Happy Thanksgiving, Jordan.
Thanks for all you do.
Jordan, thank you for all that you and the other Brainiacs do! It is very much appreciated.
My father had a bbq restaurant in the southwest part of Tulsa for a while – you just reminded me – really miss that smoked turkey 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving ; and definitely thankful for all at TFB !
Interesting. My father also owned a BBQ restaurant in Eureka Springs, AR and later moved it to SW Tulsa!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
Happy Thanksgiving Jordan
Happy Thanksgiving to all of the TFB members, staff and families. If you’re traveling, be careful out there.
Let’s all remember how fortunate we are and to always be thankful for the blessings we’ve been given and for the sacrifices made by generations before us that allow us to live the way we do. And also for the men and women in the armed services making those same sacrifices today- may they be reunited with their families soon.
God Bless you all.
BOOMER!!!
SOONER!!!
Boomer Sooner Turkey Day!!
So can someone explain the FOOTBALL (Free) & FOOTBALL ($) to me? I’ve just recently noticed these and wasn’t quite sure what they meant.
Jordan started splitting them up a couple weeks ago after asking us what we thought. Some of the Tulsa world and other sites wouldn’t let you open the link unless you had a subscription. This is Jordan’s way of just giving us a heads up on which one is which
AHHHH! ok then, thats cool. Appreciate the help.
No problem! Happy thanksgiving to you
Thank ya, same to ya Magic

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Brainiac football family! Sooner football wouldn’t be as much fun without all of the info, opinions and discussions!
God Bless you all and Beat OSU

I am thankful for you guys. Happy Thanksgiving and BOOMER SOONER.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. In addition to the usual family, etc., I’m thankful for the Sooners, the New “old” CBStoops, the TFB, and all the friends here! Even thankful in a way for Stephen cause he gives us that one person we’d all like to beat with a garden hose! Live long and eat turkey. And BOOMER
Happy Thanksgiving Sooner Fans.
Happy Thanksgiving Sooner fans. Very thankful for TFB community and being able to share in what was most of our first love.. OU Football. Boomer Sooner Baby! Don’t be hero today!
Happy Thanksgiving coach, and to all my TFB friends. I hope you and yours has a great day. I will be having Thanksgiving on the road (again)(major pity party) this year in Carlisle, PA. My seven pound killer malti-poo and I are setting up the satellite dish, getting ready for a really nice Turkey day meal and some football, amping up for THE game this weekend. I will be analyzing stats, articles and twitter for the latest info going on around the game. I am thankful for God, family, friends and Sooner football on thanksgiving weekend. It kinda reminds me of the thanksgiving weekends when I was much younger, getting ready for the annual showdown of OU/Nebraska! Be safe, be well, be Blessed! Boomer Sooner!!!!!
feel sorry for those who never got to experience tg and ou/neb…..tg hasn’t been the same
It was something special every year. In those days, we got 2-3 televised games per year. My memory was Texas, Nebraska, and the Bowl game. Everything else was radio.
Dave Ubben has been already started drinking!
“I also wrote about Bedlam and The Revivalry” hic hic
Happy Thanksgiving fellow Sooner Fanatics. If you are traveling, I pray for safety for you. I hope that each of you get to see all of your loved ones on this day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy the day.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the great TFB contributors and readers. I wish everyone a joyous holiday season with family and friends. Boomer!
The bedlam game Boomer victory.

Everyone have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
Wow! So much for which to be thankful. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving Jordan, K, Jason, and all TFB staff and their families!!! And all of my Sooner ‘family’ out there. You all give me so much joy daily, even when we’re not in agreement!!! Boomer!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to the Sooner Nation, and especially to this little corner of it! I appreciate the coversation, comaraderie, and entertainment this community provides. Glad we’ve all gotten to share in this revitalization of our beloved program. And here’s to being thankful for a Bedlam beatdown of Pokie State this holiday weekend!
Thankful for No. 19! The sad feeling of trying to look for 19 on the defense next year and not seeing him is going to be heartbreaking, but his impact will live on. He sweared that he will not bow out in mediocrity and he delivered more than he promised. Proud of Strike as a PERSON, ATHELETE AND FIGHTER! #BOOMER
I think Caleb Kelly wears #19.
Edit: Striker is special. He will be missed.
We sure will miss all our seniors, each really special in their own way. But they can go out on top! Just focus and win Saturday, then keep on winning, Baby!! BOOMER!!!
I’m thankful for many things one of which my wife’s third battery of tests for cancer came up negative – as in no cancer detected- yesterday. We had quite the scare that was spread out over the last month.
Thankful for your good news, blaster. What a blessing. God is great. Happy Thanksgiving.
All the time!
Prayers for your family on the way.
Thank you
Great news! Now THAT is something to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving, Sooner Ray.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here.

Happy Thanksgiving, EasTex.
What EasTex said and I’ll add Thank you for yoga pants. Amen.
Coming up on Jordan’s Anniversary from Crimson and cream machine to the football Brainiacs.
We won!
Yo HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y’ALL!!! So a really cool story on ESPN if you go to College Football Nation and Sooners link about some of the Sooners and Cowboys being really tight, which is probably something most of you would not like to hear cause of the hate we are suppose to have against them, but the support they show each other is pretty awesome. Hope all have a blessed day and safe weekend!
The story kind of puts it all in perspective.

BoomerSooner, just thinking of you, bro. Happy Thanksgiving.
BoomerSooner, just thinking of you, bro. Happy Thanksgiving.
I wish all of you and your families safe travels and a very Happy Thanksgiving.
(…and that OU absolutely SMASHES oSu on Saturday!)
Happy Thanksgiving to the TFBs and all of you fellow Sooner fans. Eat well, laugh hard, and get ready for bedlam…stay dry also
Happy Thanksgiving everyone at TFB.
Happy Thanksgiving to all 🙂
So, will Chip Kelly be heading to USC or Texsa?
Possibly LSU also.
I’m expecting Gundy and Lester to trade jobs.
LSU is throwing kitchen sink at jimbo.
I’d be suprised if jimbo would leave fsu.
Don’t be, he has said before that’s a destination job for him at LSU. He loved it when he was there and LSU boosters want him badly. Not saying it’s a lock but dean would give it better than a 50% chance.
I don’t see that as much of an upgrade.
Not saying it is, and many LSU fans don’t disagree, but that’s where they are headed.
Would be kinda neat to see him resurrect Miami. Having access to Florida pipeline would probably be a neat starting point.
Then send Miami and G. Tech to the Big 12
I’m saying USC or LSU. Imagine what he could do with all those athletes in Louisiana.
I say Usc because of his familiarity with the west coast and prolly still has some good connections to the fertile recruiting grounds in and around cali.
Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your families and take time to just relax, enjoy the day and the people around you. I’ve enjoyed all of you on here and thanks to TFB who have provided a very unique site. I’m still trying to figure out if I’ve learned more about OU recruiting or all the different types of Tater Tots.
Both subjects are enriching treasures.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I’m thankful I was raised right in rooting for OU and not the cluckeyes.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone – and thanks for your Sooner passion. Please let’s beat OSU. BOOMER!
With the weather moving in maybe the team should like… you know head that way…

Aren’t those lyrics from the song, “The Wolves”?
Would love to see Tapper body slam him, much in the same fashion as Stidom
Whaley to Georgia..
https://t.co/425xt6FgD1 https://t.co/x2Edeqevxz
Georgia …where RBs go to disappear
Another mistake. But we’re loaded for at least two years.
How did we go from favorite to not even in his top 3? Did something happen?
Hope playing for a team that’s always under achieves, loses all its games against its biggest rivals, and btw your head coach might be fired and at best forced to resign.. best of luck…
Bummer. This is a big loss.
It’s always interesting to see the reactions of fans. Some seem to take it personally when OU is rejected and act like OU is the only school – all others are inferior. While we love OU, and wish Whaley would have selected OU, he chose wellike IMO.
Georgia has a very respected coach, plays in a top league surrounded by top talent, and is a good school which has a great college atmosphere. I recommend going to a UG game to see fpr yourself.
We must move on to the next best prospect and hope we land him. There is no need to disparage UG, or Whaley.
It’s not a big loss. OU has recruited as well as anybody in the country at running back. We’ll still have Perine, Mixon, Brooks(?), and Anderson next year, and we’re sure to sign another good back this year as well. This is one position I don’t worry about.
Exiled 1 … turkey 0, in a match that went into overtime.
Burp.
Anyone watching the whorns? Boomer!
Yep, there is no way Mahomes is better than Mayfield. He’s missed several throws already.
I am thankful that in the last 17 seasons we have not had two consecutive single-digit win seasons.
Me too. The thing that has been consistent in 17 season is not the asst coaches but the guy at the top: Bounce-Back Bob!
Lets hope at 6:35 this Saturday, that little Cale is Whooping Mike’s ass!!
Heard from an inside source that Mixon will play. Crutches are just precautionary. Even if he isn’t 100% just having him on the field in our most effective and dangerous package, the two back set will keep the defence on its toes and guessing. No disrespect but Brooks just isn’t the game changer Mixon is.
Good news! Thanx. You’re right about the 2-back set. We do a lot of damage from that formation.
TT tackles like the Keystone University Cops.
Hey finally signed up here. Always love the discussions and recruiting news. Hope all had a good Thanksgiving. Just need to top off the weekend with a kicking osux to the curb. Go Sooners
“What are you talking about?” Stoops said, taking stock of those accomplishments. “I’m grinding.” THIS^
If, in the end, Baker Mayfield takes this team where I think he’s taking it then he deserves a huge amount of credit for what one of is one most astonishing turnarounds in the history of college ball. We were a different team without him last year and now, after new coaches and great players have been added, and schemes largely blown up and replaced, we’re still a different team without him! That is a Heisman worthy impact rarely seen at top line, big, successful teams like Oklahoma. He has the potential to be an utterly transcendent player that changes both us and the National championship standings solely on the basis of his own play and his ability to lead us as a true TEAM. We should be writing songs about him if he wins it all this year! How completely unlikely, and even a little ridiculous, all year- and even just 6 weeks ago- the very thought of that National championship really was! We were rebuilding, not truly trying to get back to the National title game the first year after some of the most embarrassing losses we have had in decades and even a few where we appeared to have done the unheard of- given up! But, I know there are many others on here who shared my hopes that we might just pull it off anyway this year, and we all noted the similarities to the 2000 team’s unlikely run and the hope we might somehow improve our less then perfect team throughout the season just as they did, and we would see Sooner Magic return once again…But then the terrible and unexpected loss to Texas seemed to have truly crushed even the little chance remaining for it to be possible. But NO! What a wonderful Thanksgiving this team have given us all by their incredible play through the toughest month anyone can remember, and what a great job of restoring faith in our team by showing their own unwavering teamwork and friendship is the way to get it done! Great job, Sooners! Beat the Cowboys and go for it all! BOOMER SOONER!
