Devwah Whaley: Chatted briefly with 2016 running back target & OU offer Devwah Whaley last night. He let us know that he is planning to take three trips this summer. He will visit Arkansas, Georgia, and make a return trip to Oklahoma. He didn’t say the exact visit dates, but did say it will be ‘early in the summer.’ The fact he will be taking a second trip to Norman certainly sounds promising for the Sooners. – (Super K)

Bryce Youngquist: 2016 LB Bryce Youngquist is another prospect the Sooners are expecting a visit from this summer. I caught up with Youngquist recently, who confirmed he expects to be in Norman later this month. He told TFB that Tim Kish and Dennis Simmons have been recruiting him very hard. He has an unofficial Top 5 of OU, Oregon, Arizona State, Washington State & Wisconsin. He says he will use all five of his official visits and plans on announcing his commitment after his senior season.

Youngquist is exactly what the Sooners need on defense. He’s comfortable in space, between the tackles, and/or coming off the edge. He plays with great pad level, but doesn’t appear mechanical. He has good length, excellent downhill acceleration, and change of direction. But also looks like he could play a ‘Tampa 2’ technique if you asked him to. Really appears to be an excellent linebacker prospect that could play in multiple schemes, but in my opinion looks tailor-made for a 4-2-5. Perhaps my favorite aspect of his game is his patience. When he makes his read, he can slip through the trash and close quickly.

This is the type of athlete Oklahoma really needs to start bringing in again at the linebacker position, especially in a league like the Big 12 where so much is asked of that particular position. One thing you don’t always see is testing numbers that actually translate to the field or vice versa. In the case of Youngquist, however, he plays fast but also has the numbers and measurables behind that. His SPARQ verified height and weight are 6’2″ (without shoes) 210 pounds. He ran a blazing 4.54 SPARQ verified laser 40 and posted a verified shuttle of 4.09, along with a 38 inch vertical. I cannot begin to tell you how incredible those numbers are for a young man just out of his junior year. – (Super K)

Ashton Julious: During Bob Stoops’ tenure the Sooners have had success recruiting JUCO offensive linemen. Be it Stocker McDougle, Dionte Savage, Phil Loadholt or Lane Johnson just to name a few, many have gone on to have solid careers not just in Norman but playing on Sundays as well.

Bill Bedenbaugh is hoping to continue along that type of tradition with one of his more recent offers to 2016 OG Ashton Julius (6’8″ 330 – Scranton, PA). We had a chance to catch up with Julious recently to try and get a feel for where his recruitment currently stands.

Julious told TFB that he and Bedenbaugh speak on a regular basis and that he really likes OU. With offers from schools like West Virginia, Baylor, OU, Illinois, Arizona State and NC State, he has no shortage of options. But he was up front in telling TFB the Sooners are one of his top schools and is planning to visit at some point during the season. – (Brandon)

Team News: Nothing really specific here but just wanted to pass along a note from a friend, who recently commented to me on the current vibe inside the OU program. I know there is a lot of cynicism right now but with the new players coming in, it’s always nice to remember that every year there is a bit of a fresh start. And it sounds like the coaches feel that way as well.

My friend said that, in general, there’s some excitement around the program with the new players reporting. They also said the coaches and players are “pumped and it feels like a clean slate.” They went on to say, “with a new offense and really a new defense everyone is hungry to learn and practice…there is no complacency right now and everyone is going to be fighting each other for playing time.”

I know it’s perhaps something you hear every year, but a little sunshine in what’s been a little bit of a cloudy past few months can’t hurt. – (Super K)

Work Opportunity | Play-by-Play: Wanted to pass along a note for anyone who might have some experience doing play-by-play. Had a gentleman from iCB Live reach out to us about an opening they have this coming fall. Here is the work description and we have been told it does pay:

inCommand Broadcasting is looking for play by play talent for fall football games in the Oklahoma City and Surrounding markets. Games will be broadcast on the internet as well as local TV affiliates in the Oklahoma City area. We are in need of crews to work in the Northwest Arkansas area as well. Candidate should have Play by Play experience in either Radio or TV and be willing to Work Fridays throughout the 11 week fall football season. Please email any sound clips, headshot photo and resume with your contact information to [email protected] this posting.

– UPDATE (Fri., 5:06 pm): Sooners have offered 2016 ATH Jayvaughn Myers (6’1″ 175 – Dade City, FL).

– UPDATE (Fri., 5:11 pm): Evidently OU was hosting 2016 JUCO offensive lineman Tate Leavitt (6’6″ 315 – Hutchinson, KS) today.

    First…

  • Randy says:

Would love to land all 3 of these guys… Talented and positions of need.

  • Super K says:

OU needs to land Bryce! Would be a huge get IMO!

    • Jordan Esco says:

Who do you have a bigger man crush on right now – Younquist or Dalton Wood?

      • Randy says:

Wood could have been a game changer on defense.

        • hemisooner says:

IMO I disagree. Better with the ball in his hands.

          • Randy says:

Maybe, but I think we will have a easier time finding skill guys in this offense. Harder to find defensive playmakers.

          • SavageSoonerEsq says:

He is obviously talented with the ball in his hands, however I can’t imagine him seeing much playing time with the studs we have on offense. Regardless, I hope he makes it to campus and is given a shot to start at the position that will help the team the most.

          • hemisooner says:

I think Andrews is going to be legit. Carson is more a traditional TE, can he flex out. yes but not like Dalton Wood. I think if Dalton does come back to OU he will be successful as that flex TE. think of the Taco Tech Amaro.

          • Fear The Magic says:

I see Dalton as a DE if he ever makes it here that is.

        • Jordan Esco says:

          Still may be

        • Krys Allen says:

So did he end up making it to campus or not?

          • Randy says:

            No idea.

          • Sooner 76 says:

Apparently–and I emphasize the word–he made it and then left the next day. It is my understanding that the players are not required to be present until the first day of fall class. Reporting last Sunday was if they wanted to start summer school Monday and have their schollies start on Monday.

      • SoonerGray says:

Easy answer….any LB last named Kelly. Closely followed by future Heisman winner Optimus Perine!

      • Jeff says:

He has wood for a player that may never play at OU

      • Paul Warfield says:

In all due respect to Wood….the kid is making a mistake if he doesn’t get it together and choose to play college football. I don’t say that because I root for Oklahoma on Saturdays….I say that because he has NFL skills and has the opportunity to earn a lot of money during his twentys. The kid is a similar talent to Austin Seferian-Jenkins…who was a top 40 NFL draft pick.

        • Jordan Esco says:

You’ll get no disagreement from me on any of that. I’m just trying to avoid making his situation more about what a fan, like myself, believes would be the smartest decision versus whatever he may feel is best.

WHICH IS NOT to imply that’s what you’re doing. I’m simply speaking more so in general terms and the majority of incredibly insulting and, IMO, reprehensible things I’ve read people say about this kid and his family on one particular OU message board.

          • rphokc says:

one of those fork-in-the-road decisions that he’ll look back on later in life and be comfortable with or ‘I really f’d up’………wish him well

          • Jordan Esco says:

I think it’s fair to say we’ve all been there at one point or another in our own respective lives. I know there are some things I’d go back and do differently now that I have a little more perspective.

          • Sooner 76 says:

Exactly. Who has/had wisdom at such a young age. Certainly not me.

        • ND52 says:

JMHO but no guy needs a steady gf until after college. It’s emotional stress and distraction that you just don’t need while you’re trying to find your way in life.

    • hemisooner says:

I like that kid. Great film. No wasted motion and nice change of direction

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

Add Caleb Kelly and Dontavious Jackson and that would be a heck of a LB core for this class

      • hOUligan says:

Kelly and Jackson 1 and 1A. Youngquist or Michael Divinity out of Lousiana. Have to save a ‘ship for Bundage, too.

    • Boomer15 says:

I was pumped hearing he will take a visit so I went and checked out a few things. Much to my dismay, I found an article dated with today’s date in the “Oregonian” where he states “90% chance” he commits to Oregon when asked if his recruitment was done he replied “almost, almost, yeah”.

He did also mention that he would still visit OU and Wisconsin: “I just plan on visiting schools out in the Midwest that offered me,” he explained. “Once I see those schools, I’ll get a real good feel of what I really am going to decide – most likely Oregon. There’s no other campus I’ve seen that’s even like that.”

So there’s that unfortunately or maybe fortunately that he is at least visiting, all depends how you look at it I suppose.

  • Andy Sundborg says:

    That dude is huge

  • Randy says:

I would like to see all the true LB recruits that commit and make it to campus work at ILB then work their way outside if that is what is best. Bolton working inside is huge, thought he would be a outside guy for sure. Him and T Evans will be special. Will McGinnis start inside or strictly a outside guy ?

    • Sooner 76 says:

Not certain, but I see McGinnis as an ILBer, but he could move to the outside on passing downs.

      • Randy says:

I am hoping he is inside. Like his feet and pop there. Would love to see these guys be able to do both only helps.

    • JD says:

Like 76 said, The Hulk said they like him inside on running plays and outside on passing plays…Both Tay and Bolton look more flexible to handle coverage across the middle. This is a passing league so you have to take that into consideration

      • hOUligan says:

This sounds right and is in line with some post-camp evals I read re: McGinnis. The Louisiana staff worked him hard inside on pass coverage and Chavis was not convinced enough to offer the story goes. A lot of upset fans there and a reason McGinnis also did not choose aTm after Chavis went there.

  • SoonerGray says:

    330#…..bwwwahahahaah

  • soonermusic says:

Seems to me that while there are exceptions to the rule, experience is a key and maybe the key to strong years defensively. (Same could be said for O-line.) From what I’ve observed, the ability to see things, understand what you’re seeing, and above all communicate at D1 speed appears to be learned more through experience than anything else. Because of that, I think there’s a good chance many will be pleasantly surprised with the defensive results this year.

    • SamSooner says:

      I agree.

    • Slim Sooner says:

I think you’re right on all counts. I prefer to look forward to improved defense results and a renewed explosive offense. Just want to win the first game then every game after that one at a time, improving each step along the way to #8. Might as well think big.

  • Jordan Esco says:

My initial inclination is this will probably be like a Top 5 or something and, thus, decidedly not “HUGE” but I suppose we’ll find out here shortly. Sooners 2017 OL offer, btw (if you weren’t already aware).

fyi, the place named best burger in Sarasota is here: http://www.square1burgers.com/menu

Take a close look at the menu.

Normanhigh, I fly home for every game and usually have an extra seat for the game. Maybe you should join me some time.

      • John Garner says:

That’s great! I would definitely order a Double Bacon Boomer Sooner!

        • SoonerinLondon says:

There are a few Sooner references on the menu and a few pics from Norman hanging in the restaurant. The owner of the chain is a Sooner.

I didn’t know that when I first went to the place. Sarasota magazine ranked it best burger in Sarasota, so I went by to give it a try and couldn’t believe what I saw…damn good burgers, too.

          • godman says:

I’ll have to check it too. Thanks. There’s a lot of good restaurants around Sarasota so it must be good.

      • SamSooner says:

          • SamSooner says:

Okay, I think I’m going to have to break down and get mine. However, in Ohio, most of the Sooner names are taken. I did get creative and come up with S00NERS. The Os are zeros.

      • PLAW0720 says:

I moved to Bradenton in 1990 and spent most of the decade there. Headed to Sarasota later this summer to visit in-laws and will make it to Square 1 for sure. Boomer!

I’m in Florida also (Sarasota area). Love Florida but miss the Oklahoma people! I see signs of sooner fans around and about. Love it.

    • SamSooner says:

      Represent, then.

There are a ton of Sooner fans in Ohio. At least two: Exiled and myself. Just kidding. I see Sooner fans all the time in Ohio. When I went to the Cincinnati game, there were just as many Sooner fans and Bearcat fans.

      • ohiosoonerdevildog says:

I resent being left out of the Sooners fans in Ohio!

          • SamSooner says:

          • ohiosoonerdevildog says:

I’ll be nowhere neat the Shoe. Too many rude and ignorant suckeye fans. I’ve seen them throw condoms full of pee on opposing fans. And I’m talking grown men in their 30’s and above.

          • SamSooner says:

            Wow!

I certainly hope that doesn’t happen. But every time I’ve gone, I gone as a Buckeye fan. My uncle is a Buckeye fan. We go every year. I can’t miss the OU game.

          • ohiosoonerdevildog says:

Yeah I’ve been once. Saw all that happen, now I detest anything blowhio state

You will find this site very informative. So informative, in fact, you won’t realize that you don’t go anywhere else for news.

The Mods are great. They interact with the posters. A lot of posters are in the-know. They share what they can. While there are some knuckle heads, this is not like most sites: everyone hear is respectful of other’s opinions.

      Enjoy the ride.

I think I mentioned this before, but Soonersports used to have an archive video section with interviews with Sooner greats. The one with the three Selmon brothers sitting around the table talking was great. They were bright and very charming guys. Hearing them, particularly Lucious, tell the story of Lacewell coming down to recruit them was priceless. Wish the video was still available.

  • Barry Duren says:

Interesting team news but it is hard not to be skeptical. We’ve heard that for years now. How the attitude is different, how everyone is working hard, how unified the team is. I’ll wait and see the product on the field, but I do appreciate the dose of optimism during pessimistic times.

    • SamSooner says:

You have to take into consideration how the season played out. If the team is still optimistic and has a great attitude, that is really impressive. Despite all the set backs and disappointments, the team has remained focused.

That’s very difficult to do when your road to success is always under construction.

I don’t know about you but that’s very good news to me. The team has not packed it in. That’s speaks to the great leadership from the coaching staff and leadership from the players. They still believe.

      • Barry Duren says:

Could be Sam. But the same could be said before last year. That didn’t work out. Of course it is better than hearing they have phoned it in, but if adversity comes early we will see how sold out they are.

Amen to that. My dad enlisted after graduation into Oklahoma’s 45th Infantry Division. He was sent to Europe after D-Day.

The GI Bill enabled him to get a chemistry degree from OU and then from the OU School of Medicine. The GI Bill and working as a janitor for 10 cents an hour.

Can’t get enough D-Day shows.. Or story’s of my papaw landing on Omaha beach… Could never imagine being through something like that myself…

      • EasTex says:

        God Bless your Pappaw.
My Dad, his friends and co-workers, many of my teachers and Sunday School teachers were all WWII vets. Good men and some you could tell bore the weight of their emotional scars.
When the movie “The Longest Day” first came to our only movie theater we couldn’t help noticing one of the men we knew sobbing quietly in the back, he had endured D-Day to VE Day.

        • Jeremy Phillips says:

And God bless you & yours…

        • Sooner 76 says:

Great, great movie. I also read the book. Great read and the movie was taken directly from the book.

Omaha Beach is on my bucket list.

          • blaster1371 says:

Mine too. Unfortunately it looks nothing like it did on D-Day. The bluffs were bulled dozed to make more inroads. What I want to do is go to Omaha Beach wade out about thigh deep, and turn and face the beach- just to,see it from that angle.

        • Eric Hoffpauir says:

I had a few family members in World War II. None of them would talk about what they did or saw, except for my grandfather once when he got drunker than usual. He usually only told stories about his friends goofing off to pass the time.

I recommend you read the book called D-Day by Steven Ambrose (same author that wrote Band of Brothers) and then follow that up with his book Citizen Soldier. His D-Day book gives some of the command and strategy perspective but much of it is ground-level story from captains on down to the privates. Citizen Soldier is if that same variety and gives a great perspective of what the soldiers experienced. It will come closest to learning what you grand father experienced that I could think of. Both books are an easy read and unfolds more like a story than a history textbook.

        • Jeremy Phillips says:

That sounds like great fathers day gifts for my dad..!

        • EasTex says:

Dr. Ambrose has been a personal hero of mine for many years. It was he that spent 20 years from idea to the opening of the National D-Day Museum in NOLA. Funny thing is he was not a WWII trained historian, his was the War Between the States, it was a personal call from Eisenhower and a visit with the former President when he first became interested in WWII.
The museum is built on the same site as the Higgins Boat Works.

An English teacher that many of my AP US History students have requires them to do a book report (non-fictional). When they come to me for ideas I let them borrow my Ambrose books, Flags of our Father, McCain “Faith of our Fathers” and many others that now includes Lone Survivor. Saddest thing I ever heard a student say when returning my book after they were finished with it asked “do we still have men like these in our country?” I told him perhaps he would one day be among them. Breaks my heart that todays history course have purposely down played this aspect of our history and the crusade against anything violent (the kind that embraces a man’s role of protector and fighter) is being removed from society as if to attempt to feminize our boys and make them softer. These lads are absolutely starved for heroes and men they can look up to and emulate (beyond their dads) and measure themselves against.

          • EasTex says:

Thus the massive appeal and success of “American Sniper.” People want and look up to real heroes.

            Thanks.

Yep, last weekend I pulled out my Band of Brothers Blu-Ray set and played from beginning to end. Excellent mini-series made by HBO, directed by Hanks and Spielberg.

Sad thing is there are only above a dozen pictures of the landings at Omaha Beach as the bag containing most of the film shot that day fell into the water when being handed from one landing craft to the ship that was going to take it back to England to be developed.

any idea if sooners are still in play for Greg Little??

    • EasTex says:

Live stream is up and good quality.
      Players are taking the field.

      • Daddy R says:

Its pretty cool seeing many of the kids OU was in on, and the one we end up with, compete with each other..

        • hOUligan says:

OU was in on what…5 of those other invites? And a kid can have a great 1 day camp or just not ‘be on’ that day so can’t tell definitively who is going to have the best career. Would still be interesting to watch. Any updates as to who the top performers were?

          • Daddy R says:

No updates from me, but I am going to try and catch some of this second workout.. And yea, its hard to tell too much, but still fun to see. These camps are great, but they certainly dont guarantee anything.

      • Daddy R says:

Shane Buechele’s aunt just said they all thought he was headed to OU, and he surprised them all by choosing UT.

        • EasTex says:

          Yep.
It doesn’t bother me, considering who we got.

          • Daddy R says:

Oh no, me either. Just thought it was interesting… Though I missed the early competition, so how’d Kendall look?

          • EasTex says:

Was on and off and didn’t see him. Lots of yackity-yak from the announcer, though.
I wonder what the Deweaver kid did that got him his auto-invite to the Elite 11 finals.

          • Daddy R says:

Think they just said he was the one who stood out the most from the morning session.

    • Wolfdog says:

I’m really excited about this kid

    • Daryl says:

Didn’t get to watch a ton but hardly steamy thing from Kendall. But what I did see from Duke’s QB commit was impressive.

  • Tom Turman says:

Is it too early to argue over which quarterback will be throwing the ball to Sebastian Broyles in 2033?

  • Fear The Magic says:

Any word on how Austin Kendall is doing at the Elite 11?

    • EasTex says:

I’m disappointed with the stream, very little actual action on the field. Mostly lots of blather from the host and his guests with the players running around in the background.

      • Fear The Magic says:

ok thanks Tex. Guess we’ll find out soon enough

        • EasTex says:

They just had Kendall on for about 5 seconds, then back to yacking.

          • Daddy R says:

So watching for over two hours and I missed it!? figures. Yea, all they are doing is talking, talking, talking, and more talking, with no real footage of the actual competition.

        • EasTex says:

They just talked up Kendall, especially his accuracy and mental ability. The analyst claimed Kendall is the type of QB that serves as a point guard, makes quick decisions and can lead a team to big bowl games.

          • Fear The Magic says:

            Excellent!
Maybe Lon Krueger should take a look at him too.
            Thanks for the update

From the Scout board (usually the TFB stuff is copied over there but this is interesting) OU camp. He’s a 2016 kid. Anyone heard of him or seen him play?

And one to watch tomorrow is gonna be
Pflugerville Connally DB Xavier Lewis. This kid has a story to tell that
I’m hoping to do so Sunday. 6-2, 160 right now. He dominated Saturday
and had Zack Sanchez, Will Johnson, Steven Parker and Chip Viney keep
begging to give him more reps.

The opinion of the many, out weigh the opinion of the few. 🙂
I would like to take a consensus of opinions on how many days are left until our first game. I guess the question would be; When we get to Friday, the day before the game, would you consider 0 days left(since the day could be considered checked off), or 1 day left?

On that note, two greats to view.

    • EasTex says:

There was one #90 that shall remain unnamed.
I don’t know what the correct/official method for counting is. I would go with if it is less than 24 hrs before kick-off, it is 0 days.

      • BleedCrimson says:

I have a feeling that since it is a PPV game, it is going to be an evening game. But, havent seen a time as of yet.

        • EasTex says:

          It’s still listed as TBA.
I did the PPV last year and it was a glitchy mess, won’t do that again, not for Akron.

      • godman says:

I tend to think that if it is tomorrow, then it is the next day, thus one day away. As we pass the midnight mark, we enter the next day and then there are o days left till that day. It just doesn’t seem logical if the game starts tomorrow to say there are zero days left till the game starts. Haha I think the biblical Jewish day starts at a different time but we probably shouldn’t go there. LOL

    • Dustin says:

Today is Sunday. 1 day until Monday. I’m assuming that logic applies to the rest of the ol’ calendar.

      • BleedCrimson says:

Some would say that, some would say that there is less than 1 day until Monday. Neither answer is really a bad answer. Some folks are more technical than others.

        • Dustin says:

Well, if I still have to sleep before tomorrow, then tomorrow is 1 day away. This convo is giving me a headache.

    • EasTex says:

The #90 is interesting, hasn’t been worn by any legendary Sooners and currently isn’t assigned to any players on the roster, offense or defense. There are a number of young linemen that haven’t been assigned a number yet, though.

      • BleedCrimson says:

Interesting indeed with all of the greats we have had on the lines over the years.

      • SamSooner says:

I thought I saw a photo of a locker that had #90 assigned to Gallimore. I could be wrong, though.

    • RocketCitySooner says:

Since this is the anniversary weekend of the Normandy Invasion, I propose we adopt the D-Day convention. The day of the invasion was ‘D-Day’. The day before D-Day was D-Day minus one. For our purposes, we could call it “G-Day” for Game Day. The day prior to ‘G-Day’ is G-Day minus one or one day till Game Day. Friday would be one day till Game day, ie, one, Thursday would be two, etc.

      • BleedCrimson says:

I like your way of thinking.

        • RocketCitySooner says:

The wife is always wanting to count the days to a vacation with the day before being zero day. Says that means the vacation happens sooner.

I use the ‘wake-up’ system. The number of days to the vacation is how many ‘wake-ups’ till I depart. When I wake up on the departure day, there are no more ‘wake-ups’, so that is day zero. On the day before, since I still have one ‘wake-up’, that is day one.

Same result as the D-Day convention.

BTW, I really use her system since I’m too smart to argue with her.

          • BleedCrimson says:

Amen brother. Happy wife = happy life.

Don’t get me wrong. She doesn’t always win. I just like to pick my fights. After 25 years of marriage, I’m still waiting for the right time.

  • NebraskaSooner says:

There is a fairly long and very complementary article in this morning’s Lincoln paper on Nebraska’s most recent QB verbal, Del City’s Terry Wilson. Del City coach Nick Warehime is quoted regarding Nebraska “They got the best lineman in the state of OK last season. They have the best QB in the state of OK this season”. I have no opinion on that, don’t have any idea. It was a good read.

    • Dustin says:

      Negative on both counts, IMO.

    • EasTex says:

Rivals shows Gilkey out of Broken Arrow and Garrett out of Mustang as the two highest ranked QBs in OK. Wilson isn’t listed in the OK top ten recruits list and they are listed as 3 stars.
      https://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3545
Wilson is listed on Rivals as a 4 star. Interesting.

      • NebraskaSooner says:

Wow! Thanks for that, I can use it at coffee break tomorrow as this will come up.

      • Zack says:

That’s interesting I wonder if it’s because they think Wilson has more potential as a wr then? As far as which qb we get I like Austin kendall but we had a lot of success with Bradford (okc) and white (Tuttle). I wouldn’t mind taking an instate kid this year at qb.

        • NebraskaSooner says:

His HS coach says he runs a 22.1 200 and made finals at OK State Track. Also says that he is not just a dual threat QB, passed for 201 of 369, 2856 yds with 24 TDs and 10 ints his Jr year and is 6′ 3″, 195 lbs. and displays great leadership skills as that part come natural for him.

    • Zack says:

I don’t know all the circumstances but I hope it’s just that he doesn’t want to take part in voluntary workouts and enroll for summer courses. I wouldn’t blame him for that but I bet the wavering will stop soon and stoops will get him on campus this fall.

  • ccmosaic says:

Any word on how the OU camp is going? Not seeing any posts anywhere on the camp.

    • J J says:

I thought the one that just ended was for much younger kids. I could be wrong, they may have different ages, but all I’ve seen are like 3&4th grade ages. I know several families with kids there. Of course theirs ended ,Friday. That’s all I got.

  • SoonerinLondon says:

Watching Kristin Chenoweth host the Tony’s…what a great Sooner. Love it when she promotes the Sooners or trashes Texas. You can take girl out of Oklahoma, but can’t take Oklahoma out of the girl.

    Hope she wins another tonight.
