– Trejan Bridges: Yesterday, 2019 Hebron High School (Carrollton, TX) wide receiver, Trejan Bridges took a visit to Oklahoma. As TFB said in yesterday’s Open Post (TFB: Open Post – Tuesday, July 25th), Bridges was likely to get an offer from Oklahoma. That offer came to fruition as Riley and the Sooners staff offered Bridges while he was in Norman.

Bridges quickly told TFB that he loved the visit yesterday. Additionally, he agreed to come on with me to record a new podcast today. I will have a synopsis and link to that interview tomorrow in the OP. – (Brandon)

– Rueben Unije: To say Bill Bedenbaugh is building something special on the offensive line at OU is really an understatement. Bedenbaugh has OU in position to be one of the last teams standing with 2018 IMG Academy offensive tackle, Rueben Unije. Unije named his top seven yesterday on Twitter and, in his video, he gives the upside down longhorn hand gesture to the camera fairly early on.

It’s no surprise that Unije has OU in his top 7. Unije’s teammate at IMG, and Sooner commit, TJ Pledger has been working him for quite some time. With Brey Walker already solidified in the 2018 class, Oklahoma looks to be trying to get two more offensive tackle commitments in this class. TFB plans on catching up with Unije soon to see where he is planning to visit and when he will make a decision. – (Brandon)

– New staff member in works: Over the past few days, I have been holding onto some staff info because it is yet be solidified. That said, TFB can now feel confident in reporting that former All Big 12 center, Ty Darlington, will be added to the Sooners staff in a support role. That role has yet to be defined, but if will be either an analyst or quality control position. The time frame of Darlington’s position being named is also still up in the air, but Darlington will be a great addition, regardless of position, to the OU staff. If you have read his write-ups on this site, you can instantly figure out that he is very sharp and knows the game.

Darlington is yet another young addition, along with Eric Striker, to the Sooners staff. When his position is set in stone and confirmed, TFB will let you all know. – (Brandon)
