did we really learn here?
Very little. Same as every other Monday Stoops presser. Why, were you expecting something different?
Nope, I have been used to it for many years. When did Stoops ever give more than this? By the way, Jordon, I am new here but we have traded texts before. Glad to see you over here.
Happy to see you here as well.
Been following here since the Sugar Bowl. There is serious football spoken about here, excellent x’s and o’s knowledge. Even an old man like me can learn a lot here. Very glad to be here.
Good to hear 🙂
Was there something that you would have liked him to talk about that he didn’t? I know he gets a lot of flack for not providing info, but I think he does a pretty good job considering the questions, which are mostly “give me a quote for the article I’m gonna write.” And when I occasionally compare him to other coaches’ press conferences, he seems a cut above in terms of the directness of his answers.
Nothing earth shattering, but he made it clear that they will remain very careful with Trevor. I think it’s a very smart way to play it, and I’m not sure if I can ever recall a team, anywhere keeping a weapon of that power under wraps to prevent injury and focus on the long season.
Yep. If Mayfield becomes eligible, maybe you can play a little looser with Knight. But not with Thomas as the main backup.
I agree with you, although, I suspect the main difference will be that the complaints about not running Knight will just get louder. I would think they’ll still follow the same plan, protect Knight as much as possible, as long as we’re winning, and esp. if we’re ending up easily ahead. But sure will feel more comfortable having Baker available.
So what does this sickle cell thing mean for Tapper as far as the rest of the season goes?
They just have to monitor him I’m sure. He’s played at a high level until this week for a year and a half. He may have been dehydrated or the elevation could have messed with him. Although I’m not sure what the elevation is in Morgantown.
I think it’s Ryan Clark from the steelers who can’t play in Denver because of the same condition.
On the question of the elevation in Morgantown. Its 13,568 feet above sea level. 95% of that height comes from imbibing XXX Moonshine.
Well that’s about 11,000 feet higher than Norman. Good thing we don’t go to boulder any more.
Boulder is 5,430 feet. Norman is 1,171. This actually shows Morgantown’s elevation as 823 feet:http://www.usclimatedata.com/map.php?location=USWV0507
I have no clue where13,000 came from. Stupid Wikipedia.
Inches.
13,000? Where did you come up with that?
Morgantown’s elevation is 960 feet above sea level. Norman’s is 1,171 feet. Playing in Norman would be more difficult than Morgantown.
LOL. And they call themselves the “Mountaineers”…
Morgantown elevation is less than Norman!
From what I have read it seems that it is hereditary so he has had it from birth. It can cause different health problems but is managed with different meds. It can be a bigger problem than normal if they get fatigued or exhausted. So since he has had it for his whole live and even last year when he was dominant then I would say his prognosis for this year is would be fine with a little game management.
I would be greatly surprised if the medical folks at OU did not already know that he had this. It is my understanding that it is manageable to a great extent. But that does not mean he will go without symptoms from time to time.
OU puts all new recruits through a physical including sickle cell tests. They know about these kids before they have their first summer workouts.
This was actually made public when Tapper first got to OU as I remember reading somewhere back then that he had the trait.
With regard to the condition, I think elevation can make things worse. Ryan Clark (S for Steelers) could not play when they went to Denver. Maybe the flight out to WV helped cause some of his symptoms to flair up? I’m sure they have a handle on it, as we have had previous athletes that also carried the sickle cell trait.
I wonder if all his family being at the game made him push himself a little harder this game?
Ryan Clark was on the Redskins last I checked.
Curtis Lofton’s still starting in the NFL as well. Just have to give him a rest when he says he needs a rest.
Among other things that he can play in swamps with a reduced risk of malaria.
LOL
If there is 1 major issue I have with this staff, it’s not playing backups while playing guys who are injured into the ground. Tapper has SCT and they play him to exhaustion. Phillips has back issues, he was rarely substituted. Sanchez is playing with one arm, and they can’t put in Thomas for a few plays. IMO winning is important but the long term welfare of these young men should be as important as anything the staff does.
My issue right now, is why do we run that zone read option if we are going to protect TK? If you don’t allow TK to actually option and its a preset run, it makes a wonderful telegraph.
I think it’s a combo of letting the offense run it at game speed, let’s them see what would happen if they run it for real later in the game, and sets it up as a decoy for future games, if and when they ever do let him read it.
Yea, if I’m the DE I am crashing down every time until I have to respect it. We are showing too many tendencies.
Until we don’t. Knight is going to keep it one of these days, and moonwalk 75 yards for the TD.
“Until we don’t. Knight is going to keep it one of these days, and moonwalk 75 yards for the TD.” exactly.
I’d like to see him do this twice every game. I truly understand the importance to keep him healthy, and it should be a priority. But our offense won’t evolve and blossom into a complete striking force until we run the zone read option the way it was meant. I thought we were running this offense because we recruited the right QB for it. Knight plays better all the way around when he gets the freedom to play with all his capabilities.
“I thought we were running this offense because we recruited the right QB for it” I think you’re right, but they adapted out of necessity and have stumbled into something pretty smart. Usually teams put the guy at risk, just to run the whole offense, and then have to play a game or two without him, which often blows the season.
Yes, that is definitely the other side of the coin and the coaches are playing it safe and perhaps smart with the confidence they have in the defense. But there have been times where Knight has had nothing but green in front of him…..tuck the ball run and slide. Inevitably, this will open up other avenues in the offense. I’m not going to argue the coaches position to keep Trevor safe, but it certainly has limited the effectiveness of a good option QB. Of course, I was kind of hoping Knight could mirror a lot of what Eric Crouch did at Nebraska. Ultimately, I do want TK healthy and leading the charge in winning another NC.
The fans and especially the media are gonna say, now that Mayfield’s available, let Trevor take off. But it won’t surprise me if the coaches take an “if it ain’t broke…” approach, and continue as they have, until a specific situation arises that requires change.
I think you’re right, they hold it until absolutely necessary or the playoff. This also keeps defenses from frequently hitting TK after a handoff just in case it was a fake. And prevents his ugly slides that could just as likely cause an injury as hit.
If I’m a DE, I’m screaming “Prove it”.
It feels like people have forgot about TK’s injury struggles last year. Do we have a great back-up option if he goes down?
Our offense has changed. It helps our defense. The goal of this staff isn’t to beat the point spread. They want to develop, control the game, win, and peak at the right time. If you want to watch a team who’s goal is to score on every possession, as many times as possible, using the most developed skills, watch Baylor.
The ZR-keep will be an option when it needs to be. Until then, lets be happy with the solid performance that we’re seeing every week.
Gut feeling Jordan……….Mayfield gonna get his eligibility?
i sorta thought Stoops would have just answered instead of deferring the answer, if that were the case.
That’s my thinking. I can see it either way but stoops doesn’t need to make a splash with this announcement and I don’t see how waiting would have meant good news. The only way I think it’s positive is if he wants to wait because he doesn’t want 2 weeks of the “Trevor better be looking over shoulder” type of stories.
“he doesn’t want 2 weeks of the “Trevor better be looking over shoulder” type of stories.” Very interesting. Hadn’t thought of that.
…….or the notion that we would now have a viable backup should something happen to Knight, meaning we’d probably be more open to TK taking off a little more and becoming more of a running threat than he’s been able to be this year. Stoops isn’t one to reveal a competitive advantage like that if he doesn’t have to.
That was sort of my thinking…
The Big XII conference does have a say in whether Baker gets to play. The conference does have an in-conference transfer that will have to be waived or so I think.
another good point. There was that stuff about an expert saying that after NCAA approval, Big XII would have to sign off… you guys are getting me all optimistic about this now…:-)
That’s Bob’s delay IMO. Feel like NCAA came back with positive news but Stoops doesn’t want to say anything until all hurdles have been crossed
Wish my gut felt the same but I feel the news is not good and they’re deciding what the next move is before commenting. Hope I’m wrong!!
I would guess the NCAA has probably cleared Mayfield, but the Big 12 must also grant a release for him to be eligible this year. My guess is that’s what Stoops is waiting on before he makes any type of announcement.
My gut feel all along after he got this lawyer (and with his, the lawyer, successful track record vs. the NCAA) was that he’d get it.
My wife asked me to go to the newsok website.(There is a story about one of her friends on there) I jokingly asked her if she was looking for more breaking news on Joe Mixon. Turns out there was more breaking news on Joe. SMH I can’t…
I should’ve went to school for journalism. Turns out it’s that easy.
LOL
Mayfield declared eligible!
…….hey, I’m sittin’ here listening to trabor, forgive me, and he just said Blevins, forgive me, says that Mayfield was given 3rd yr of eligibility……not sure if it means he’s available now a/o the backup now
Tweet says effective immediately.
can you post it?…..thxs
WWLS just tweeted it. Mayfield is eligible.

I still don’t buy what dean Blevins is saying. Hasn’t he tried to jump the gun so he can say he was first? Several times?

GAME ON!!!
If the news on Baker is true, this team just got a ton better! Hopefully he won’t have to take a snap except in mop up duty, but now I believe the shackles will be taken off TK, or at least loosened! I’m not suggesting in any way he run the ball 10 times a game but they have to run true Zone Reads to keep the defense honest. When he pulls it the first time they crash down on the back and he goes 50 yards in a blink… this offense will be unstoppable!
Frankly, if we are going to play a pass-only QB, TK might not be the best starter.
I definitely don’t think his strength is in the drop back throwing game. He is far better on the move. You gotta move the pocket on roll outs and boots and put pressure on the defense. Especially when he starts to struggle. TK has a good strong arm but he is not the most accurate guy and he just looks so much more natural throwing on the move.
I disagree. I think TK is a better passer than most are giving him credit for at this point.
I think TK is a good passer, just not as accurate as Mayfield…from what I’ve seen. I love TK, but his legs and arm make him a difference-maker. If we’re going to run the Landry offese, Mayfield might be a better fit.
At a comparable time of the season last year, Mayfield went 21 for 40 with 3 interceptions against TCU.
In his True Freshman campaign…
Yeah, I know. And I have nothing against Mayfield, I think he’s great and will do really well, if and when he gets in, but I suspect if he had had a game like that here, folks would still be concerned about the shortcomings in his game. Maybe not, cause he had a couple of successful outings after that, but fans do tend to have a long memory for imperfect outings. 🙂
Oh, I hear ya. Kinda like they did Landry Jones?
@soonermusic:disqus
And we’ve only seen him have one great game so far. The rest have been—-at best—-above average.
“at best—above average” We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one.
Exactly. TK’s lack of accuracy and poor 3rd down efficiency will be what keeps us from making the playoffs. Everything else is where it needs to be.
Agreed. It takes two to get to the dance. I think there will be a little more freedom but if we can get over 250 yards without Trevor keeping it, I got no problem.
Another loss for our GQ boy in wasteland.
It will just open things up so much more if he pulls it a few times a game.
“they have to run true Zone Reads to keep the defense honest” You may be right, but they might say that we gained over 500yds, 300 rushing, 200 passing, and scored 5 td’s, the balance of which would indicate that the defense was forced to be relatively honest, even w/o the zone read.
If the BigXII overturns this Mayfield decision I’m going to riot… Ok I’ll probably just be mad. But seriously, I can’t handle another game where the d end, an olb, a corner, a safety, the waterboy, the coaches wife and half the stadium are crashing down on our RB and TK still hands off because they called Zone Read Give.
They wouldn’t dare
I dunno, but I think they continue to play it that way, anyway.
Perfect timing if true !. I dont think our ZR can be one dimensional against a defense like TCU has.
Don’t worry… TK will have plenty of chances to use his legs when we play the better defenses (i.e. Texas, OK State, and Baylor). The fortunate thing is that we’ve averaged 45 points a game without even exposing that element of our offense.
nothing from tfb yet……….surprised
referencing?
read the posts for the last hr
They’ve been talking about it on their twitter account for at least an hour, pretty much agreed that we should take it with a grain of salt till an official announcement is made.
There’s a reason you haven’t seen a single person of credibility run w/ what at the time of me posting this comment is the one and only report of this being the case. Not to mention the report is grossly inaccurate in that even if the NCAA has cleared him, that does not make Mayfield immediately eligible to play for OU. The Big 12 can still deny him and supersede the NCAA’s ruling. All of which is not included in said “report.”
well said
Thanks for the heads up, Jordan.
Maybe it’s time to put a percentage on it…:-)
We’re not trying to ignore it, but as someone just said above, this isn’t about being first (as I believe the case to be w/ this initial report) as it is about being right.
IMO, and only IMO as I’m not speaking for anyone else here, the person who has reported this could very well be proved right but also has a rep for jumping the gun on stuff like this with a desire to be first. Knowing there will be very little, if any, repercussions if they’re wrong (again).
I agree, the person has a history of misinforming fans just to be first (the stadium renovations is a good example). If he is right, I think Bob is waiting for a ruling from the Big 12.
Everyone wants to be first. I’m just glad tfb wants to be right. That way when they are first you don’t have to say “welllll remember that one time”

Nothing from Sittler yet and he seemed like he was plugged in and following this closely. For what its worth.
I caved in and addressed Mayfield here (https://thefootballbrainiacs.com/ou-oklahoma-sooners-football-baker-mayfield-report) so we can take the discussion there if you’d like.
Sorry, I just can’t see TacoTech agreeing to him playing this year and I think they will have a big say.
TT can’t do anything now and they did release him.
It would depend on how the BIG12 decides. Is it the commish, AD’s, coaches etc. Tech agreed to release him, they did not agree to him being eligible this year.
understood. I find it hard to believe the other acting members would vote no due to him being a walk on. If I’m a betting man and this even clears NCAA and gets to the Big 12, I’m taking Mayfield gets reinstated.
I hope so, just have a feeling Tech has heartburn over the whole situation and I think they will play hardball.
Agree but that is only one school. Trust me, I have no clue on how the Big 12 would approach this from an approval standpoint but if they go for a vote, I don’t think TT would persuade the other schools to agree with them. IMO.
If they truly fight it, I think their vote would be very important. What if there has to be a consensus or at least 9 out of 10 votes and Tech is the lone dissenter. I would think the BIG12 would want to avoid that possibility as then Tech would say that the league is changing the rules against them. Easiest thing would be for Tech to admit that he is gone and let it be, not sure they are man enough to do that.
It’s the stadium renovations story all over again with this mayfield deal.
I missed the renovation story. Elaborate?
Dean tried to break it before everyone else thinking it wasn’t going to be long before the regents voted. However 3 months or so passed before they voted and I’m sure he was off a bit.
The way I understand, the NCAA determines eligibility, but the BIG XII controls laundry facility chits and food truck access. So he can play, but dirty clothes and empty stomach 🙁
It appears that the “Heisenberg Blue” found its way to Texsa QB Swoopes.
He thinks they are playoff eligible.
Well, if they win out, I guess they could get in, if the ACC and BIG both tank. But then BYU would get in instead. So yeah, he’s either high or delusional.
There would have to be a whole bunch of 3 loss teams in the top four for this to happen.
