Trey Carter Note: Will not be Visiting this Weekend (Updated)

Standout DLineman Trey Carter will NOT be visiting Oklahoma this weekend. Instead, they are looking to bring him in sometime in January if possible.
Update: It was Oklahoma’s decision to delay Trey Carter’s trip. We do know the reason for the delay, however we are not able to comment on it at this time.

This is a big disappointment. Why the change? This kid needs to be a sooner now!
What I can tell you is this has nothing do with lack of talent. Coach Montgomery likes him A LOT.

lol I think there will be good news from Orso this weekend. At least I’m hoping. As far as Trey goes I’m pretty limited in what I can divulge. But he’s definitely not coming.

Well the plan is for him to visit MSU but that isn’t certain. It’s something in the works.
So since you are asking me to read between the lines. It seems that Carter has said he will not be coming to OU and has decided to try MSU. Which means he has SEC offers and that’s the conference he wants to play in. Am I in the ballpark?
Thanks for the comment Daryl. We certainly aren’t asking anyone to read between the lines and we aren’t trying to intentionally hide information or be secretive. We have a lot of information but we try to respect the players and OU and not share everything. I understand why you’d assume Trey would want to play in the SEC but as we posted in the update, the decision to delay Trey’s trip to Oklahoma was made by OU. Thanks again for reading our site bud!

Why would OU delay Carter? This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
