OU @ Baylor | Q & A With Bears Illustrated

Image via todaysu.com

If you’ve spent any amount of time reading TFB, you know this isn’t something you’d typically find here. But considering the importance of this game for both teams involved, we thought maybe shaking things up a bit wouldn’t be a bad idea.

With that in mind, we reached out to Kevin Barrera of Scout’s Bears Illustrated to get a sense of things from the Baylor perspective. Hope you enjoy.

TFB: In your opinion, has Baylor played the Jeff Lebby situation up behind closed doors as added motivation against the Sooners?

BI: I don’t think so. Frankly, I think they quashed that a long time ago. He made a mistake, they disciplined him, and have moved on. The sooners have the type of tradition that Baylor is wanting to build. Other than the game, there isn’t much outside that Briles has to say or do to get the team up for playing OU.

TFB: Do Baylor fans feel as strongly as some OU fans that Art Briles seems to have Bob Stoops’ number, or do you think that’s simply more product of a recency bias from those in Norman?

BI: I don’t believe that realistic Baylor fans feel Briles has Bob Stoops’ number, yet. The issue isn’t just that Baylor has or doesn’t have OU’s number. It just comes down to the fact that this offense is so dang hard to defend for any team. The issue for OU has been the offense. You have to be able to score with Baylor and take advantage of those situations where Baylor turns the ball over on downs. I think it’s more recency bias from those in Norman. As Spencer Drango said earlier this week, Baylor owes OU a lot more than OU owes Baylor.

TFB: If you’re an opposing defensive coordinator, how would you approach defending this Baylor offense? Go with a strategy we’ve seen fail miserably for OU the last two years of playing off, trying to keep everything in front of you? Or a more aggressive, blitzing scheme knowing there is a good chance you’ll get burned at least a couple times, but knowing that the potential rewards, in theory, outweigh the risks and that pressure on the QB is realistically your only chance of success?

BI: I’m sure most DC’s stay up all night trying to figure this out. Obviously, what OU did last year, and what most teams try to do, just doesn’t work. Baylor does an excellent job in protection of their QBs and just don’t give the defense time to put pressure on the QB, with how fast they get the ball out of the QB’s hand. If you come with pressure, they will slant you, or complete WR screens up and down the field. So really you just have to pick one and hope you can get Baylor in some 3rd and long situations. The most successful thing I’ve seen is pressing the WRs at the LOS to break up timing, and maybe send an extra LB on a blitz or some type of corner or safety blitz. It just comes down to making Baylor beat itself.

TFB: Removing the obvious of stopping/slowing down the run game, from a Baylor defensive standpoint what do you view as the most critical aspect to a victory against this OU offense?

BI: Sounds crazy to say this, but you have to make Baker Mayfield beat you with his arm. When Mayfield gets out of the pocket, he is dangerous. You have to keep him in the backfield, put pressure on him, and cover the WRs in space. Again, all easier said than done, but Mayfield is the X-factor here. Limit his play making ability outside of the pocket, and force him to beat you with his arm. Trevor Knight and Baker Mayfield aren’t insanely different (I think Mayfield is more athletic), but you saw Baylor do this last year in Norman and it worked perfectly.

TFB: Help the fans in crimson understand why this Baylor crowd would potentially intimidate and/or play a significant factor in the game for an OU team accustomed to playing in front of large, hostile crowds, most recently 100k+ in Knoxville.

BI: Honestly it’s really hard to explain. The stadium seats 55,000, and I believe that place is going to be PACKED on Saturday. It’s more of a rowdiness of the crowd. So it’s not about how loud they get, they just get hostile, fast. The fans are right on top of you, and they feed the defense. If Sooner fans want an idea of how the crowd and team play off of each other, just watch the last 10 minutes of the TCU/Baylor game last year. Momentum changes very fast, and the team just takes it to a whole different level.

TFB: Pick the winner. How do you see this game playing out?

BI: This is a tough one. I do believe that Baylor is just a different team at home. Baylor hasn’t lost a home game in about four years. This is the toughest game that Baylor has had up to this point, and the same could be said for OU. This is OU’s toughest defense they’ve had in a while, but this is also one of the most potent and efficient offenses over the past 3-4 years. Does OU have the ability to cover Coleman, Cannon, Jay Lee, while trying to slow down Shock Linwood and Devin Chafin, behind one of the top OLs in the country?

Many believe that Stidham will struggle because of his inexperience, but Briles has never spoken higher of a QB and honestly, Briles is right when he says that all Stidham has to do is sit in the back seat of the car and read a book. Baylor does an excellent job of get the ball in the hands of the playmakers quickly. Stidham just has to manage the game, and make the easy throws. This game will come down to whether or not OU can keep up with Baylor. I think they can for the most part. I see this game as a 3 point game going in to the 4th quarter, with Baylor scoring a TD late to ice the game.

I’ll say Baylor 45 Oklahoma 35. I think it will be a GREAT game though.

This. One thousand times, this. ^^

Daddy call Mike tell em this will work

    • D Hunter Sanchez says:

Super K wrote on this and showed that this is not the sole answer. Go back and watch the last four times we’ve played and win we won, we didn’t always play tight on the LOS. This is a tired accusation that I see rearing its ugly head on MS if we lose.

      • Daddy R says:

Well, no offense to K, but just because he has his opinion, doesn’t mean others aren’t allowed to have theirs. To your point though, the last four games I have seen D. Austin Man-press more than a few times… And I’m not one that says you have to “always play tight on the LOS,” but you sure as hell better do it some, especially against a team like Baylor, and especially when you send blitzers. Mike’s defense and game planning have been on point this year for the most part, so I’m certainly not on Mike’s case. But, you must press at times if you want to be a fierce, dominating D, and the Sooners HAVE done that this year, at times. I want to see it again on Saturday. I’m aware you can get beat deep more often when you press, but you can also get beat by letting them nickel and dime down the field the WHOLE game. And against a Freshman QB, in this big-time game atmosphere, I’ll take my chances with the press and blitz, and let the freshman try and beat us…

        • SoonerOracle737 says:

I think we need to play a combination of press and not press coverage. But on goal line or other critical short yardage downs we need physical DB’s who disrupt the WR’s route at LOS. We aren’t doing any physical things to disrupt the timing of the route. We absolutely need more of this, especially on Coleman. He does it to the DB’s. We need to do it to him.

        • soonermusic says:

“press at times if you want to be a fierce, dominating D” This is true. What goes along with that is you have to have players that can do that effectively. Otherwise you’re in deep trouble if you try it. This year, it would appear that they should be able to do it effectively. The coverage in the secondary, whether press or playing off, in all areas– communication, understanding routes, and physical skills, has been night and day from last year, across the board, imho.

  • Matt says:

My prediction: OU 52 BU 28

  • Bart Young says:

Great interview; only quibble I’d have (aside from his score prediction) is this, “Trevor Knight and Baker Mayfield aren’t insanely different”. I’d say they are but I guess opinions can vary

  • Matt says:

Yeah I disagree with his view of saying Baker and Trevor aren’t that much different. Baker will beat his team from the pocket with no issues.

    • OUWade says:

yeah, other than both being more mobile than a lot of QBs, they are far from being similar to each other. Personally, I think Knight is the better “athlete,” but Mayfield definitely plays from the pocket better, and has a better awareness both down the field and in the backfield when getting pressured. That’s why some think he is more athletic. But, put Knight and Mayfield in a race or agility competition, I think Knight wins just about all of those.

Though, I agree that Baylor will want to keep Mayfield in the pocket and try to collapse it around him similar to what Tennessee and Texas did, and even Iowa State at some points.

      • Jed says:

One big difference: Mayfield goes a least part way through a read progression. Instead of staring at his chosen receiver from the beginning of his snap count.

    • SoonerMagic76 says:

First thing I thought too. They might both be trying to be similar, but they are not the same quarterback at all

    • D Hunter Sanchez says:

Exactly. One area we know where Baker is vastly different than TK is in ACCURACY. TK 59% BM 70%…This will be the difference and shock Baylor.

      • soonermusic says:

pretty sure TK is at 70% in the new system as well. the new receivers and the system make a huge difference. I know this is beating a dead horse with you, so I’m not trying to stir anything up, but this year is quite different in every way , imho.

        • SoonerSpock says:

Actually TK completion percentage is higher 70.8% to 70.2% for Baker.

          https://admin.xosn.com/pdf9/3851107.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=31000&

          • soonermusic says:

Thanks for the link. also, with regard to Mayfield seeing the field better, it is obvious that his extra years in the system have paid dividends in terms of being able to anticipate what will happen, and where guys are going to be, but I think an impartial view (as reflected in the coaches’ comments) will show that TK has improved by leaps and bounds in this department as well. Bob clearly made the right move bringing in this offensive system, and what appears to be the “ability to see the field” is in large part based upon that system, imho. In the few appearances we’ve seen, TK is showing more decisiveness, better mechanics, and, obviously, accuracy. With the way Baker is playing, I certainly don’t want anything to happen to him, but I will say I have never in all my years of watching OU football, felt so confident in the ability of the number 2 to step in, if necessary. –(Other than when Troy Aikman went down, but that confidence didn’t arise until number 2 actually got in the game.)

    • h-townsooner says:

When I saw that I realized this guy hasn’t watched many OU football games. Knight had the X factor for 1 game and is a turnover machine. Baker is playing at heisman levels and has had the X factor since he got to the Big XII.

    • ratman says:

Baker is miles ahead of Knight.

  • EasTex says:

Thanks, Brandon, an interesting and different approach from TFB.
According to the interwebs information available for their stadium it seats 45,100. Regardless, baylor exceeds only Kansas with average home attendance at just over 44,000. Not that 55,000 is a frightening proposition for the Sooners.

    • SoonerGoneEast says:

Even before they first built the stadium there was an expansion plan to take it to 55K. I never quite understood that, but maybe that’s what happened.

  • Mr. Jones says:

Good interview, Brandon. I’m sure Baylor provides a tough environment but I just can’t see it having the same impact as a Tennessee or Florida St.

  • Roger Nixon says:

He seemed to have glossed over the fact that Trevor had virtually NO WRs to throw to last year.

  • Birddawg says:

    Whoa Thanks Brandon and Kevin.
    Very interesting stuff.

  • hOUligan says:

Hmmm…the Bear sees no difference between a Qb who has a completion % of 58% and one who has 70% with the 2nd highest PE (186.8) in the nation. Hope their team is as blind and overconfident.

  • Mr. Jones says:

I saw on a Baylor site there is going to be over 20 4 & 5 star recruits. Is this true? Other than Horton, any players of interest for us?

    • Gary Robbins says:

Big game for both programs for many reasons.

  • SoonerfanTU says:

Ugh. I hate the argument that “nothing OU has done schematically the last two years has stopped Baylor’s offense.”

There is only so much a defense can do, scheme-wise. OU will not do anything on Saturday defensively that we didn’t try to do at some point during the games in 2013 and 2014. Hopefully, we’ll just do them better, and with better players. In 2013 we were burned with big plays. In 2014, we got nickel and dimed to death. We will do a lot of those same things in 2015, but with better players, more confident players, and better execution.

  • Zack says:

Will Johnson at the nickel and Parker at safety will make a ton of difference this year. Plus JT will be an upgrade over Wilson and I think for Sanchez to stay on the field this week he’s gonna have to be 100% healthy and 100% focused on his assignment.

The DL is getting pressure this year because the back end can hold up. Also we’ve got linebackers that can play in space. Hopefully they can force a couple mistakes and give our offense some breathing room.

  • Thegunnfather says:

Could this day be any longer? Hate the wish my life away, but come on Saturday!BOOMER!

  • Thegunnfather says:

PS. I think we got this!

  • metzker says:

TFB has been putting in the work thanks guys all of ya
    BOOM!!!!!!

  • SoonerfanTU says:

Does Coleman lineup all over the field, or is he mostly on the offense’s left side? If he stays on that side, he’ll mostly be matched up against JT, right?

  • SamSooner says:

It is inconceivable to believe that Baylor will never, ever, lose another game.

Thelonious Monk said, “Whatever you think can’t be done, somebody will come along and do it.”

  • Mizuno44 says:

I don’t think playing at Baylor will be any more hostile than what we faced at Tennessee. I think Mayfield has this team under his wing, and he doesn’t seem to get rattled whatsoever. I predict we’ll see something really special tomorrow night against this overconfident and ready for a big loss Baylor team.

    • Soonerfandave84 says:

It won’t be, except the whole Baylor is a much better team than Tennessee

      • EasTex says:

They may be a better “team” at this time, but not nearly as athletic as the vols. The vols played great defense until they finally wore down in the 4th qtr. The bears have only played their starters through an entire game twice, their last two against teams we blew out.
They will hit some big plays on offense, but their marginal defense will fold like a cheap lawn chair by the second half.

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

the key will be running the ball and defense….sign me up, can OU join team SEC now? I’ve got the lingo down

          • EasTex says:

I agree, OU needs to have success running and also stopping baylor’s run.

          • Soonerfandave84 says:

Yep, and as I said below get some pressure and that’ll force penalties and turnovers. Do that and I see OU winning by 2 scores

        • metzker says:

Cheap lawn chair i like it.

        • Matt says:

I haven’t seen a team in the country that has the heart and resolve of OUr team. That’s why I think this team wins the natty, and the fact that the d-line is playing great..and the linebackers..and the secondary..and the offense as a whole…I could definitely be wrong though.

      • Mizuno44 says:

Baylor is having to regroup after the loss of their starting QB. Stidham has one game under his belt, and they struggled offensively at K State. I don’t care how talented he is, fact is, he’s playing in a really big ball game in his second start and I think their offense will sputter a bit. Additionally, I think our offense can score a lot on this Baylor defense.

        • Soonerfandave84 says:

Agreed, I wasn’t saying Baylor was better than OU. I was saying they are better than Tennessee and if OU were to lose it would be because of that not their crowd.

    • SoonerMagic76 says:

Yeah, the idea that just because the fans are “rowdy” makes it a loud and hostile environment does not really translate.

I feel confident in saying, without having being there, that Tennessee (102,455) was both loud and hostile.

I feel confident in saying, having being there more than once, that OU/ Texas at the Cotton Bowl (92,100) can be both loud and hostile.

I feel confident in saying, having being there more than once, that OSU (60,000) is neither very loud nor very hostile. Sure, they have some idiots in hideous orange screaming. But when there’s 55,000 of them, it just doesn’t do all that much for me. I have to imagine that translates similarly to Baylor.

      • Boom says:

Rowdy Baylor fan? C’mon, a drunk rowdy Tennessee fan trumps any Baylor rowdy fan. Plus the had twice as many of them too. We are fine.

        • SoonerOracle737 says:

          Baptists drink?

          • SoonerOracle737 says:

LOL!!! BTW – my wife is a Baptist so I can talk… 🙂

          • Boom says:

Funny story, I went to a Baptist church in the middle of summer. I had jeans cause they said that’s all we could wear. By day 3 I couldn’t take it and put on my shorts to breakfast. I was ushered out and told to change. I said it’s a 100, why do I have to wear jeans. That conversation lasted longer than I wanted so I got up and called my parents who picked me up. I enjoy church and I did back then too but I was getting tired of sweating my butt off.

          • SoonerOracle737 says:

Reminds me of the oldie but goodie joke. Why do you take two Baptists fishing with you? Because if you take only one he’ll drink all your beer. If you take two they won’t drink any…. 🙂

          • Jed says:

I went to school overseas and we had passles of MK’s (missionary kids) and PK’s (preachers’ kids)(distinction: the MK’s lived in a dorm because their parents were out in the boonies somewhere, whereas the PK’s lived with their folks.) Pretty much evenly split between Baptists and Lutherans.
Let us say that had this cohort been magically quarantined, the sex, drugs and rock and roll quotient of my high school years would have plummeted to near zero.

      LoL…so they think..

  • Jed says:

Although I largely agree with his comments, the item about Baylor keeping Trevor in the pocket last year needs to be countered. Baylor did not confine Knight to the pocket. Heupel did.

    • Clay Davis says:

Yeah, somehow Trevor staying in the pocket to throw to zero reliable receivers didn’t work out for us.

  • Mike Reed says:

I posted this in the Daily News side, but thought i’d post it here as well…….

I don’t know if this has been discussed on here or not, but a Baylor DB said they “plan on pitching a shutout” against us.

    http://www.foxsports.com/colle

Points given up by Baylor this year..

    SMU 21
    Lamar 31 (Home game)
    Rice 17 (Home game)
    Texas Tech 35 (Home game)
    Kansas 7
    West Virginia 38 (Home game)
    Iowa State 27 (Home game)
    Kansas State 24

The Baylor defense is averaging giving up 29.6 points per game at home this year.

OU has the #3 scoring offense in the country. Good luck shutting us out.

    • SoonerinLondon says:

Doesn’t every D come into each game with the goal of pitching a shutout?

      Not challenging you, just sayin.

      • Mizuno44 says:

Probably, but as those stats illustrate, it’s not realistic so keep it in your head and don’t create bulletin board material for the other team. In this case, I’m glad he said it for our bulletin board.

I have to chuckle when I continue to read people posting about how Mike Stoops “coached” the DB’s last year to play off the WR’s last year, as though it was his defensive strategy. It has been widely reported that last year, mainly because of the youth and inexperience, he let the CB’s decide for themselves whether they felt comfortable pressing the receivers or give them a cushion. More often than not, they chose to play off. How can we so quickly forget the argument on the sidelines when Mike was getting on Julian Wilson for not pressing when Baylor went down the field with quick outs in front of Wilson. Thomas and Sanchez are a year older and more comfortable playing up on the receivers. I look for things to be different tomorrow.

Some people just LOVE hating on OU coaches. Bob. Mike. JH. Kish. Venables. The list goes on and on.

      • Mizuno44 says:

I don’t think anyone love’s hating on coaches, but if issues exist, it’s worth dissecting to identify the root cause. As it turns out, I think there were coaching issues, and perhaps we could all agree our new and tenured coaches have meshed well, and we’re seeing a definite improvement on the defensive side of the ball (which is what this particular post was about) this year. I also think moving the loose cannon off the sidelines into the blimp has helped tremendously too, IMHO.

Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.

    • EasTex says:

Thanks for reiterating that point. Sadly it doesn’t get mentioned as often as it was Mike’s fault for the DB alignments.

      • Hollerback says:

If Mike wanted them to press, he should have coached them to press instead of giving them the option and then yelling at them later.

        • EasTex says:

The exchange with Wilson and the Stoops brothers was because Wilson was told to press because he had safety help and Wilson didn’t do what he was told.

  • Kody K. says:

I’m curious how quick Stoops/Cooks will put in Austin if Sanchez starts to falter. I hope they don’t jeopardize the defensive coverage paying homage to what Sanchez has meant to the team in the past.

  • Soonerfandave84 says:

“If you’re heading down to Waco for a battle, plan on a shootout. The Bears are going to make you play their game, and you’re better off just trying to outscore them. Best of luck, Sooners.” –Max Olson

Just give up and play into Baylors hands if you want to have a chance to beat them. Also the key to winning any game, is to outscore the opponent whether it be 3-2 or 63-59.

  • leatherneck1061 says:

I don’t agree with Olson to the point that D shouldn’t make a significant difference, but he is right you have to be prepared to win a shootout with Baylor. The O has to be able to carry the bigger weight in this game, and the last 2 years they choked miserably.

  • rphokc says:

ot…..keeping things in perspective, while we play with football, there’s been major terror attacks in paris……..good luck to all

  • Brien Brown says:

Is it ok that I am cautiously optimistic that OU can and will win this game, mean not just win but, in a blow out fashion. IDK why, usually I would be worried and I am to an extent, but, feel for some reason, OU will just be ready to play tomorrow. I think that Stoops will run the score up if given the chance and think the D will be merciful if given the chance, I predicted OU to win 55-38 but I am more hopeful for a 65-10 win or worse if possible. IDK why I feel so good about the boys chances. I will say this though the comment about this being OU’s best chance to beat Baylor if not this year when, mean OU is still really young at a lot of key positions and they will all get better, but, I think we will win tomorrow and in the process do some head turning of some recruits and the media.

  • metzker says:

Saw that. I read Breitbart a lot. They do a great job of keeping up with the Migration Crisis. Doesn’t surprise me that YouTube pulled it. You can find lots of Swedish and German documentaries that document their immigration problem on YouTube, though. Those are eye opening.

          • EasTex says:

What is even worse is their press is forbidden from publishing any news that doesn’t fit the narrative that the invaders are welcome.

          • EasTex says:

The “First Great Jihad” ended badly for islam only a few hundred miles from Paris at Tours, France.

The defeat at Poitiers was the first Muslim defeat at
the hands of the Christians. This was to be followed by the Reconquista
in Spain (910 – 1492) and the Crusades (1096-1297), in addition to the
Christian victories at Palermo, Lepanto and Vienna. But the final
Christian victory against the challenge of Islam, called terrorism in
our times, is yet to be delivered and this should happen in the next
            decade or two by 2025.

            http://historyofjihad.org/france.html
We are well into the “Third Great Jihad.”

Another excellent source of info is at TROP.

          • Shelby is a Patriot says:

There’s a book I read called “God’s Battalion” by Rodney Stark that makes the case as to why the Crusades were necessary, and not quite the monster modern history makes it. It’s a great read. Next year will be an important turning point for our country and what it’s role in all this will be going forward. Hoping for the best because the future of the world isn’t looking too great.

          • EasTex says:

Not familiar with his book, but then I have been aware that the Crusades were a reaction to the actions of islam for some time.

          • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Brian Kilmeade’s “Thomas Jefferson and the Tripoli Pirates” is also supposed to be a really good one. It’s about young America’s first encounter with the Islamic states. I haven’t read it yet, though.

          • EasTex says:

Some people were puzzled by TJ owning a koran, but the info was always available. He knew from his time in France as an Ambassador what the thieving Mohammedans game was and when they tried their BS with America when he was President he gave us “to the shores of Tripoli.” TJ didn’t play with those thieves.

          • paganpink says:

More then four centuries of attacks to be precise. Obama thinks the Crusades were due to evil popes just wanting to attack Islam when the truth is of course, just the opposite.

          • Boom says:

Unreal. I don’t know what else to say

          • EasTex says:

When Europe falls and with our porous Southern border and feckless leaders, things will go badly for us if we don’t take action.

          • Defend Colfax says:

If you’re worried about porous borders I’d look more up north. Canada is a hotbed.

          • EasTex says:

Not the problem at the moment. A friend of mine retired from the U.S. Border Patrol a few years ago and he stated ten years ago they were finding muslim prayer rugs on our side of the Southern border in increasing numbers.

          • BleedCrimson says:

Same here, a buddies son is on the Southern Border Patrol. I was watching a show the other day about finding lost treasures and they used a sattelite to take an image of the underground caverns and access ways. The point being, why are we not using the tech to protect our borders?

          • EasTex says:

Because certain people in positions of power are not interested in preserving our borders or nation.

          • Defend Colfax says:

Add crook in there somewhere and you’ll have the definition of a politician.

          • Brad Warren says:

I would definitely include us. We haven’t responded with the force required to defeat them. We have to fight them in Syria, or deal with the consequences. Obama is basically on the way out, so he’s not likely to do anything on too large of scale. It is much easier to get weapons here than in France so attacks here are imminent if this administration and/or next does not commit fully.

  • Cush Creekmont says:

I like the “sassy poise” of Baker Mayfield. It reminds me of Uwe von Schamann. I can see him getting stronger from the adverse crowd.

  • Deputy Moonman says:

I’ll never forgive Baylor for beating TCU last year. Multiple questionable late-game calls to allow Baylor to kick a game-winning FG at the end of game, which ultimately kept TCU out of the playoffs last year. What a joke.

More on topic, I don’t think Trevor Knight and Baker Mayfield are even remotely the same. And the weapons that Mayfield has now are not remotely the same either. If our offense fails to score against Baylor on Saturday, I’m giving up on college football lol.

  • Mustvid says:

So making knight and mayfield are the same player and they this guy thinks making Baker beat them throwing is the same as Knight throwing. Guess this guy hasn’t watched film of Baker.

    • EasTex says:

Judging by his statements and those posted on baylor forums none of them have.
OU only scores 35…against baylors defense? I think the Sooners score that in the first half alone.

  • BleedCrimson says:

Women BB is playing on FCS channel.

  • Defend Colfax says:

Pumped for tomorrow night! I can feel it, now I need to see it. Agendas aside I think the broadcast crew will have high praise for the winner. Also a Heisman contender gets catapulted into the spotlight. Anyone know what uniforms they’ll be wearing? I hope for the traditional away’s but playing some tacky chumps like Baylor they may want to show out as well. Please, stick with the white shirts and crimson hats. It’s on at Primetime! Feels good to be back. Boomer!

    • EasTex says:

If they were going with alternates I think we would already know.
I like the traditional road unis, anyway, but with baylor going with their all black unis they wore 2 years ago and calling for the fans to black out the stadium, the good guys in white will show up great.
The baylor team and fans in all black will save them the trouble of changing into their mourning attire.

    • Defend Colfax says:

Can anyone recall the last time we were Game of the Week?
