We’re not even to the season yet, but already the nation knows that several Sooners are worth watching this fall. The Maxwell Award released its preseason watch list, with Kyler Murray and Rodney Anderson being included.

This list comes months after Baker Mayfield received the award last season. Mayfield, Jason White, and Tommy McDonald are previous Sooners to take home the award.
Murray, despite not being named starter yet, makes the list in the same summer that he was drafted to the MLB. Anderson had a slow start to the 2017 season, but was arguably one of the preeminent backs in the country for the back half of the season.
