2017 DB Justin Broiles Commits To Oklahoma

If you were on Twitter early Monday afternoon, you might have seen the implication that a possible ‘boom’ was in Oklahoma’s future. And 2017 DB Justin Broiles (Oklahoma City, OK) put to end the speculation when he tweeted out the following.

Broiles becomes the seventh commitment for the Sooners in this 2017 class and only adds to Oklahoma’s (and Kerry Cooks’) already hot start. Broiles could play either safety or corner at the next level.

The rest of the class is indicating Tre Brown is committing soon.
This is bitter sweet…. Getting all these early commits is AWESOME, but that means that once the season is finish and OU wraps up the 2016 season with a Championship rings that we will have a dead period of not much to talk about. Maybe they save a few spots for higher prospects that they feel they have a chance at after a strong season.

Well Trajan tweeted 7/7 and once Broiles committed he then tweeted 8/8 so yes i think we have another one coming! 🙂
Just to put things in perspective. Last years class was pretty decent. We ended up with 8 four stars in that class. We might have 8 four stars by the end of the day and NSD is still a year away.
Basically we’re killing it.
