Open Post | Weekend, October 9th – 11th

Team Note | Devante Bond: I’ve spoken to a couple sources regarding the status of Devante Bond and was told the standout LB has not practiced all week. In his place, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, PL Lindley & Ricky DeBerry have taken the majority of the reps (obviously this is contingent on the personnel grouping, against bigger sets, Striker plays the boundary and Bond to the field while  against smaller sets, only one of the stand-up DEs is on the field).

I can’t say definitively whether Bond will or won’t play, they may let him go through warmups to see how things feel. But having not practiced, again as I confirmed through a couple different sources, one would have to think the odds are not great of seeing him out there on Saturday. – (Super K)

Team Note | Du’Vonta Lampkin: A while back I spoke to one of Lampkin’s family members, who told me the one request the family made to Bob Stoops was that Lampkin would get to play in the Red River Shootout.

Several things to discuss here. (1) It’s beyond obvious that any kid would want to play in this game, be it freshman or otherwise, let alone a kid coming from the situation Lampkin came from and his history with the Texas program. (2) It might not be the best thing to burn his redshirt by playing in this game after we’ve heard Stoops just this week discuss Lampkin specifically and saying he’s immensely talented, but because he arrived so late understandably further behind his fellow classmates/defensive linemen. (3) We have 17 years of history to the contrary of Stoops making promises to any recruit with regards to playing time.

Who knows, maybe the game gets out of hand and for whatever reasons only Stoops would know they throw Lampkin out there. Evidently he and the family have made it clear Lampkin would very much like to be out there, but from an outsider’s perspective it doesn’t quite jive with coach Stoops style. But in talking to folks this week, Lampkin is definitely hoping to see the field. – (Super K)

Weekend Visitors: As many of you are already aware, this year the Red River Shootout is being hosted by Texas. As such, the Sooners cannot invite recruits to attend the game. However there will be quite a few recruits in attendance that OU is targeting and/or have offered and no doubt hoping to impress. TFB’s Andrew King put together a good list of prospect he’s been able to confirm so far expected to be in attendance. I’ll highlight a few of the Oklahoma targets:

Obi Eboh – Eboh is currently committed to Texas, but a source has told us that he’s still open to Oklahoma. The Sooners is still considering the possibility taking one more DB, even after the recent commitment of Jordan Parker, but it sounds like they are looking for a guy that can bump over to play a cover safety position. Eboh and Baylen Buchanan both fit that bill.

Jean Delance – As you all know Delance was an Oklahoma commit at one time. Though he has not talked about it publicly, we’ve been told that Delance still has interest in the Sooners. He always had (and still does have) a good relationship with Bill Bedenbaugh.

DeMarkus Acy – Acy held an OU offer at one time as a safety prospect, however I’m not sure that offer still stands. He is currently committed to Missouri.

Brandon Stephens – Stephens is committed to Stanford, but Oklahoma has been in touch with the talented running back for a while. Stephens picked up his Oklahoma offer just last month, and the family is considering a visit to Norman at some point this season. With Oklahoma falling behind Georgia for Devwah Whaley, this is an important prospect to impress.

Robert Barnes – The 2017 safety & OU commit will be in attendance. His father played in these games for the Sooners.

Tyrese Robinson – Oklahoma was one of the first offers for 2017 offensive lineman, Tyrese Robinson.

Brey Walker – The top 2018 prospect in the state of Oklahoma and possibly the top offensive line prospect in the country, Brey Walker, will be in the house.

That Lampkin thing is pretty disturbing. It’ll be pretty disappointing if he sees the field Saturday because of some “promise”. Like K, I have a hard time believing Stoops would make any such promise.

  • Brian says:

    TEXAS SUCKS!!!

  • C.A. says:

I personally really hope Lampkin doesn’t play. He needs to focus on the future and not just now. The situation is bigger than him its about the team. We really need to blow them out I believe it would speak volumes on our season.

  • bjwalker82 says:

We had better not get comfortable. We don’t have that luxury and haven’t for some years.
If we play like we can, we win handily.

  • Scott says:

I think Mique Juarez may decommit soon from USC , USC Head coach could be fired at the end of the season , and texsa sucks

    • Zack says:

He seems to really like his OU offer. I can’t imagine landing him to go along with the other 2 LB from Cali. However if he does start to heat up on OU, I wonder what we do at LB with 3 already committed.

      • Cam says:

        We move to a 2-5-4!

        • Jofield says:

From a personnel standpoint that may not be far from the truth because we have to remember that several of these guys are hybrids that will really end up more like standup DE’s. And our two best standup DE’s are graduating this year.

      • Boom says:

I’m with you but how can you turn down top talent. Maybe he comes and someone else de-commits, who knows. Either way, if he’s that talented, take him.

        • Zack says:

I heard JMT is up to 245 so it’s possible he could play a DL spot.

          • Scott says:

He is hybrid , I really like him , and with defensive line recruiting we don’t need to take that many people with all the depth we have , I honestly can see us taking Chris Daniels and putting JMT on DE and call it a day

          • Zack says:

I think you’re right if we think Daniels is the most likely and if we want to go all in for him then I think we can sell him on being our one DL guy this year. But I would still try hard to flip Oliver and land Bledsoe too.

          • Scott says:

I agree we still go hard for Oliver no matter what ,so with LBers I think Caleb Kelly is a silent commit , and if we can get Mique Juarez on campus with Kelly , then we have a shot but I believe UCLA is the leader but we are right behind them

          • Scott says:

            Here is my Recruiting board : 1 RB if we need one , 1 WR , 2 OL , 1 or 2 DL , 2 LB , maybe 2 ATH

          • Zack says:

Remaining board or what? That’s 11 spots.

          • Scott says:

            Remaining board my bad

          • Zack says:

That sounds about right. Where you have 2 athletes I would just say 2 random that could be any position.

      • Soonerfandave84 says:

OU finds a spot for him no matter what.
OU has little chance of signing him. [for now at least]

      • Scott says:

Over the years we have done great in Cali and its starting to show now , We came close to john Houston , adore Jackson , sua cravens and other top talent on their team but at the time USC was selling the future . Their losing games that they shouldn’t lose , they have all the talent in the world but bad coaching. Recruits are realizing that

      • Doobie74OU says:

Jon Michael Terry has played in 4 games this year and has 13 receptions for 247 yds and 5 tds and last year he had 50 receptions for 645 yds and 5 tds so it wouldn’t be totally crazy for him to slid over to the offensive side of the ball as well as they are using Andrews right now and he could be a better blocker if he is up to 245lbs as mentioned below.

        • Zack says:

He could be a good TE prospect, I like his athleticism. If he is 245 like I heard then he could get up to 260 easy I’m sure which is pretty big for a college TE. I would be interested to know if he plays basketball also. Kenneth Mann was up to 245 last year before basketball and he dropped to 220.

          • MoJoOkie says:

JMO, but I don’t think you take a solid LB prospect and make a TE out of him.

          • Boom says:

He plays either position. Kinda like Tramonda Moore, OU has him as a G whereas Mizzou has him as a DL.

          • MoJoOkie says:

Yeah, I’m just saying you would typically a player be a good LB as opposed to a good TE. Unless the cupboard is bare at TE.

          • Zack says:

Well I don’t know that he’s a solid LB prospect. He’s only played DE from what I’ve seen on his highlights so I would consider playing him on offense. I think we might have to get creative going forward with the TE position. We won’t land highly touted TE in Riley’s system unless they want to be jimmy graham.

          • MoJoOkie says:

You say DE, I say OLB, lol.

          • Stephen Dale says:

            Bruce Jenner goes both ways.

          • Doobie74OU says:

Yeah he is a pretty decent Power Forward also for Victory Christian!

      • guest says:

run them like Riley runs the WRs?

      • Stephen Dale says:

find a place to play them and if that requires a different coordinator to scheme all the LB’s—-then, OK !!!

  • Soonerfandave84 says:

Was hoping Bond would be a go, probably best to let him recover since no more BYE weeks.
Don’t burn a redshirt so Lampkin can get payback. This is where Bob has to show he has their best interest in mind.

    • Tboneathome says:

IF, and I don’t’ know this to be the case, he’s a guy planning on 3 years and then NFL, why redshirt him? Let him out there to unleash his hatred. Might just discover a gamer.

      • Soonerfandave84 says:

If he was a 3 years and done guy, we most likely would’ve seen him already on the field.

    • MoJoOkie says:

Rest Bond unless you really have to have him out there (which I don’t think we will need him in this game). He’s going to need fresh wheels later on down the line.

      • guest says:

Ogbonnia Okoronkwo should have had his challenges straightened out after seeing game film, and should be ready to go tomorrow.

        • MoJoOkie says:

Yeah, he might slow his pass rush just a step, but I’d bet he’ll protect the perimeter better now.

  • Boom says:

I don’t have a problem with Lampkin playing. I would welcome more depth as the year goes on. If Lampkin is good enough and did get in the game, he would try to destroy them. That rubs off especially if some of the other guys are a little tired. Little story line to follow.

    • Scott says:

      We already have great depth

      • Boom says:

Like I said, if he’s good enough to get in the rotation, play him. Injuries happen and it’s always good to have game experience. I trust the coaches.

        • Easton says:

I think DeBerry should play. With the heavy influx of Linebackers, those guys need to be cycling in.

          • Dick Bump says:

Frank Shannon can’t seem to get much playing time, even though Bob S. Has said he’s playing well. I’m not sure he’d play enough to warrant burning his redshirt. Evans has been really good so far.

    • Zack says:

If he’s good enough to provide legitimate depth then I have no problem. But if he’s technically behind que and gallimore as far as development then I don’t see the point in burning the red shirt. If he plays the next 4 then he could be a part of beating Texas 5 times.

    • guest says:

…..if he’s in college shape physically, knows the plays mentally and is technically sound, and is needed or wanted as it fits into the game plan, the season and next four seasons, ….the coaches have a lot of things to consider ….is it best for Lampkin, best for the team, etc.

    • RBear says:

If he’s that good and we’re going to use him a lot the rest of the way, sure- put him in the game to start the second half, fresh and hungry.

  • metzker says:

    HA

  • Bob Edwards says:

The Lampkin promise does not sound like Stoops. However, it would not be the first time a recruit or family heard what they wanted to hear. For instance:

Lampkin: “If I come to OU will I get to play against Texas?”
Stoops: “Yeah, we play Texas every year. ”

    later …

Lampkin: “Stoops promised I will get to play against Texas.”

    • guest says:

      Then later still….
      Lampkin: “OU wasn’t forthright.”

      • Bob Edwards says:

Yeah, right now this kid’s performance vs drama factor is pretty far in the negative. I’ve pretty much put an ‘I don’t care’ filter on him until he actually does something on the field.

        • Rick says:

I do like his “Mom’s” attitude. She seems to be a voice of reason to him. She never wanted him to go anywhere except OU to start with.

    • KatyOUdad says:

      Yes, in 2016, 2017and 2018.

  • Walter Sobcek says:

Sorry for going off on another espn rant, but just read a story by gerry hamilton that says “OU is “struggling and struggling” while A&M (with 9 losses the past two seasons) is “thriving.”OK, I’m done.

    • Easton says:

By aTm standards, they are thriving. But those standards are below OU’s. ESPN is becoming a network of fallacies, falsehoods. Rapidly.

      • soonermusic says:

        becoming??

        • Easton says:

There are vestiges of truth remaining within the organization. By vestiges I mean a few employees who are sound thinkers.

          • soonermusic says:

Yeah, I see your point. I was just thinking about how radically skewed their perspective has been for many years. It’s the nature of the beast, of course, it’s about ratings and dollars as much as anything, but it’s not new. Edit: just saw your other post as well. Seems like we’re on the same page. 🙂

          • Easton says:

            Yes, yes true, true.

          • Doobie74OU says:

The Greatest thing ESPN has going right now is their Monday Night “C’mon Man!” segment and if things keep going the way they have the past decade ESPN as a whole will the stars of their own C’mon Man and in 10 years and be totally gone & irrelevant!

        • Easton says:

Becoming is not the right word. Becoming happened in the early 2000’s. You’re right, they are.

  • Will Narramore says:

I think you sit Bond. Give that ankle time to heal. We will need him more next week against KSU on the road. Let Obo get in there, he has great pass rushing skills and presumably will be one of the starters next year. Let him get some reps.

  • Will Narramore says:

Also: Has Marquise Overton played any since the Akron game? Is he the 3rd DT and we’ve only just used Romar and Wade?

  • KJ1123 says:

OL lineup looks like Brown Farni Ty Nila and interstingly enough Samia MAY get the nod at RT.

    • Jordan Esco says:

      That is interesting.

    • MoJoOkie says:

Won’t take long to see if that works. OL has been a little tough, but there’s a lot of youth in there. Probably just a small amount more depth though, and that should develop more with a little more time. The lineup can change if it’s not working. Ty and Nila taking a week or so off may help us as we go forward.

    • Doobie74OU says:

Wow on RT, but if all St John has going for him is that he is older then I say run with the younger guy and get him the experience that will mean a lot moving forward!

      • KJ1123 says:

Even if he doesnt actually start things are pointing toward him contributing a good amount tomorrow. I honestly think the run game is a little better with Samia. His down blocks are really good when he combos with Nila and hes getting better at getting to the second level. Samaje ripped off a few good runs when he was in the Tulsa game and Joe had a nice run in the Akron game on his side. Still a little undersized compared to Josiah though but he moves better.

        • SoonerGoneEast says:

That’s awesome. I’m all for changing out a few of the pieces until they find what works.

        • Zack says:

Dalton going to get any run? He played well in Nila’s absence vs Tulsa.

          • KJ1123 says:

He did play well. Nila is still not 100% just playing through that ankle. So Dalton could get in a couple series.

          • Zack says:

Who else should we keep on eye on this week? Is Smallwood ready to contribute or is he rusty?

          • Gary Robbins says:

            RRS for 2015.
            Brown, Farniok, Darlington, Kasitati, Samia.
            RRS for 2016.
Brown, Danley, Alvarez, Dalton, Samia ?
Changes or switch positions, plus Frison. B. Evans, Hearne, Curtis, Paul, Ford, Daimler, or Mittermeier.

          • Stephen Dale says:

Curtis ? didn’t realize OU had a lineman named Curtis … Are you referring to natrell Curtis ? is he at OU now ?

          • Zack says:

My guess is that’s who he’s thinking of. I don’t think natrell will ever make it to OU. He may make it to D1 but I think Arizona state will get him.

          • Gary Robbins says:

Right is was N. Curtis from Arizona. He signed but is not on the roster now.

          • D Hunter Sanchez says:

I say we don’t need another WR at this point. I mean, Andrews and Shep could stand for a few more touches/targets.

          • Zack says:

I think we need to have at least 6 reliable receivers going into the meat of our schedule which is now since the next bye week is at Kansas.
So far Shepard and Andrews are the most reliable. Westbrook and Neal right behind them but have had drops issues and fumble issues from Westbrook. Mead needs to get things going.
But really my reason for asking about Smallwood is he is finally cleared to play and the dude looks like a beast so I want to see if that’s shown up in practice at all.

          • D Hunter Sanchez says:

You forgot Baxter! He’s ahead of Mead.

        • guest says:

What’s the story on Joseph Paul? Is he not ready? Injured? Two left feet?

          • Stephen Dale says:

just a guess but think he is carrying too much weight which probably affects his quickness and ability to get downfield or block effectively on sweeps……

          • KJ1123 says:

Just not really clicking with the offense right now.

      • Stephen Dale says:

        agree with you.

    • Jason Vos says:

Any plans to use Sam Grant as a blocker at the TE position since our current TE/FB don’t seem to be able to set the edge?

      • D Hunter Sanchez says:

I’ll tell you what, this is the what fifth game? Something needs to be done if we can’t at least be a real threat to run.

      • KJ1123 says:

Hes still been working as a RT on the scout team mostly. Not sure if that will change anytime soon. But you never know.

Amazing.

It’s early. When I think of him I think of Grissom and how long it took for him to be so formidable week in and week out. I hope the kid is all over Heard come Saturday. And why waste Deberry’s redshirt? Or have I missed him out there already…

In regards to Lampkin, you have to like a guy who wants to play in this game because he’s pissed and wants to prove a point. Folks, that’s a tone setter for the next 3 to 4 years.

  • dallassooner says:

That Lampkin decision would be horrible unless he’s truly going to start getting some playing time on a regular basis.

    • RBear says:

Right, never let the inmates run the asylum 😉

    • Daddy R says:

I think it’s a great idea, and would give us some added depth on the dline, provided he does continue to see time the rest of the year (which, no doubt about it, if he plays in this game, he will continue to play. No WAY Bob would blow his redshirt for literally one game, cuz you’re right, that would be a horrible decision…)

I think he was behind the other lineman, but IF he is as immensely talented as they say, then surely after 6 weeks of season, he has some of the schemes down. At least enough to play at a high level and sub the other guys.

    • Easton says:

The story with this hat: Barry’s equipment manager handed him this hat because it was raining, he didn’t even look at it until after the game, when he realized he was wearing ‘Beat Texas’ on his head. Heard Barry tell this story on ‘Flyover Country’ podcast by David Ubben.

I love your sentiment, Lampkin, and am glad you’re on the team. But you ain’t the only dude on the roster with an unfettered disdain for everything Texsa. Sit your beastly butt down and pay your dues like the rest. Eat a corndog. Or seven. You too, Coach Byrd. Batter some kale and fry it.

    • guest says:

      Yummy! LOL

    • Daddy R says:

Would you have said that to Tommie Harris as a freshman?

      • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

To be quite honest, I wouldn’t even say that to Lampkin. 🙂

      • Rick says:

My understanding of Tommie as a freshman, was he came in a full groan man, very physical, and a bit of mean in him. I think he obviously earned his spot right away, and as they say, “the rest was history”.

        • Bob Edwards says:

I think if Lampkin were Tommie Harris good we would have already seen him by now. People talk about Lampkin like he is a five-star recruit. He was a three or four depending on the service you look at. Tommie Harris was the number one DT in the country. Lampkin was in like the 20-25 range.

        • Daddy R says:

Yessir! And not necessarily comparing Lampkin to Harris per se, just that many have heard, and feel, that Lampkin has all the physical tools needed to play as a freshman, and is “immensely talented.” Harris was a special cat, and Lampkin must not be quite that, or he’d a been playin already…

But my main point was that freshman can and do play for the sooner dline, occasionally.

          • Bill Holder says:

I belive DL will be a special player if his head is screwed on right. I just wish he would have been here at the start and cleared to play. If so, I believe he would be starting the RRS. Cholly made sure he was put in position to have to wait a year so he won’t be around to watch it happen.

        • Scott Moore says:

His first ever play from scrimmage was a tackle for a loss. That man was a beast.

      • Bob Edwards says:

Tommie Harris was the number one DT coming out of high school. Lampkin is like 23rd.

        • Daddy R says:

Understood. My point was just about the thought that “a freshman must pay his dues.” Not all freshman are created equal. 🙂

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

even the great Gerald McCoy redshirted

          • Bob Edwards says:

Yeah and we have a pretty good DLine this year. It doesn’t seem to have a star player but a good, deep group of steady players. Lampkin might be the most talented one we have, but the others are talented enough that they make up for any difference with experience.

          • Soonerfandave84 says:

agreed and the talent/experience ratio was a big reason Tommie got to play early. He was a freak for his size and OU had few other options

          • Bob Edwards says:

Yeah, people forget to look at the context. Sometimes a mediocre guy starts because there’s no one else available. Other time a pretty good player sits because those ahead of him are better at what the team needs (cough, cough, Alex Ross).

          • Soonerfandave84 says:

Yep, really feel bad for him. Hopefully he has a TD return tomorrow to fuel a 70-0 rout

      • Jofield says:

I don’t think Tommie Harris showed up late for fall camp. Plus, he’s Tommie Freakin’ Harris!

    • Rick says:

I may be wrong but, if I remember right, I think it was Hatari Byrd several years ago that said something to the affect that he had been promised to start when he got here. Probably what he wanted to hear. Stoops corrected the phrase to something like, if you are good enought to start as a freshman, you will. I think this instance must be something of the sort.

      • Robertson / Robertson 2016 says:

Yeah, I remember something like that. Remember that game “Telephone”? You know, one person whispers something and when it gets to the end it’s something wildly different? Stoops probably showed up for an in-home visit and said, “Hey, where do I park?” And then Byrd took to his TweetBook: “Coach Stoops just asked if I wanted to start!!!! #TellAllTheNewsOutlets #TramelFodder”

        • Rick says:

Is that why when I went to pick up the love of my life, at the time in HS, she said never, really does mean never.

  • Stephen Dale says:

I would love to see OU turn Eboh . He lives 2 1/2 hrs from Norman, has the length Buchanan lacks, and has played against some quality competition at SLC….I can see Oboh filling out to 6-1, 210 by his RS/ SO year and being a force in the OU secondary.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

You see him as a SS?

      • Stephen Dale says:

No……….a cb/S hybrid type guy……..believe he has more speed that most SS’s and might be a nice fit in a 3-3-5 scheme …..

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

I can see him playing a similar role as Steven Parker too

        • Zack says:

I will say if you are correct then this is a guy we need to find more often. I said the other day they need to find guys similar in skill set to Steven Parker (Aaron Colvin also) and bring those guys in. Parker may be the best coverage guy I’ve seen at OU. So far this year he has been shown respect by the refs to play tight coverage and not get called for some sort of penalty.

    • Finney56 says:

I agree. He’s really good at SLC and they’re a really solid program

  • D Hunter Sanchez says:

Better freakin win that’s all I gotta say.

  • sooner44 says:

This Blue Jays pitcher looks like Sterling Shepard

  • Jonathan Grant says:

FYI Striker plays the field and Bond plays the boundary

    • Jofield says:

Depend on the situation he will play either which is exactly what Super K said. Last year Striker played the field because we sure as heck weren’t going to drop Geneo into coverage on a regular basis.

  • Daddy R says:

  • Jeff says:

So Barnes and Walker will be on Texass sidelines?

    • Zack says:

Not a big deal if you ask me. I don’t see Barnes flipping and for walker we have more to worry about than Texas. I think every major school is gonna try to get walker

  • hOUligan says:

I was born during ‘beat texas week’, a couple of weeks early, the Thursday before the OU/Tx game. Back then, moms and newborns were kept in the hospital for 3 days. My dad had tickets for OU/Tx. He convinced the doctor to keep mom an extra day and not release us until Sunday so he could go to the game. The doctor understood the importance. I have one birthday wish every year… Beat texass!!!!

  • SamSooner says:

    EasTex, how is Marshall doing?

  • Dustin says:

Sean McDonough and Chris Spielman on the call tomorrow.

  • EasTex says:

Just saw Sooner commit Chris Robison go down with an injury at Highland Park. Ran into the cement wall behind the bench and looks like he banged his knee.

  • BleedCrimson says:

Excellent game by Coach Potter’s team against #4 WVU. Ended in tie after double OT. 0-0
I like where they are headed. So many freshman on this team and looking good for the future. A clean sheet against a top 5 team is huge.

  • EasTex says:

Congratulations to the Allen High Eagles.
Winning streak is now 50 in a row, an amazing accomplishment at any level, even more so playing in the highest classification in Texas.

    • Zack says:

Maybe that quan hogan guy deserves some looks. 210 and 6 scores tonight vs mustang. From what I know mustang isn’t bad, one of the better teams on the west side of the state.

      • EasTex says:

It’s clear the young man can play. There must be other factors effecting the lack of interest on his offer sheet.

        • Zack says:

It’s very odd. And it has to be more than ou wanting to hide the kid, it’s almost impossible to hide a kid nowadays at the highest level in state football. Plus why is osu leaving him alone. Hopefully it was just a matter of wait and see and now the offers start happening.

  • dustbowlboys says:

So this is Our OU/Texas song we recorded, “BEVO GIVES MILK.” Toby Rowland has been playing it on his radio show all week. Boomer Sooner!!! Pass it on! https://www.reverbnation.com/dustbowlboys/song/18847571-bevo-gives-milk

  • OUhound says:

Woohoo kickoff in 4.5 hours. My first RRSO was almost 50 years ago as a kid….but it still feels the exact same way before this game!!!! Nothing like it.

    Cotton bowl bound!!

  • Steve Cooke says:

What’s the best site to stream the game today?

  • 47 Straight OU Know says:

Good morning fellow brainiacs it’s finally game day it’s always a great day to be a SOONER

  • Zack says:

Haven’t looked at the recruiting rankings in awhile because we’ve been around 45 so far. But I looked at the star average rank, and we’re tied at 18 with an average of 3.27 according to rivals. I think they’re low on Ryan Parker and mo chandler. I think we will continue to close strong and land at least 1 5 star and about 5 more 4 stars. Should finish around 15th again but mainly because I don’t know that we will get to 20+ signees. I’ve guessed 17 or 18.

    • Zack says:

And fwiw, the 2 juco guys were top 10 composite in the previous 247 rankings and both fell to about 30.

  • Zack says:

    The future

  • KJ1123 says:

Looks like St John got the start over Samia today, last minute decision.

    • Zack says:

St. John has played well enough I think. Wouldn’t mind seeing samia get some time now and then though always better to get the young guys prepared.

  • Daddy R says:

    Game thread up..
