  • Jeff says:

    A commitment today?

  • EasTex says:

Coach Gasso is truly a class act.
I’ll never forget how she handled the disappointment of losing in the championship to Bama and how they came back and won it the next year against the Vols.

  • Malicong says:

Any word on what the NCAA violations are concerning Klemm? My immidiate thought was if it involved Wariboko.

    • EasTex says:

UCLA is “self-reporting” the infraction/s and only rumors exist right now.
One rumor I saw was he took several recruits our for dinner and a Clippers game during the dead period. Sounds like UCLA is trying to get out ahead of something that could be damaging.

  • Glocal Sooner says:

That’s cool. Loved the video on the tourney prep. I love that behind the scenes stuff. Thank you guys so much for bringing us the inside scoop when you can.

    • John Garner says:

Yeah, the video was great. Again you don’t see this kind of coverage at the paysites.

  • Jeremy Phillips says:

Will TFB be having an NCAA bracket challenge?

    • Jordan Esco says:

I don’t believe so, but K can correct me if that’s not the case.

    • boomersooner says:

I’m sure somebody that knows how to do it could set up a “league” or “group” or whatever on CBS or ESPN or some such. And I think you would then have a password or something that could be posted on here. Ready? 1…2…3…not it

Sounds fun tho if someone were so inclined to set it up

  • Eric Hoffpauir says:

Anyone else still having problems with not getting updates on TFB? I’m not seeing that there are any comments on this post for example.

  • Jeremy Phillips says:

TFB bracket pool for bragging rights. Password is BoomSoon

    • boomersooner says:

      awesome. thank you brother

    • Dustin says:

Tried not to be a homer but that East bracket sets up well for OU to make a run.

      • Jeremy Phillips says:

I agree, OU couldn’t have asked for a better bracket, i pushed them into the Elite 8…

        • j l says:

I got em losing in the 2nd to providence. probably not a popular opinion around here(to say the least LOL), but just kinda fits this team.
          Hoping im wrong.

          • boomersooner says:

yeah you’ve got a good point. since kruger took over, he’s had awesome teams, but they seem to rely on 3’s a lot. if they’re hot and stay hot, they could get to the final four maybe even championship game. if not, they could possibly lose to albany, or providence. i think talent alone should get us to the sweet 16 and then i think uva will be too much for us. that’s how i see, but you could be right. providence is pretty good

          • Dustin says:

Watching CBSSN’s March Madness Special, one of their analysts said it best: “The Sooners can beat anyone in the country. And they can lose to anyone in the country.”

          • boomersooner says:

yeah. i’m just glad we’re not on the list of obvious upsets like we have been in the past, such as last yr. we seem to be one of the teams that one of the prognosticators will pick for his “i just wanted to say i told you so” picks

          • Mr. Jones says:

I’m glad we’re no where near San Diego St.

          • Dustin says:

It’s only because we’re a 3 seed. If we were a 4, we would be on everyone’s upset list.

          • boomersooner says:

haha. funny, but a good point. they’ve mentioned it but not as one that’s a “stone cold lock…call us now for the lock of the tournament”

          • j l says:

We absolutely have the talent to make a run, IF we play smart. As you said, cant just rely on the outside game, let our bigs do their thing, and we can do some damage.

Our lack of bench scoring also worries me. Cant expect 5 guys to carry the entire load for 6 games.

Providence might be the toughest 6 seed out there, definitely a tough matchup in the 2nd.

        • Dustin says:

          Final Four Baby!!!

          • boomersooner says:

            losing to duke or gonzaga?

          • Sooner_Ace says:

            ‘zags on mine

          • Dustin says:

I got the Zags going down early

          • boomersooner says:

yeah, duke’s young. so its good they got the 1 seed, so they can get their feet wet with a 16 and then they get a test with sd st. really good 1st wknd for em, if they get thru it, to set them up for the final 4. i would really love to see the irish knock off uk, az beat wisc, us beat nova, and either duke or zags and us to beat az for the title. would be some sweet matchups, even if its uva and not us

        • KellyB says:

Biggest question mark in my mind is their Bench which hasn’t scored much at all this season. If they can step up then look out

    • Sooner_Ace says:

      kudos

    • Malicong says:

I’m in. Should be fun. Thanks for doing this.

  • Dustin says:

I could watch Tyson all day long.

  • kokevo says:

Anyone on here heard of Nick Rollins from Bixby hes a rb but will most likely be a fb if he goes to college I just watched his highlights he was like a bowling ball going through kids.

  • JaysSooners says:

Just got my tickets to the men’s BB game in Columbus Friday night!!! We’re pumped! OUr team will have at least 2 people there wearing the crimson and cream and cheering them on!

  • Dr. Sooner says:

Jordan or K… Would one of y’all check out the Hudl on Ostin McPherson, RB out of Mobile, AL. Same high school as AJ McCarron, Mark Barron, Tre Williams, Josh Casher, Chevis Jackson, Jacob Coker, Jake Peavy….. Kid is a superstar!

  • EasTex says:

Watching the last ten minutes of the BYU-UM game and it is wild. Both teams refuse to lose.
