OK, Michigan, ahead of OU? That’s just stupid. You can make an argument for pretty much every other team above them in one way or another. You just can’t make a reasonable argument that UM is the better program. It’s just not realistic.

Then Okie State selected before Clemson, Penn State, South Carolina, Miami, Tennessee, Nebraska, VT and Michigan State? These analysts must like flashy uniforms too.

I agree with all those schools except for SC. SC and OSU have very close numbers.
      Osu: All-time record
      550–531–47 (.508), Conference titles
      3, Heisman winners
      1, and All Americans 14.
      SC: All-time record
      566–544–44 (.510), Conference Titles 2, Heisman winners 1, and All Americans 4.
SC is the OSU of the SEC. Nothing special up until recently.

Interesting… Hale might be needing to eat some crow soon.

I thought it was the dead period? If it is it doesn’t matter if he is on campus or not he can only talk to the coaches via phone & not in person.

I’m just asking but if you don’t like Hale what does it matter what he says. Why do you care enough to post about it this site. I know it’s open forum but you sound like a jilted boyfriend.

Does having the easiest schedule by default mean you’re the best team?! 😉

About the only one of these that’s a lock is #1 Alabama. After that Ohio State is more of a maybe. But Florida and Texas haven’t done anything for quite a while, and Notre Dame still looks like a work in progress. And Michigan? Don’t make me laugh. They were great once, but that seems like ages ago now. This list has far too much homerism….but I guess any reason to talk CFB 🙂

  • DCinAZ says:

Seems to me like sports journalists just work overtime tripping all over themselves in the offseason to create scenarios for their articles in which they can place Alabama at the top of. I can tell just by an article headline now that it will be about Alabama before I even open the link.
