BOOMER
SOONER!!!
I didn’t see the Saints game. What gives with Hartley going 1-3?
As I scrolled down that immediately caught my attention. Bad day for sure. Glad to see Jefferson getting action this year.
Missed a 26 yarder and had a 36 yd attempt blocked.
It’s very unusual for him to miss a 26 yarder.
That hurry, compliments of Mr. Jefferson, was what forced Fitzpatrick to throw that pick in overtime. I live in Nashville and am forced to watch the crappy Titans, but was looking for Jefferson, and was glad to see he had such an impacting hit. T.J. had actually made contact with Fitzpatrick, which forced his throw to be off.
Glad to see him getting into games and not just on special teams.
I was honestly unsure if he’d ever see the field outside of maybe special teams in the league. Things really didn’t seem to be aligning well for him around draft time.
Murray has got to be frustrated… Having a breakout season IMO and the Cowboys are headed toward another 8-8 season
At least he’ll stay healthy.
The significance of that cannot be overstated; he was quickly headed to everyone’s “injury-prone bust” list it seemed
Ditto. How the cowboys abandoned the run…facepalm. Murray could’ve closed out a big day.
Former Sooners starting 4 OT in NFL, including 2 of best in Trent, Lane. Loadholt & Stephenson no slacks either. How we have any trouble recruiting OT is beyond me.
With the change in regime at ol coach, I’d think this will change quickly. Opposing coaches can say that B wasn’t the coach of any of these guys, but given time, it’ll change. If we go out and mash on Bama, that’ll be easy to change. This could be a huge recruiting game for us up front on both sides.
whoa nelly, i can’t wait to watch this game. nice job on gettin jordan over here. he seems like a stand up dude..potty mouth..haha..but stand up dude. seems like he’ll fit in well with you fellas
Yeah, we really want to surround ourselves with like-minded people. Jordan’s a nice addition.
Great to see this stuff again, What up Pit & East
Not much, surfing around trying to get my Sooner fix for the day.
Been reading here since word got out about Jordo landing here, just registered, trying to get a feel for the mojo here.
I’ve been reading here for a month or so, but just started commenting. The guys writing here are straight up legit and have some excellent insight. Very refreshing.
I only see two downsides. 1. The format for the comment section is lacking considerably. 2. The focus is primarily football, meaning we’ll have to keep shopping around for other OU sports. However, there is something to be said for doing one thing and doing it well.
Don’t just assume both will continue to be the case. Might require some patience, but there are plans. Just know that.
Great to see you again Jordan, I know you have the ability to fine tune some stuff here to make it the bomb. Hope you seen all the love you got next door.
I definitely have and I appreciate it more than you all will ever know.
That’s great news!
…now, if only there was a podcast. ( ;
… do I smell another SBN affiliation..
I agree that the insight here is top notch. Love the recruiting stuff and I don’t mind the all football menu, that’s my main gig and there are plenty of places to get sports info in general. I’m noticing I have to click on new posts or comments, is that just how it is?
Yeah, I believe that’s the only option.
Ray, that’s one of the things we want to fix. We want to get it to where it’s much easier to navigate for sure.
East,
thanks man.
We’re going to go through a rebuild after the first of the year. We didn’t have any idea that this thing would become as popular as it has. We’ve got a ton of suggestions submitted, so feel free to submit any ideas you have. We want to make it as good for our readers as it can be. Football is our niche though. It’s what we know.
McCoy has been balling.
He was dominant for us in 2009. Man that guy could impact a game.
Unfortunately, after last weeks tough showing against St Louis, Harley was released today.
Unfortunately, after last weeks tough performance against St. Louis, Hartley was released today.
Tough going, it’s been up and down this year for him. The Saints brought in 5 kickers for trials in the last couple of weeks but stuck with him in the end, so you cannot say the writing wasn’t there. Wacky world of kicking…let’s hope he gets picked up somewhere.
Was just going to post this same thing. Thanks for doing that and getting it out there even if it’s bad news for one of our former Sooners.
