You may or may not remember this from last year, but you all are pretty smart so I doubt you’ll have much trouble grasping the concept.
I’ll throw out some suggestions in terms of predictions for the weekend, as always feel free to ignore them, then you all can have at it in the comments with your best guess to those and/or offer up some predictions of your own.
Suggested Predictions:
1. Yes or No – Going in, is this the least talked about OU game in recent memory? I get that understandably the focus this week has been on last Saturday, but it’s almost like everyone is unaware or just doesn’t care OU actually has a game against Kansas State tomorrow.
2. Over/under – 2.5 receptions for any one WR not named Sterling Shepard
3. Samaje Perine has only cracked the 100-yard mark once so far this season. True or False – that changes to ‘twice’ after Saturday?
4. Over/under – 0.5 receptions for Mark Andrews
5. Over/under – 6.5 total touches for Joe Mixon
6. Your offensive MVP will be ______
7. True/False – OU will hold K-State to 150 yards or fewer on the ground which will be the deciding factor in the Sooners getting out of Manhattan victorious
8. Your defensive MVP will be ______
9. Over/under – 9.5 number of snaps for the OU defense in which we see at least five DBs on the field
10. Yes or No – Austin Seibert will still be perfect on FGA vs. FGM coming out of this game?
11. OU @ K-State final score will be _______
12. Your Big 12 picks for the weekend are ______
13. LOT of games this week involving Top 25 teams, who is your best upset pick?

1. Yes or No – Going in, is this the least talked about OU game in recent memory? I get that understandably the focus this week has been on last Saturday, but it’s almost like everyone is unaware or just doesn’t care OU actually has a game against Kansas State tomorrow. – I care
2. Over/under – Over, Mayfield has been finding Neal, Westbrook, Baxter and Quick fairly often.
3. Samaje Perine has only cracked the 100-yard mark once so far this season. True or False – False, given the oline youth and Snyder modus operandi of bringing the kitchen sink.

First one of these I’ve attempted this season. Here goes.
1. No. OU always has KU on the schedule and who really cares about those games?
2. Under…cause OL
3. False. See #2
4. Over
5. Over
6. Mayfield
7. False…on both counts
8. Striker
9. Over
10. Yes…unless OL fails there too
11. Purple Kansas 31, OU 21
12. TTU, Baylor, and, just to be difficult, ISU (you don’t just waltz into Jack Trice Stadium and walk out with a win!)
13. ISU and Michigan over MSU
1. Yes, almost too quiet. Hope the team is not dwelling on the past like the fickle fans are.
2. Westbrook with 3 and Neal with 4.
3. Toss up. If OU has lead in 4th QTR, then yes he gets there.
4. 2 catches, but would like to see a lot more.
5. Over this week.
6. Offensive line as a group.
7. False, KSU may get more but that will not decide the game.
8. Sánchez with a pick 6.
9. over. MS can’t call it any other way.
10. Stays perfect.
11. OU 38-17.
12. Hmm… Don’t care. Baylor, TCU win regardless, Kansas loses.
13. Michigan over Mich State and A&M blows out Alabama.
1. Yes or No – Going in, is this the least talked about OU game in recent memory? I get that understandably the focus this week has been on last Saturday, but it’s almost like everyone is unaware or just doesn’t care OU actually has a game against Kansas State tomorrow.
Yes. Totally agree. People want to focus on what went wrong, not what can still go right.
2. Over/under – 2.5 receptions for any one WR not named Sterling Shepard
Over. Surely SOMEONE can catch 3 passes.
3. Samaje Perine has only cracked the 100-yard mark once so far this season. True or False – that changes to ‘twice’ after Saturday?
False. He may get 100 yds from scrimmage but not just from rushing.
4. Over/under – 0.5 receptions for Mark Andrews
Over. But who really knows why he isn’t used more.
5. Over/under – 6.5 total touches for Joe Mixon
Better be over.
6. Your offensive MVP will be ______
Mayfield. This is supposed to be the Air Raid and it better start looking like one soon.
7. True/False – OU will hold K-State to 150 yards or fewer on the ground which will be the deciding factor in the Sooners getting out of Manhattan victorious
False. Don’t think they can hold them under 150 on the ground but I don’t think that will preclude a loss.
8. Your defensive MVP will be ______ Stephen Parker
9. Over/under – 9.5 number of snaps for the OU defense in which we see at least five DBs on the field
Over. Don’t really have a reason, just a feeling.
10. Yes or No – Austin Seibert will still be perfect on FGA vs. FGM coming out of this game?
Yes. Unless they start kicking from 50+ on a regular basis, he may not miss at all this year.
11. OU @ K-State final score will be _______ – OU 38 – K State 31
12. Your Big 12 picks for the weekend are ______
Baylor big over WVU 63-24
Tech big over Kansas 71-17
TCU big over ISU 59-14
Texas still sucks
OkSU still doesn’t matter
13. LOT of games this week involving Top 25 teams, who is your best upset pick?
A&M over Alabama 31-27
most people no longer thinks the Sooners will do more than show up in Manhattan , particularly if KST bolts to an early lead……
You may be thinking that I happen to have a rejoinder to your post. Wrong. I specifically looked for you in this thread.
I want to admit that I have a full crush on you, like an alcoholic can’t live without booze. You are resplendent.
I actually think you are on the minority. Most people still think OU will win tomorrow. Being a fan is short for fanatic which implies a certain level of zeal. Someone who gives up so quickly is not a fan. Someone who so easily dismisses and degrades is not a fan. I know you have claimed to be an OU supporter and may have been in the past, but you are no fan. You are the man hoping it all burns just to claim you were right.
Da Sooners!?
Sooners tame the Wildcats 27-21. OU is the one team that wants to go to Manhatten and isn’t intimidated by the corn people. I like Memphis over Old Mississippi for the upset.
Corn people? Is OU going to Lincoln? I’m from Kansas and have never been called a corn person…maybe a wheat person. Is that really “a thing”?
Guess it depends on which kind of breakfast cereal you like.
I don’t know but I enjoy corn especially corn on the cob, so maybe it’s a complement?
Did you mean the wheat people? Although that is KU waving the wheat. Kansas is the wheat state.
I think it comes down to which team can emotionally recover from last week’s disappointment. I expect some nice new wrinkles from LR. Sooners 34-31, on a game winning FG by Awesome Seibert.
34-21 OU
I predict us continuing to descend into mediocrity until real changes are made
1- yes
2-under
3-he will get 77 yards
4-Andrews catches 2 passes for 1 TD
5-Mixon has 8 touches
6 Baker
7 KState has 204 yards on the ground OU can’t stop the run consistently
8-Zach Sanchez/Parker these two will get a pick or two and show up big
9 over-even our goal line sets are from a nickel backfield
10 yes -all season
11 34-20 OU
12 I hope they all lose or tie if they play each other – OU-WV-TT-TCU all win-ok state loses to the bye-I don’t root for the B12 I root for OU
13 Wv will give baylor more fits than the 21 pt spread indicates-Lville upsets Free Shoes U

3. False
4. Under
5. Over
6. Your offensive MVP will be Baker
7. False
8. Your defensive MVP will be Dom
9. Over
10. Yes
11. OU @ K-State final score will be 31-27 OU
12. Your Big 12 picks for the weekend are Baylor, Tech, TCU
13. LOT of games this week involving Top 25 teams, who is your best upset pick? Alabama over aTm, even though Bama just lost in the Sugar Bowl. I think they’ll bounce back nicely though again aTm.
1.) everyone is too nervous wondering if OU will show up ready to play or simply show up…..that said, KSt 37-20……if Texas is any indicator, OU is well on its way to another 5 loss season….
Sooners fold? Could happen and if it does the ending of this season could very well be catastrophic.
Kick Rocks!!!
He’s taking a selfie with invisible camera.
If acute hepatitis could speak, then it would sound like every one of your posts about your “favorite” team, OU.
If the physical nature of quadriplegia could be represented in an abstract form, then it would be your attitude.
If hopelessness and helplessness could manifest itself into a human form, then it would be you.
What I’m trying to say is that you are a blessing, a ray of sunshine, and an inspiration.
I like OU in this 38-24. I have Penn St beating Ohio State by two touchdowns.
I got Penn St too , I see a lot of teams getting upset this weekend
1) Yes, def seems numb right now after the dreadful performance last week.
2) True, Westbrook gets a handful of short passes. He’s got great feet and quickness for the short game.
3) False, its the game plan to defeat OU.. stop the run make Baker try to throw it with a porous Oline
4) Over, 3/5 yd hitch inbetween hash marks…(please for the love of gawd!!!!)
5) Over, HB swings.?
6) Gamer Baker will keep them in it..
7) False, 250+ yards for KSU
8) Walker/Wade/Interior Dline must stop the run.

10) True, Dude is a stud of a kicker. That boy has NFL all over him.
11) 37-34……purple turtle henchmen
12) Baylor, Tech, TCU
31-23…..KSU, OL struggles again, gives up 4 sacks. Turnovers and penalties plague Sooners for 2nd straight week.

fewer on the ground which will be the deciding factor in the Sooners
getting out of Manhattan victorious – FALSE
8. Your defensive MVP will be DOM ALEXANDER
9. Over/under – 9.5 number of snaps for the OU defense in which we see at least five DBs on the field – OVER

13. LOT of games this week involving Top 25 teams, who is your best upset pick? Memphis over Ole Miss
11. OU wins. End of discussion. Not worried about all the other numbers.
34-17 OU. I see them coming out fired up and slowly pulling away.
And all of you naysayers: do what my friend Sam said!
1. Yep
2. Over
3. False
4. Over
5. Over
6. Andrews
7. True
8. Parker
9. under
10. Yes
11. OU 34 – KSU 27
12. OU, TT, BU, TCU,
13. Not much of an upset, but I’ll take Michigan
Don’t want to sound negative but I believe we struggle again on defense.
With an afternoon kickoff, this is my prediction…
http://www.ohbiteit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/ttcmid2.jpg
That looks like so much heartburn.
I’ve had that for breakfast before, with the addition of jalapenos and onions on top.
Called it hashbrown casserole but made with tots
I want that.
I see a pattern starting here….
that looks delicious.
OU looks lost on both sides of the ball and gets punched in the mouth early and often.
41-24 KSU and things get really ugly, really quick in Soonerland.
Sadly, I have to agree. Ball games are won in the trenches, and KSU looks to be better on both sides of the ball. KSU punches us in the mouth, builds a lead, and is able to run at will to keep the OU offense from mounting a comeback. 34-24 KSU.
I honestly have no idea what to expect tomorrow. I know what I’m hoping for, but we’ll see.
My prediction is no matter what win or lose I will still be a SOONER!!!!
Unless and until the offensive line matures, there is no telling how this will turn out. The defense is okay, not great, but the offensive line is the key to any success, and it can’t block sunshine right now.
Perhaps, we should get some of commentators on TFB to play on the O-Line. They are pretty good at blocking “sunshine.”
I have to give the O-Line some credit. They played pretty well for the most part, but still got stuffed a whole lot more than anything we’re used to seeing. Hopefully, they’ll keep maturing. Maybe Tech will sell out to the run as did K-State.
1. Yes not near as much hype outside as I have inside!
2. Over – Think Westbrook and Mixon or Quick at least 2
3. False – Splitting Carries a lot Perine, Mixon, Brooks & Mayfield keeps on zone read some
4. Over – Or it is a DAMN SHAME!
5. See above answer LOL!
6. Mayfield – Huge comeback this week
7. False – See them getting 200 – 225 yds cause they will stick with the run no matter what
8. Mike Stoops for playing straight up Man to Man and stopping the run and forcing them to pass! please oh please let this be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9. Under – Don’t think they have the personal to force that! (I HOPE!)
10. Yes – add 2 more FGM
11. 41-17 OU
12. OU, Baylor(want to pick WVU but not without Joseph), TT, TCU
13. I will pick USC to rally around the new guy and upset Notre Damne
Only 2 predictions and I control them, so they are bound to be accurate >
I WILL watch and cheer for OU.
Just in case, I will be barefoot so I do not throw a shoe through my flat screen.
I wear slippers. For that very reasson.
It’ll be a beatdown of so great a magnitude that the President will immediately hold a press conference and call for Sooner control.
I don’t predict anything different than what we saw previously.
Mark Andrews has got to get the ball.
Riley needs to put him in the slot and force the ball to him!
I will be looking to see if the Sooners actually make it to the little apple. Still sitting in OKC due to mechanical problems with TWO planes is not how I looked for this weekend to start for them. No walk through practice, totally out of routine. UGH!
Why is this staff suddenly so stupid…I was stationed in Manhattan and drove to Norman
couldn’t have taken more than 5 hours by car and we took several breaks along the way
Norman to okc 1 hour …check in bags 1 30 mins
flight 30 mins…deplane get luggage 1 30 mins
drive to hotel by bus loading unloading 1 hour….flight time same time as a bus but a bus would be less stress. .
they are in an 8 plus hour delay . ..they will be exhausted by game time….
we are now the bad luck sleprocks of college football and everything we do is a joke and it’s all about leadership which at this point is nonexistent at Oklahoma
yea I get it fair weather fan . ..move on…etc. I actually had ou winning but now..seriously doubt it..
It’s okay there’s always next year right after all waiting is not a problem
Well you see, they didn’t know in advance that 4 planes were going to break down. So your argument is invalid because you, like most armchair QB’s, have the gift of seeing it after the fact, not actually being in the moment…
Is the team still in OKC?
Flight info http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UAL2213
much as I would like to see a blowout, over by half time, as I outlined on an earlier thread, I think it will be a fairly close hard fought game, and the Sooners will win.
Honestly, I will be looking to see if we can play basic fundamental football. Line up and power forward. I will be looking to see if the swing pass to Mixon will be around or even to Andrews.
All in all, and I understand coaches coach and player are responsible to execute but there were a few years Barry had very little to work with and still pulled out 9 or 10 wins. There are times when leadership can move mountains.

5. Over/under – 6.5 total touches for Joe Mixon. OVER

Just a quick question for Jordan and the mods. Is there anything that can be done about the “sister earned $97” spam posts. I’ve noticed the bot is now upvoting people’s posts as well as its own. Sure seems like this should be able to be handled at the server level. What does Diqus say about it, if anything?
