A source has confirmed that OU QC assistant and former defensive backs GA, Chip Viney has accepted the defensive backs coaching position at the University of Nevada.

As you all know, former OU wide receiver coach, Jay Norvell was recently hired as Nevada’s head coach.

Viney was known as a great recruiter for the Sooners. All the best to him.
