Did it ever, wow! Couldn’t help but feel Rousey fought an absolutely terrible fight, but all credit to Holm who dominated from start to finish.

Shocker. Pretty classless, IMO, comments from Tate though.

No idea what a Pambazo is.. but it looks delicious…!

  • cdzendolet says:

Waking up with on Monday with a Sooner win is a fantastic thing

  • SoonerOracle737 says:

Stat of the Week, Take II: Air-Raid teams were undefeated (7-0) this week for the first time this season. WVU won vs. Texas; Texas Tech beat K-State 59-44; TCU won 23-17 over Kansas; Cal topped Oregon State 54-24; Wazzu edged No. 19 UCLA 31-27 and Oklahoma beat No. 6 Baylor 44-34. UNC, whose offense is run by OC Seth Littrell, an old Leach assistant, also won blowing out Miami, 59-21. East Carolina, 4-6, was off. “Pretty good week for the Lubbock boys,” said Riley.

  • DR LEO MARVIN says:

    Beat TCU

  • Jeff says:

You say Tate is classless, Rousey is a POS! She gives her opponents no respect and didn’t touch gloves at the beginning of the fight is a joke. I am happy the got knocked the F out!

    • brainpimp says:

      Tate is classless.

      • Jeff says:

        Rousey isn’t??

        • brainpimp says:

Oh I see we are naming all classless people. Oops you just doubled up. Going back to Rousey is the same as tossing in that the human head weighs 8 lbs. Fascinating info but irrelevant to the actual conversation. Frankly, even if she is there are orders of magnitude between her and what tate did. She is relying on others to do what she could not and gloating about it. Frankly that reminds me of OState.

    • STL Sooner says:

Sorry, women beating the piss out of each other isn’t classy to begin with. Maybe I’m just too old fashioned.

      BOOMER!!

    • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Eh, neither of them are particularly classy. TUF 18 certainly shows that. Though Tate did make more attempts at being classy over the years than Ronda. They’ve both had their bad moments…Rousey during the face off with Holm, and then again by not touching gloves (but she’s hardly the first to ever do that.) As for Tate, I’ve always been wary of her character ever since she used Cat Zingano’s face to stand up after the round was over. It’s not really a big deal. That’s just how those two are.

  • RonBurgundy says:

I like Joe Mixon’s energy, he always goes… pumped up! !

    • David Luc says:

I liked that he was, as often as not, the first guy on the spot pumping up whoever had made a play. They couldn’t get him into beast mode so he did the next best thing. Go Team!

  • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

If you check out the awesome-sauce pass to Flowers in the endzone, Oakman gets puts flat on his back by Alvarez, picks himself up, and sulks while Mayfield is still doing his thang. When anyone starts spouting Oakman’s hype crap again, I will refer them to this film.

Beat the Frogs. I know we will.

    • cdzendolet says:

I was just about to write about that – Oakman almost makes it look like he is going to go after Mayfield, but then just completely gives up on the play

      • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

Heck, write it again, my friend. The more attention directed at Oakman’s atrocious play the better. If only he was as talented as he is dirty.

      • Brad Warren says:

I watched Oakman on Brown lady night during replay. Brown owned him. If anybody thought Jordan Phillips took plays off, watch this guy. He’s the leader in the clubhouse.

      • CPSooner says:

I also couldn’t help but notice on the play that we called a quick time-out right before the snap, Mayfield was going to throw a quick screen up top, but just pumped the ball as the whistles blew. Oakman blew past Brown on his way to Mayfield and then had to let up, but he started jumping up and down, clinching his fist, like “Ah man, I had a sack! I was gonna kill him!” BREAKING NEWS to Oakman: You were unblocked b/c the play was blown dead, plus it was a quick screen up top, Mayfield would not have still had the ball had the play continue! #overrated #finished

      • Drew says:

He gave up on most plays. Never put his body into Brown at all, and Brown was content to play Patty-cake with him.

    • Bart Young says:

Oakman is a classic case of ‘looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane’. He’s a solid player, but the hype is beyond ridiculous.

      • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

Amen, Bart. Hope that goes on his draft profile: “Looks like Tarzan. Plays like Jane.”

      • Ed Cotter says:

SI had an article about Oakman and summed it up by saying his play is pretty pedestrian and that Billings is the baller on the Baylor DL. Could not argue with that.

        • Bart Young says:

I forgot about that article. Billing’s seems to be a serous draft pick on the DL. Oakman seems like the kind of guy who will wow the scouts at the combine, then do very little at the next level. Just my opinion though. . . I’m no scout and I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express either, so I may be completely off base with that. LOL

      • Super Keith says:

ABSOLUTELY. Oakman is a physical specimen, and that’s about it. He would have difficulty starting for most top 15 teams. IF you go back (even to just the highlights), and watch him, he either takes plays off, or make an initial push, then gives up. I’m convinced he’s on the field to be an ‘enforcer’, but it doesn’t work when nobody is afraid of you. Also, having a guy opposite him that’s bigger helps. Brown owned him all night.

        • Bart Young says:

Yeah, I actually re-watched the game after work and watched him more closely on many plays. If the first push wasn’t successful he was pretty much done, unless he thought he could throw his weight around. I was glad to see our guys stand up to this crap and fight back, even if it resulted in some penalties.

  • Chris White says:

Jordan, it must be a lot more fun to make these after a win like that lol

  • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

Also, all you Okies living in western-to-central Oklahoma, be safe tonight. Could be a weird weather day.

  • cdzendolet says:

Did anyone else notice around the 11:43 mark on the highlight vid on that KO return that the runner looks like he gets taken down by Flowers feet to the chest? I noticed that during the game, and I was hoping it wouldn’t have been a penalty, given Dimon getting ejected for kicking earlier.

  • Zack says:

    #beattcu lets go

  • D Hunter Sanchez says:

    Focus TCU.

  • Jeremy Phillips says:

I assume you guys will be compiling a TCU visitor list pretty soon..?

    • Golfluvr13 says:

I know I read earlier in the year that we have several studs visiting this weekend. Good time to welcome them to OUDNA!

  • hushnpa says:

After two days I find myself still disturbed about a couple of our actions on the field Sat night and a couple of pregame posts here . I know that TFB will have something to say at some point and probably say it much better, but I just have to speak up somewhere.

If I see a bit of tarnish on a plastic cup I throw it away .
If I would see a bit of tarnish on a priceless one-of-a-kind work of art I would find it very distressful. That is how I feel now .

We are OKLAHOMA . That is why we do not sink to the level of the TTech/Baylor/couch burners/texsa/PennStates of the world . We do not Envy them . They envy us!
We , are the standard ! We know that the best revenge is Winning !
And winning with style and class , like the Champions that we are . Always !

I know that these sentiments are going to be expressed to the players involved , but i wish to reach out to fans of the greatest football program ever !
President Banowski said ” we’re building a university the football team can be proud of “.
I want to be a fan the football team can be proud of .
When we as fans ( as well as the players ) sink down to sewer level we are saying that we Envy those dwelling there . This MUST NEVER be !

We are OKLAHOMA ! We DO NOT ENVY ANYONE .
We are the best .and that is enough .

    • Brad Warren says:

Go back to your insulated cave. Lol. It’s football. Emotions are a part of that. So tired of this holier than thou crap. Get over it. We kicked the clowns asses. Enjoy it and chill out.

      • Oscar says:

Baylor brought it on themselves. They brought out the “Monster”!
The one thing I do find distasteful, is Dimon f-uing the crowd. Not needed.

        • Brad Warren says:

I liked that too. Just me though.

        • tfb_fortyseven says:

I agree about Dimon, but what we as fans need to realize is that we’re not on the field playing the game. Part of Baylor’s ‘game’ is that they try to intimidate and bully their opposition into acquiescing on the field. How does an opponent combat that IF talent/plan/effort are pretty comparable? You can either take the high road and let them get in your face and push you around (while you whine to the referees) or you can fight them whenever/wherever the opportunity presents itself. Fighting ‘the bully of the big12’ has risks, and sometimes you both end up in the principal’s office. It’s the nature of the game. I was very proud of our team Saturday night … they fought and they were passionate and hey, they just happened to win too!

      • Soonerbred says:

I have no problem with being physical and intimidating, but whether you like it or not, these things hurt the team. Those penalties cost us valuable yards on drives that led to points. Dimon getting kicked out hurt us for depth on the d line, and possibly could lead to further penalties from the conference. And as far as the f-you, I don’t think that helps with recruits either. We all know momma is the key to recruits, and I don’t know many mommas that care for that kind of stuff.

        • Brad Warren says:

That’s pretty in depth. How will it affect world hunger, the eco-system? Just saying, it’s not a big deal. Obviously penalties stink but it was all part of the game on Sat night. It’s what happened. It cannot be changed. The coaches will handle it.

          • Soonerbred says:

Maybe I misunderstood, but I took your first comment to mean it doesn’t matter. I don’t think my analysis to too in depth, but I do think that yours is too simplistic. My point is that it does matter, and specifically to the football team both on and of the field. I suppose that because we won its easier to sweep it all away, but had we lost by a couple of points I don’t think your reaction would be different.

    • Indy_sooner says:

Baylor has throttled our Ass two years in a row… I see a lot of people acting all pissed on folks being ecstatic over beating Baylor. Lowly Baylor put us in the Playoff discussion along with tOSU and Bama. It was incredibly validating to crush whatever ego they had and humiliate them in front of their 20 recruits (the first loss in their fancy stadium) after all the crap the team has endured for 2 years. Beating Baylor put us back into #7 and validated what we already knew- arguably the best QB in CFB. Yes, “We are Oklahoma” is good, but product in the field is what counts.

    • Kelly Gurbcock says:

we need a bully kind of attitude though, I have no problem with it. That attitude is what made us successful in the Switzer era and has been missing since Torrance Marshall graduated. I have no problem with it just like I had no problem with the personal foul on Evans hitting Stidham during the first series. So far my favorite penalty of the year.

    • hushnpa says:

If I may – I love smash mouth football ! Hit em in the mouth . Run right up the middle when they know you’re coming and make yards , or score , anyway – sweet . Tackle em behind the line while being held the hole way , yes ! Get up while being taunted and say nice tackle , then score on the next play , marvelous !
Kick a guy in the face while he’s lying on his back – not acceptable -punch a little guy who’s sitting on the ground because another lineman just destroyed him – classless .and “Holier than thou” ? what does that have to do with Anything ?

      • Drew says:

The Dimon “kicked” the guy while DIMON was on his back. I seriously doubt he knew the guy’s helmet was there. I didn’t have the chance to see the game live, but I was expecting much worse when I rewatched the game.

    • Steve Harris says:

Think it was OU Prez Cross who made the statement about “a university the team can be proud of”. Hope the late hits will be addressed by coaches; still remember one on Colt McCoy that cost the Sooners dearly in the Bradford-era.

  • SamSooner says:

For anyone who wanted to know what OU would have done following the Bama win in the Sugar Bowl, you’re about to find out.

This team is super confident, not cocky, confident: Mayfield said it best, “This team can achieve anything we think we can.”

  • Swanny says:

Big one this weekend! Here’s the hype video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsLPy_Rojc0

    • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

[Sighs]. Swanny, I’m glad you’re a Sooners fan.

[Sighs again]. Perine, I’m glad you didn’t sign with Bama.

      • cdzendolet says:

Perine has been incredible. He made the decision based on where he thought he could get playing time, but since then, I think he has bought in whole-heartedly on what it means to be a Sooner

        • SoonerGoneEast says:

Thing is, Saban doesn’t have a two in his one-two punch. Perine would be getting plenty of PT right alongside Henry right now if he had went to Bama.

  • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

Baylor’s dirty wasn’t dirty enough. No one. Can destroy. The Mayfield. (“The [Mayfield] will strike you down with a vicious blow.”).

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR7U1HIhxfA

  • Jeff says:

Thought little Briles was suspended for a half?

  • rainydaze114 says:

The final score doesn’t even do that game justice. Opening drive aside, OU owned Baylor the entire night. Take away a couple of the inexcusable mental lapses and there’s a 2 or 3 TD swing in that game.

    • cdzendolet says:

Also if Mark Andrews didn’t suddenly develop butter fingers. I think we had to settle for a FG after his second drop (first one ended up to Shepard, so that didn’t matter as much).

      • Recondo says:

The second one was inexcusable but I give him a pass on the 1st drop. He made a great adjustment but for a young kid in that game in those conditions making that adjustment and securing the ball is a big ask.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

OU won and looked like they have even more room for improvement. If they reach their talent level this is definitely a NC worthy team.

      • rainydaze114 says:

I still have some doubt about how well OU can run the ball against an elite D line… but I agree, that can play with anyone in the nation right now.

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

Against Bama they might struggle but the rest I think they will be able to hold their own

        • Jared William Reininger says:

You know after watching that game I think I want to change my assessment of our O-Line. I used to say they were bad, but I think they are just insanely inconsistent. I saw them get destroyed one play and then turn around and put the entire Dline on its ass and knock some linebackers out of their shoes…….its a whole lot of one or the other, not much middle ground.

          • Bob Edwards says:

Inconsistent is what you get when you start two freshmen and a sophomore.

          • Jared William Reininger says:

I have actually felt Darlington and Kasitati are the two most inconsistent. But I have yet to completely rewatch many of the games this year. Maybe JY can enlighten us. 🙂

          • Bob Edwards says:

It really takes someone who understands the assignments to know who’s at fault on the OL. Since I am not that guy, I don’t generally comment on individual play. Its always hard to know who missed the assignment and who looks like they did but was only trying to clean up the other guy’s mistake.

  • SoonerMagic76 says:

Put this QB comparison for this week for Baker – check out those total yards and TD/Int. Pretty darn good.

Great win this weekend boys! Let’s go get a few more!

    • cdzendolet says:

Baker might have equaled Sam’s TDs on Saturday if he didn’t slightly overthrow DeDe on those deep balls (or if that one didn’t slip right through his hands)

    • Daddy R says:

This truly, truly shows just how outstanding Baker has been thus far!

  • 47 Straight OU Know says:

Well, well, well. “It’s yet another fine day to be a SOONER”. I will be eating a little crow this morning, for all the tirades I have had about M. Stoops. Congratulations to the defense for never giving up. And also to the offense for not getting discouraged after the first drive. Now with that said it is on to the next. Focus on TCU, and only TCU.

  • David Luc says:

    Beat TCU!

  • SoonerOracle737 says:

I liked Bob’s comments after the game when asked how we stopped (slowed down) Baylor’s offense. His response was to take control of their run game and then pressure the WR’s on the outside. The D line & LB’s came through on the first, and the secondary played great against the latter. Really nice defensive effort all around.

    • Recondo says:

That display looks pretty cheap. Nice statue on a junk platform backed by some Kinkos poster printouts.

  • SoonerMagic76 says:

I had a good chuckle over this… RG3 statue with some new headgear after the game

  • Brad Warren says:

For those out there screaming for further punishment for Matt Dimon, just read that he will be forced to watch the remake of Karate Kid with Stephen Dale breaking it down

    • SoonerMagic76 says:

The Eighth Amendment states “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

Have a heart. That’s too cruel

  • Bart Young says:

Watching that highlight video it was really fun to see the joy in the faces of the defense, especially the DB’s, after the pick that sealed it. I didn’t observe that during the game, mostly because I was dancing around my patio/refilling my cocktail right after that pick. LOL
Those guys were soundly criticized all last year, but most especially after the Baylor game. What redemption for those kids to work their asses off all year and see it pay off in the way it did. Also nice to see the old dog (Mike Stoops) learn some new tricks defensively; he made adjustments I didn’t know if he was capable of making and the defense has been greatly improved so far this year. Amazing turn around.

    • ccmosaic says:

Mike sucked last year for sure but, our secondary was young and slow. The slow moved on and the young grew up this year. I think Mike was calling plays last year to protect the weakness (Secondary) he is now trying to call plays that depends on a strong secondary.

  • Brad Warren says:

Replay just started. That third down spot on our first possession is still horrible. That was a first down.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

Sooners got a lot of bad breaks from the zebras but still won. It’s great to get a Top 10 road win. On to TCU!

      • Golfluvr13 says:

We also caught a break on OUr last TD. Samia was almost in the end zone, should have been illegal man downfield.

        • Janet Gearin says:

No, the LOS was the 6 yd line . Oline gets a 3 yard pass before that call is made.

          • Golfluvr13 says:

True, but Samia was at the one just before Baker released the ball. He was working his way back to the LOS to block.

    • Lane Gilstrap says:

I knew it was so I rewatched it last night in slow motion.

    • Recondo says:

I’m not watching the replay so I believe what you’re saying but I remember thinking it was a fair spot during the game. I thought his knee was down before the ball crossed the line of gain on that reach.

  • Lane Gilstrap says:

Anyone know the status of Boykin and Doctson?

    • Brad Warren says:

      Nothing definite. Was wondering same.

    • soonerthunder says:

didn’t doctson play? I think Boykin will be fine. They were playing KU, they thought they’d n/play him as a precaution, imo. He walked behind the trainers walking off; that doesn’t usually happen when a guy is serious. I think he limped afterwards b/c they had him in a boot. But, that was my surmising during the KU game, so we’ll see.

    • CoachTalk says:

no word yet.. but i doubt he plays

    • SamSooner says:

      Prepare as if he’s playing.

    • john garner says:

Last I read, Boykin = high ankle sprain. Day-to-day. Even if he plays, risky. Easily reinjured.

    • cdzendolet says:

I was listening to Solid Verbal and they had mentioned that Boykin said he would play this weekend. Unconfirmed as far as I know, but worth mentioning

    • SoonerinLondon says:

Expect to see a well coached and motivated TCU come to town, with Boykin and Doctson both ready. I think this will be a BIG challenge for the Sooners.

I’m worried about nothing but TCU. The big game hangover, combined with a perception that Boykin may not be full strength, has me concerned.

Our guys proved against Texsa that they are prone to get caught up in the pomp and circumstance of their own success. This week is the perfect week to let it happen again.

Hopefully, they’ll prepare and play against TCU the way they did Baylor. They’ll need it to win.

    • Golfluvr13 says:

Boykin will probably be a game time decision. Doctson played last week with a very heavily taped wrist. I think he only had one reception, but that was from the poor QB play that TCU had.

  • Lane Gilstrap says:

I want to see some big booms.

  • CrimsonGhost says:

Is there a chance that this week’s game atmosphere is 2008 Texas Techesque? Please, please, gimme!

  • SamSooner says:

How many sacks did OU have on Saturday? Baylor had given up only 9 all season. I believe we had 5 or 6 on Saturday.

  • dOUglas Mason says:

The Miesha Tate comments… reminds me of a little sister school football team fan whose team loses to yours, then goes on to mock your team when they get beat by someone else.

  • Recondo says:

I think the committee is going to show UNC a lot of love today. If they can upset Clemson they are a real contender to make the playoff. With a small miracle in B1G country I can easily see the final 4 being Bama, OU, Iowa, UNC. Find me the guy who made that bet preseason.

  • CoachTalk says:

I dont even care about the heisman trophy… I just want to beat TCU this week. It’ll take care of itself.

  • BigJoeBrown says:

A couple of thing to help the Sooners in regards to the playoff. (This is soley for discussion)

    1) I don’t know if you have been seeing but Tennessee is really starting to come together. are 6-4, with Vandy and Mizzou left. If they pull off a couple of victories that be nice for the Sooners.

2)As for Notre Dame, they still have to play Stanford, who lost last week. But prior to that, Stanford has been playing food football. I just don’t see it as a given victory for the Irish.

    • Bob Edwards says:

Because of the remaining games several of those ahead of us have to be eliminated because they play each other or us. Right now the worst case scenario comes down to OU, Alabama, Clemson, tOSU, and ND. There are quite a few big games left for each of those. We just need to win ours and someone ahead of us is likely to lose.

    • Walter Sobcek says:

If Stanford beats ND, and OU wins out, Sooners can get in. If ND beats Stanford, the Irish are likely in, regardless.

  • ellisbr says:

can someone ‘splain to me why I haven’t heard a BOOM yet?

    • john garner says:

Well, put simply, no one has committed yet. 🙂

    • Bob Edwards says:

This is not the time when BOOMs normally happen. Most of the kids that are still on the board are a) in the middle of high school playoffs and b) still taking the official visits. Once those are over, expect the commitments to start coming in. Some of those will probably be BOOMs for the good guys.

  • SamSooner says:

Two more games. The boys have the proper incentive and motivation.

  • BigJoeBrown says:

Also another team that is playing well. Is Mike Leach’s WSU, they are ranked at 7-3 and all three losses are by 7,6 and 2 points. Glad Leach is finally able to turn WSU around and he was given the time to do so.

  • BigJoeBrown says:

Also another team that is playing well. Is Mike Leach’s WSU, they are ranked at 7-3 and all three losses are by 7,6 and 2 points. Glad Leach is finally able to turn WSU around and he was given the time to do so.

  • SamSooner says:

When will something be done about camera crews so close to the field of play. If an athlete can run a 4.3 forty, how fast do you think they will cover 5 yards?

I see the camera crews as selfish: they are trying to get that great shot at the risk of injury to others. How is it that you can’t see the action coming right at you and not think I have to move?

    • SoonerinLondon says:

Second time Shep has hurt his back falling on a camera.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

speaking of hurt. Mayfield is one tough hombre. He was hobbled and still played like an All American.

      • Shelby is a Patriot says:

He played through pain in a couple of other games, too. He takes it and doesn’t quit.

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

Yeah, at one point Saturday it looked like his left arm was hanging dead on his side. I was sure he had a separated shoulder or something but he kept on playing

          • Bob Edwards says:

If it is the play I remember it looked like it was probably a “stinger”. Hurts at the moment but no real damage.

          • Shelby is a Patriot says:

He hit his funny bone on another player’s face mask on that play if I remember correctly. He was also hobbled against Tennessee and still kept going.

          • SoonerGoneEast says:

He’s having too much fun to come out!

    • SoonerOracle737 says:

She had a telephoto lens too. No need to be that close to sidelines.

      • SamSooner says:

        Yep. It’s ridiculous.

      • Bob Edwards says:

My wife is a photographer. I have some idea how much those lens and cameras cost. Sitting that close to the sideline is putting a large investment at risk. Of course, my wife the photographer usually isn’t paying attention to where she is at when she is looking for the right angle. There’s this story about a fire ant hill.

Yeah, I’m an amateur photographer and have priced some smaller lenses. You could buy a very nice car with the price of her lens.

And when they are on the sideline, they are sitting comfortably on their knees or cross-legged, both of which inhibit their ability to quickly vacate the area if need be.

And probably total unaware of anything other than “the picture.” At least, if she is like my wife.

I take video/breakdown tape for our local JV/V squads. I stay on my feet, but there have been times I still almost couldn’t get away in time. I can feel the air rush past me as my life flashes before my eyes!

Once again, this has nothing to do with the opponents OU has to face. It has everything to do with OU. This team is as good as it wants to be.

There were at 28 more points we could have scored:
    1. Mayfield missed a wide open Perine in the flat. He went for Shepard instead. Drive stalled.
    2. Sanchez should have taken his interception up the sideline instead of cutting back to the middle. He had a convoy.
    3. Andrews drop in the end zone.
    4. Andrews drop at the two yard line.

This could have been a lot worse for Baylor.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

One possession, thinking in the 3rd. Mayfield through it deep when Shep was open for the first down.

      • SamSooner says:

It’s all right there. Just a little bit more and this will be a devastating team. Take the nickels and dimes. Base hit a team like Baylor and it’s a slow frustrating death. They won’t know where or when to be there.

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

It’s crazy to think they have room for improvement. But they have a lot of guys who can make plays…and Baylor sold out to stop Mixon. Guess he scared them the most

    • cdzendolet says:

The first Andrews drop ended up a Shepard TD, if memory serves (or it was Seibert’s FG, so at most 4 points extra there), so that should probably be stricken from the list. Don’t forget the one DeDe drop on the long ball, and the slight overthrows from Baker to DeDe throughout the first half. Any one of those with a little better touch and DeDe likely has a couple more TD’s

    • Mr. Jones says:

Two 15 yard penalties to extend Baylor drives on 3rd down.

It’s nice to see so many points left on the field and still dominate an opponent. They can only get better.

    • SoonerGoneEast says:

A personal foul penalty took us at least out of field goal range, if not, four down territory.

  • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Really love how supportive this OU team is of each other. They just seem so much more excited for one another after a big play than teams of the past; especially with Perine and Mixon, also Knight and Mayfield. It’s awesome.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

Yeah they seem to be a “team” this year. Which only fuels the fire that this is the team to bring home #8

    • SamSooner says:

That shot of Knight was good to see. He just wants to win. He doesn’t care who at QB. I read a quote once. I’m sure you’ve heard it before. It’s one I live by: “It’s amazing how much can be accomplished if no one cares who gets the credit.”

      • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Trevor Knight is just a stand up guy. You can tell when he’s celebrating that he’s genuinely happy for both Baker and the team. No question as to why he is a Captain.

  • Bob Edwards says:

FYI. There is an open post up.

  • Mustvid says:

I don’t about anyone else but I liked when Brown buried the Baylor dlinemen (was it Oakman? can’t remember). I know it drew a penalty but it was a tone setter. I knew then that this team, who talked with an edge all week, was playing with an edge and did the whole game. Let’s hope they continue to play with that edge the next two games.

  • Boom says:

Texas Tech to Baker. We can with with you or without you about half the time. You know every tech fan has to just be angry.
