Trey Carter Update

Talked to someone tonight and confirmed that Trey Carter will be visiting Oklahoma this weekend with his father. His father is a big influence. Also can tell y’all that A LOT of schools like Trey right now. OU has a chance to impress this weekend and it sounds like OSU is definitely up there for him as well. Trey has received a number offers recently (Miami, Arkansas, etc.). Can also tell y’all that Alabama is starting to show interest in Trey. They will be down to see him in early December and an offer from Bama may very well come at some point.
I’ll just remind y’all how high we’ve been on Trey. We’ve continually asked y’all to disregard his “star” rating from other sites. This kid is a player…very very very high ceiling kid. He is the kind of kid that can be a real difference maker on the D-line.
Trey does hold Oklahoma and Coach Montgomery in high regard. Hopefully Oklahoma can make a good impression.

I hope Monty can close the deal. This kid is definitely blowing up. Monty has been with the kid longer than anyone, hope it makes a difference. Bama would be hard to turn down, however.
We’ve been saying that Trey is one of the most important recruits for Oklahoma. I think if Bama does come through with the offer it’s not going to happen till December so if Oklahoma can make a good impression that should go a long way. Trey is a tremendous kid and tremendous athlete.
Me too man. He’s the most important recruit for this class in our opinion. I’m really hoping we can flip Jovan Pruitt as well.
