Back in the April 10th Open Post, we mentioned that the Sooners were hoping to take two running backs in this class.

Well, they’ve got their second.

2018 RB, Tavion Thomas (Dayton, OH) has committed to Oklahoma.

Thomas plays both ways but the Sooners like him at running back. At a listed 6’2, 225 lbs, he’s one of the bigger backs you will come across. It’s easy to think that he’s all thunder, but Thomas has fantastic feet and change of direction.

Now, Thomas tells us he has yet to visit OU but says he will soon. When I asked what led to the commitment sight unseen, he said, “The legacy of the running backs there and I just really think I fit there.”
