Watched the game last night. Seems the Jags may be much improved this year. I think Bortles is going to be a good QB in the future. He made some good throws last night. It was good seeing Flemming and Hurst out there.
Do it RB! I really hope people get to see just how special he is.
Megatron, RB and Tate, that is a fantastic WR corps.
What week do they begin roster cuts? I don’t keep up enough to remember.
August 26 (First roster cuts)
Prior to 4:00 p.m. (eastern) clubs must reduce their rosters to a maximum of 75 players on the active list.
August 30 (Final roster cuts)
Prior to 4:00 p.m. (eastern) clubs must reduce rosters to a maximum of 53 players on the active/inactive List.
Who is the player you most want to see have a great night
I have to go with Ryan with Clay and Finch tied for second
Finch may be the guy who needs it most, reports I’ve seen are he could be on the cut bubble. And every game our guy Broyles plays and leaves healthy allows me to breathe a sigh of relief.
I love that Hurst has played well both weeks. I thought he was most under appreciated DB in Stoops era. I think the guys that needs a good night this week is Saunders. Finch filled stat sheet last week.
Hurst isn’t even on the depth chart the Bears released before camp. not sure if he didn’t put in the work in offseason or what, but I’m glad he’s played well and hope he sticks
Slinging Sammy and Ryan B.
All of them! They’re Sooners! lol
Tress Way is the man!
I’ve said this before but not here. Justin Brown will be the better pro between him and Kenny Stills.
Hmmmm……..not sure I’m on board with that one. Stills looks pretty smooth out there. Making it look easy in the big easy……
Just my opinion, and time will tell.
I like Brown, but Stills is fluid and natural, more innate talent. Stills has earned Brees trust and will have an excellent career.
I want to see Cory Nelson made the squad. The guy has talent and never was able to make it in his prime in college because of his injury, he was on the cusp.
Nelson also kind of got screwed the previous year, the way we made the LB position disappear on our defense.

a really nice stat line for roy finch. hope he sticks with the pats.
Yeah. I didn’t watch the game, but those stats are pretty good. Hope it’s enough.
The Pats have always liked little backs with quicks so my prediction is, he makes the team.
I think he will stick and star in the Kevin Faulk role there for a long time.
I always thought t was odd that teams always kicked off to Finch instead of to Clay, as this long off season has drug on, I’ve been rewatching games (like most I’m sure). I’ve noticed more times than not Finch would take the wrong lane. I wonder if this is maybe why he wasn’t as big a part of the offense the last four years. Thoughts?
Saw finch play on nfl network. Great running and catching but just like at OU, missed blocking assignments, one that led to a sack.
Watching Dallas/ Baltimore preseason. Demarco is incredible. As a point of reference, CJ Moseley now starts for the ravens and in the Sugar Bowl he looked like one of the fiercest athletes. Against Murray though he got stiff armed like a kid. Barely hung on as he almost got hurdled on another. Murray has had years to get strong in the NFL, but it is interesting to contrast the kind of athlete we used to have in the 2000s (and hopefully will have again). Go Sooners!
Hanna with a nice catch and run for a TD!
Landry is really struggling. Wish him the best, but not looking good.
At various Steelers fan sites, they are ripping into LJ with a ferocity that is usually reserved for terrible starting QBs, not 3rd stringers.
Wish he could go to the Broncos and learn from a great pocket passer.
Man, OL prospects have to be aware of how many linemen OU has put into the NFL recently and that these guys are playing….a lot. Come on J. Barnett, be part of the fraternity of NFL O. linemen. BOOMER!!
I’m not sure if it’s because all of the attention towards Bradford not throwing downfield or what. But he doesn’t seem to throw it downfield very often. I’m not sure if that’s just limited throws on this day, if it’s the offense he runs, if that’s common for all NFL QB’s, or what. A lot if people are saying it’s one of his issues, should make for a good completion percentage though!
It’s their offense. Their OC is terrible at play calling, he doesn’t call long plays, and they’ve never really had a deep threat.
