BASKETBALL
Admittedly, I’m not the biggest NBA guy in the world. But they do still require dribbling, right?

If you look closely at Jeremy Lin, he does bounce the ball. However, he still takes 4 steps after that. Soooooo, still travelling lol.
4 steps, dribble, 4 steps, dribble. This is how my 8 YO daughter plays basketball. She usually misses the layup too.

Is this an inside or outside guy?
Watched his vid at utube and he looks like an “all over the place” kinda guy.
I think I only saw Wort make 2 tackles. It was kinda hard to tell for sure which one he was. You can tell he really loves the game, going from playing in Norman to playing on a field that is also used for soccer, and isn’t as nice as many high school fields.
It was kind of depressing for me to see that actually. Hope he’s happy, but sheesh.
I thought Linsanity was a joke. I wished him the best cause we all love the underdog story, but when Houston signed him for as much as they did, especially his 14 million or whatever in his last year I laughed. Besides the aquisition of Harden, the Rockets haven’t made a good management move in a hot minute. I don’t even view Dwight Howard as a good signing, he only hangs around a year, seems to create chemistry issues, and at the first sign of trouble gets the coach fired. But enough NBA…

Interesting Read on Sam Bradford. I felt bad for him and felt like the Rams never really bothered to help him out. With the number of coach’s and offensive coordinators that Bradford has gone through, it makes it tough because there has been little or no consistency. Let alone the line has been terrible. For the most part, the Rams seemed to focus on the defense when it comes to the draft and free agency but totally ignore the offensive line. Bradford has taken more hit’s than Rocky Balboa, since he came into the league. I think the Ram’s messed with him so much, it’s going to be tough for him to trust himself and his coach’s.
The article on Bradford… I realize the quarterback is the NFL’s most common scapegoat, but the author was laying it on thick for a guy under the center of an offense where nearly every other guy is underwhelming. Every GIF the man employed showed Sam getting destroyed because rushing against St. Louis’ oline is like a five yard dash track event. I guess I’m biased towards my favorite recent sooner quarterback…
Exactly. I’ve seen every Rams game of Sam’s career and he is not the problem. He’s already a great QB (you won’t find a QB in this draft with his timing and accuracy) and that is why Fisher and Snead are committed to them. They also don’t have room on the roster for a QB drafted that high. I agree about the play calling, though, it’s awful and has been hurting them. Hopefully they draft some help at OL and WR and Schottenheimer can start calling the right plays.
It would have been nice for them to have a veteran blue collar wide out like an anquan boldin the last few years. Someone who could teach all their young wideouts how to progress in the nfl and also to help Bradford with the leadership on offense. He’s had no help in that regard and it was a lot to ask of Stephen Jackson who had never been a part of a winning team.
Yeah, poor Jackson spent most of his career on one of the worst teams and the league (and was still a beast). I agree, the Rams have been young at WR for a while. Hopefully Kenny Britt comes through and they can also grab a young playmaker at WR in the draft, there are a lot of them this year, I think.
All I see is Bradford running for his life every time the ball is snapped. I wish the Rams would cut him so he can go somewhere that’s more serious about winning.
I completely agree; from the article it doesn’t sound like the St Louis coaching staff wants to change anything. There are teams in desperate need of a QB out there, such as Minnesota, where Bradford could go and win games.
It would kill me to see Sam in Viking purple, but for Sam’s own good, I’d tolerate it. I mean, they have AD, already, and I’ve survived. LoL
On the NFL up and down list, that cat doesn’t list Demarco Murray on the boom list. Seriously?

Can someone please translate that tweet-speak for me. ‘nun’ It appears to be positive.
Fun?
translation: “there’s nothing like having OU, one of the best programs in history, recruit you.”
Is it mandatory to give up the English language when you begin tweeting?
That started long before Twitter. How about when Texting was first introduced.
Yet another form of communication I refuse to use.
