I keep on thinking that the injury is career ending and Trevor and his family aren’t willing to accept the fact he will be out of football.
Sterling Shepard’s status has not changed much. Most likely will be a game time decision depending on how he feels.
How long does this type of injury freakin take?

I’d like to see us play a non-conference game that weekend. Of course, you’d have to schedule a team like BYU or ND that doesn’t have a conference championship.

My little brother plays for Heritage Hall and they were extremely mad. Wanted the chance to beat Douglass in the semi’s especially with the noise they talk. Locust Grove is a good team but they didn’t win that game.
The game wasn’t over when Douglass scored, right? Maybe LG would have come back and scored themselves.
Officiating errors are part of the game. Sucks. But it rarely makes sense to go back an replay anything. Simply gotta move on.
There was 1 minute left when they scored the winning touchdown. They had 5 officials and none of them knew the penalty was not to take away the touchdown but to penalize them on the point after or the kickoff?
Exactly Pagan, it’s one thing to make a bad judgement call by officials, but it’s an entirely different matter when 6 guys don’t know the correct rule in a season ending elimination game with a minute to play.
Just a bad situation for OSSAA, Douglass High School and Locust Grove. Either way, my Chargers would be winning this Friday!! I just know these guys at Douglass personally and some aren’t going to graduate or even less will go to College so these playoffs were all they had left and to get it taken away like that is hard to swallow. Teams get bad calls everyday, it’s part of the game, I just don’t think a lot of people realize the negative effects losing this way, again, will have on these boys

I wouldn’t say so as he’s probably getting another opinion. Neck injuries are tricky as I’ve been through it. I bet he’s dying to play but they are holding him for precautions. JMO.

A lot of folks do too. Guy is good but also a cheap shot artist. Shame as he will be known more for that than his ability. He did the same in the TT game which was just horrible and ref saw it and STILL didn’t call it. Baylor getting away with some stuff over the past couple of years.
