here we go
Hey Jordan, You were at the game, right? How bout a paragraph or two about the experience? Must have been pretty cool.
I second this. I was wondering how the Tenn fans treated the OU fans. Would be a nice add.
Yeah Jordan, Give us a recap of your experience 🙂
I still have video for your blog Heath…. You need to get on it…
Stoops opens recapping the big win and feelings of frustration for so long only for the payoff in the end.
Continues to play up the atmosphere from Saturday night, ‘took a lot of character from our players’ to come out w/ a win. Also compliments his assistants for keeping the players in it even though things weren’t going well for so long.
“d-line was incredibly disruptive”
Stoops says he thought Baker’s ability to scramble was key to the game. Shepard was, again, exceptional. Austin Seibert was incredible.
He escaped seemingly certain sacks time and again to make big plays. On one play, he broke 4 tackles then completed a pass.
I thought the most amazing part was that he didn’t panic and continued to look up field once he got loose. Not to mention he didn’t make bad decisions under pressure.
Stoops says Devante Bond, Zack Sanchez and Jordan Wade were players of the game on D
Also singles out Steven Parker & Dom Alexander.
Nice to see Wade coming on again!
I rewatched the game last night and he stood out to me numerous times.
Wade is a manimal. So is C. Walker…I just wish he had 100% effort on every play. That last game has me seeing some talent where I didn’t know we would.
Manimal….That’s awesome. Is it okay if I steal that? 🙂
Well there is a $100 fee to use it. lol jk Sooner fans get it for free…we invented it.
Randy White will expect his share too.
White was known as The Manster.
Yes I thought with Phillips gone we wouldn’t have that same disruptive presence in the middle but Wade has flashed numerous times already. Great to see!
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/643470482986000385
I guess that means Dalton was Scout Team player of the week.
Seibert was the special teams player of the game
Stoops moves on to talk up Tulsa, more specifically their offense
Why do they even bother still wheeling Eschbach out to these things? He’s not reporting for anyone, or recording audio. Always allowed the first question and it’s almost always a waste of everyone’s time.
/rant over
I agree…..he’s not even a Journalist. Just let him make a fool of himself daily on the Commercial Animal.
Plus his accent grates on every nerve in my brain.
I don’t live up there so I don’t have to listen to him all the time. He sounds like Buddy Hacket to me. Reminds me of my youth. Love Bug…:)

We’re off and running w/ OU’s non-con scheduling. Because Bob has never addressed this topic before. Bang up job as usual, fellas.
Time for some fresh blood in the media pool! Come folks, wake up and smell the coffee!
Stoops: Devante (Bond) is special. We’ve been talking about him a lot. He’s athletic, powerful, and he really understands now what we need him to do.
Stoops says Paul Finebaum doesn’t deserve any attention from him.
Don’t expect this to be blown completely out of proportion as the day goes on.
Did have a subtle great line about Finebaum being paid to promote an individual league.
Loved that haha

He doesn’t. Great response from Coach.
thats hilarious right there
The best part of his response, “ask the 105,000 if we’re relevant,” to Al when told Finebaum had said OU was irrelevant. Priceless!
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/643472102218067968
Could have been worse, hopefully he comes back even stronger.
His mother tweeted out Saturday night that he will be back, bigger, stronger and faster next year.
Wishing him a full recovery!
Stoops says his team was in excellent condition towards the end of the game. Again, the local media with the hard-hitting questions we’re all dying to know the answers to.
I said during the week we would wear them down in the 4th and we certainly did.
Jerry Schmidt doesn’t get enough credit for his work. Also the nutritionist.
https://twitter.com/EricBaileyTW/status/643472602170679296
OK, I was wrong. Didn’t think BS would say something in public.
Did you see the presser. I don’t think Bob is going to do anything other than say “stop that.”
EXACTLY what I thought he would say and what he would do.
I watched the presser. I certainly didn’t get the impression that there would be punishment. I thought it was more tongue-in-cheek. To me, it sounded more like they would talk to the players and nothing more.
We won’t know the nature of the punishment – that’s how Bob always plays these situations (and even worse ones) -“internal” matter. He might do just as you say or give them a stern time-out.
I got the impression that Bob was going to tell them to try and tone it down a little bit and that would be the extent of it. Maybe some extra wind sprints after practice or something, but that will be it.
Stoops says he’s reconsidered a little bit his comments about Sat possibly being his favorite ever win at OU, but said it’s right up there.
Seen that coming. 🙂
So did he, btw. He said as much in the post game presser….:-)
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/643473263847305216
Hungry…..I’ll allow it.
Stoops offer the explanation given to him re: the non-Parker strip-and-score, refuses to comment on the quality of the non-call.
Carey looks really fat today.
Today?
Stoops came prepared w/ several stats regarding how well the D played Sat night
Stoops on DL: “We’ve got more depth. The maturity & experience, there’s more understanding of what they need to do.”
Dirons doing a good job. Like that we’re mixing looks and changing attack angles so lines can’t get completely used to it after a few series. Not an overly physical group but a solid group none the less
Any word on Samia? Was it just a point of not throwing a true frosh into that environment?
IMO, it was used as a motivator for St. John
Certainly worked
Hope Samia keeps getting reps though. We need every body we can get and we need to keep giving him experience for down the road
Stoops jokingly says Mixon needs to be a little less selfish when running the Wildcat w/ Perine
Goes on to say Mixon is more than capable of throwing out of that formation.
Nice!
Yes please.
On the goal line I’d like to see Mixon fake handoff to Perine, then take one step forward to fake his run and suck up defenders, and then toss it over the line to Perine out in flat. Tim Tebow jump pass of sorts.
I would love all that but the pass imo would be really cool if it went to Mayfield!
Either one is fine with me!
To me this screams, “Hey other coaches, you better prepare for the pass too!”
That’s exactly what I was thinking. He probably should pass it a couple times so that it’s on film though. From then on, we really “could” pass it and D’s will worry about it and keep more bodies back maybe.
You could keep routes vanilla but have a wrinkle where there’s a tight end that releases into the flat on the opposite side of the run action, to use later.
I cannot wait for that to happen!
On the third play, Perine would have scored easily had he handed off.
No doubt.
I can recall one or two where I would absolutely agree w/ that.
that actually made me wonder if they weren’t all actual reads, but designs for him to keep it. I think that’s a dangerous formation if Mixon really gets to where he can make those reads really well.
I think that the play is an option, but not a zone read, where he reads the DE. At least it doesn’t look like it to me.
maybe not so jokingly…

But, but but, fire Kish, right?
I was very impressed two years ago, that Kish had Jordan and Dom ready to play as true freshmen. Granted they weren’t at an AA level, but they did play fairly well, which is very impressed for true freshmen at LB. (Yes, I know that Dom was a freshman AA).
Thank you Sooner 76. I was beginning to think I was the lone voice in the crowd praising Kish’s work. This much I know for certain: if he wasn’t doing a good job, he’d been fired when Bob cleaned house.
There were a lot of us that supported Kish. Most of the negativity toward him was about recruiting, not his coaching ability per se.
Seriously??! It was about everything…friendly hire, too old to relate to the players, can’t coach, can’t recruit, and on and on…
His recruiting? I don’t understand. He pulls in three studs in the last class: one from far away VA and another from LA, and one from down the street who will surprise the “experts”. I don’t see a problem with his recruiting. This year or the last. And in his first year, he didn’t have much time to do any serious recruiting, but the kids he did recruit were starting in the D that shutdown UT in the 2nd half last Saturday. The guy does a helluva job. We all need to acknowledge that.
Since nobody else has said it I’ll gladly admit I was wrong about Kish, I honestly didn’t think he could do what he has after the first couple of seasons. We missed out on a lot of big recruits and our LB’ at times looked lost. He’s definitely proved me wrong and I’m glad he has.
Oo-ah! Takes a big man to admit he was wrong. I had my doubts as well in the beginning.
Had my doubts too. Venables teaching was a lot more complicated so the guys seemed to question his coaching at first. When he went to bat for them because they weren’t being played much, it felt like he won the group over.
Agree completely. I have always thought Kish was a very good coach but did have some doubts about his ability to recruit. Most of my reservations on recruiting are gone.
Kish For President!!!
Stoops says Mayfield has a natural ability to scramble while keeping his eyes down field. Says it’s not really something you can teach, “some guys just have that innate ability.”
I wonder if this helped win him the job. Inexperienced line to go with the ability to make a big play when things break down. TK9 seems to turn in to a runner when he pulls it down and Thomas may not be as good as Mayfield at keeping the pass alive. Baker really did well escaping several times Saturday!
Brings to mind fran Tarkington, Sonny Sixkiller, and Doug Flutie….all three guys were short, had the ability to keep plays alive and get something positive from broken plays, and were just good football players…….
He’s listed as 6’2″. Flutie is 5’10” (Please note legal clarification; replying to you is no indicator I accept you as a fan on this board, nor should it be construed as constituting you worthy of any other replies in the future.) In summary-6 foot 2 is not “short”- which invalidates your entire premise. Return to your bridge,Troll!
POST OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYBODY, LOOK: IT’S THE POST OF THE DAY!!!!!
READ ALL ABOUT!!!!!
Man he was dead in the water several times. Fully grabbed by dudes twice his size and he somehow squirmed out. Trevor’s faster but he would’ve been sacked 7-10 times last week. Baker has that WILL to stay on his feet. Some guys just go down too easily.
Stoops says it’s good for the state when OU & Tulsa play one another, just as he’s done every other year the two teams have met.
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/643475917180768256
I was at Skelly years ago when okie st. came to Tulsa and got their butts whipped, I think they’ve been scared to play them much since.
I was at that game too. Wasn’t it something like 28-0 or 35-0 to start the game?
Can’t remember the scores, I just remember being there as an OU fan supporting Tulsa and the girl I took to the game was a big okie fan. Needless to say, we didn’t speak much on the way home. Lol.
I came from a softball tournament at Bishop Kelly… Coach Ray was PISSED when I loaded up my stuff & left with my dad. Lol. Great memory! OSU got their asses mauled… Also saw Tulsa beat A&M at tulsa… Left an OU game with some peeps you’d know & drove straight there to see the 4th qrtr
Not good for fans. I don’t want to see another OU-Tulsa game.
They look better this yr. Air raid style and they can run and pass. It’s going to be a test for the D. The head coach is Baylors old coordinator.
Stoops re: Jeffrey Mead not playing vs. Tenn – “Just didn’t work out, personnel issues.”
https://twitter.com/OU_Football/status/643477094714896384
this sounds like it’s directly from the Coach Speak Handbook to me.

This is great.
“…without being annoying about it.” I LIKE that quote from Bob. To me that is also Perine all day long.

Better jump on that job offer Cush! Man that looks totally legit. 🙂
And now we’re asking Bob about Kentucky, and his brother, beating South Carolina, and Bob’s mentor. Local media is officially out of ideas.
They need a sign in the press room that says “Journal like a Champion”. Maybe that will help.
LOL! Love this idea!
“Bob, Bob, it’s been reported your wife makes a mean Apple Crisp, care to comment?”
-Local Media
and on cue, that’s a wrap for today.
GREAT job again today, Jordan. Thanks!
I thought the Monday press conference would’ve been great after a double OT game. Oh well, can’t complain too much after how amazing the W was haha.
You have to consider who’s asking questions.
True. Not even a post-regulation thriller can perk up their material!
This is probably going to seem a bit off topic, but hear me out.
After watching the game again for like the 8th time and seeing the press conference interviews, etc. I have realized this team is truly ONE. They never quit, I see the defense patting the offense on the helmets when they come off even after a 3 and out. And the offense did the same. Only at one point did I really see anyone seem even a little down. That is rare. I think with the new coaches and some new blood on the team, they finally have a whole team chemistry. It is amazing how much that will do for you. From personal experience I can tell you that if this team has it as much as I have seen so far….this could be one special season.
When I was a junior in high school, one of my teammates passed away right before our first playoff game. We played Glenpool who had already throttled us earlier in the year, but we promised his mom we would win the game for him. And we fought hard and we were down and we came back and tied the game up. Took it all the way to triple overtime. A team I just viewed as a team was suddenly family, we rushed the field, we cried, we hugged, I mean it was emotional. Obviously this OU team doesn’t have anything tragic this season but I think the new assistants have galvanized them. If this team ever quits in a game, I will be shocked. They may lose, but I think they are going to fight until the bitter end regardless of what the scoreboard says.
I could NOT agree more. Last year it was clear that the D got despondent when the offense turned the ball over and got repeated 3 and outs. Very different this year.
In the picture with the players rushing the field, two I noticed were Trevor and Steed, and they didn’t even play.
Steed?
Backup punter, Jack Steed #38.
Oh yeah. Couldn’t think of who it was for the life of me. Thanks.
They’ve shown Trevor a lot on the sideline (especially the 3rd qtr haha) and he looks very into the game and he’s intensely talking to a quality control guy about what’s going on on the field. Making a bunch of gestures about what the defensive backs are doing. Bet also talking to baker on the sideline about what he’s seeing out there.
I’ve seen every position group talking to each other trying to figure out how they’re being played and seemingly brainstorming for adjustments and not just standing around. I like it.
Baylor and TCU won’t get any sleep the night before OU plays them. They know now that, even if they get up on OU by a couple scores, the good guys will keep sprinting back on the field and punching them in the mouth.
Yes, but if Baylor gets up like that, they’re not gonna go conservative and just let us stay in within reach easily. We have to get going earlier and stop killing our own drives. It’s at a rediculous level. It’s #1 on the list. We do that and we’ll be pretty damn good.
Would be nice if the offense could come out this week and have a solid, fundamentally sound game. They’re already confident but confidence in the discipline aspect of it.
Tripple overtime….did you win? You rushed the field so I’m thinking you did. Still sounds like one hell of a battle either way.
And that’s all us fans can ask for. Can rest easy at night if we compete like this and lose. Baker was still upbeat and unfazed after the 2nd pick. And it’s not a “I don’t care” kind of deal. He’s focused, but really loose at the same time….and I think it rubs off on the entire team. Our teams haven’t always had the best body language over the years when hit with adversity. It was a pile up of self-destructs and they just kept trucking along and mentally stayed with it. Riley has some of that renegade pirate in him from his Mike Leach days lol. Seems like he’s fun to play for
Big 12 teams will go for the jugular if they get us on the ropes like the vols did so more tests in store for the D. They do really seem on the same page though and know where the hell they’re supposed to be. Very assignment sound through 2 games and making O’s earn every inch.
I’m actually encouraged that we didn’t come out the gate clicking on all cylinders. Keeps the mindset on improvement. Improve now…hopefully peak late! Bakers gonna have to run around a lot this yr but if they can clean up the stupid penalties and bad drops, It feels like we’ll score 35-50 a game. Just have to put multiple plays and sets of downs together. We’re probably averaging 3rd and 10 right now…..which is asking too much for any offense to convert on a consistant basis. Would be nice to get Frison back in the OL rotation.
I don’t think they won or he would have said. I think it was a celebration of how hard they fought against a superior foe.
Yeah we won. Held them on 4th down. Still, years later, one of the greatest things I have ever been apart of.
And I fully second everything you said in the rest of your post….can I upvote it twice? lol
Did I miss any discipline for Byrd or anyone else? I expect Byrd to miss at least the first half this week.
Posted below, will be handled internally.
That could be BAD. Stadium steps for DAYS kind of thing. I have personal experience with such things.
I doubt it’s anything to bad. Byrd flipping the bird might get a little more but they had been hearing worse from UT fans all game long.
Hey- you try running those steps for an hour after every practice! That’s BAD! LOL
I remember having to run steps for basketball. If we got cussing, which I did in a game. We had 10 minutes to make 20 laps, and if we did not make it we had to try again. That was the hardest 10 minutes of my life.
Agree. Steps to make the point to them and the team, maybe one series against Tulsa just to show others there was punishment.
Look at the picture b4 it happened….multiple tenn giving the bird to them in the end zone. Does t make it right, but it was not unprovoked either
I wouldn’t do any physical punishment or not much…better to keep them fresh…I don’t see anything for Strike and maybe Haughton or McKinney will start the Tulsa game and play the first quarter or something like that in place of Byrd…keep em fresh
sounds like both will miss some on – the-field time against Tulsa…….
It looks worse in writing than how it was actually said.
https://twitter.com/EricBaileyTW/status/643472602170679296
Per Jordan’s post.
I saw Striker yelling at the crowd and stuff but did he do anything else and what did Byrd do?
There is video of Striker cussing at UT fans. I haven’t seen it, every URL I’ve clicked on has been a pic not a video.
He was dropping a lot of F-bombs to the fans in the end zone. I think Stoops would prefer that not happen
IMO, it’s ok to trash talk the fans, but don’t drop the F bomb or give the finger. Just MO though.
Totally agree. But I can also understand it happening, after having 100K fans screaming foul stuff at them all game. BS will handle it appropriately, which will be just enough to make his point.
It’s probably very common across the country but cameras were paying extra attention to Striker because of what he said before the game….Bob didn’t sound like he was gonna do more than tell them to watch what they do, hence his statement “it’s a learning institution”. Sounded like he was just saying what he needed to say to appease anybody that’s upset about it because he can’t just come right out and say he doesn’t care.
Yes. But young men in previous generations were given three days to rape, sack and burn the conquered city. So, a few F-bombs seems forgiveable.
I understand emotion but got to keep your head! Tennessee is not known as a crowd that talks a bunch of trash or is Ornery (Philadelphia and Oakland in the Pros come to mind). Great win but need to keep our cool!
Video of Byrd flipping the bird
Byrd gave them the bird.
He was probably just saying “We are #1” in a unorthodox manor! LOL!
I would love it if a Brainiac could answer one of my more technical XO questions I’ve probably ever conceived: In the first quarter, Tenn would run a zone read where they would leave Dimon completely unblocked. He would stay at home and try and read the hand-off and i think 2-3 times he would actually make the tackle, but always downfield after a decent gain.
Why doesn’t Dimon fire up the field and disrupt the hand-off before it’s made? If he closes that space between him and the QB/RB, I think the chances of him making a tackle increase and it will be for a loss instead of 5-9 yards down the field.
On the zone read, the DE either closes on the RB or lays off to take the QB. Dimon wasn’t doing either, that’s why he was making the tackle down field.
Walker did much better when he was at that position.
That seems like such a basic play for a lineman to make. What gives with Dimon?
I wonder if he was coached to keep everything in front of him.
Just comes down to instincts vs assignment football. Some players go off of instincts and play high risk high reward. They’ll still get talked to about not doing what they are supposed to do in the scheme, but it’s as bad if they make a great play behind the line.
The only thing I wanted from Dimon was to punish whoever crossed his face, regardless of if the player was with or without the ball.
I’d have to go back and look at the play, but here are two read concepts that may help:
The inverted veer/dash read http://smartfootball.com/run-game/what-is-the-inverted-veer-dash-read
Oregon’s zone read http://smartfootball.com/run-game/oregons-zone-read-of-the-defensive-tackle

I couldn’t resist it: the whole Byrd and Striker thing had me interested in how this would be reported by Mr. Trammel. Well, here’s the link, with the caption “Stoops will discipline Hatari Byrd and Eric Striker.” For the record, Stoops never said he would discipline them. He said it would be handled internally.
http://newsok.com/stoops-will-discipline-hatari-byrd-and-eric-striker/article/5446770
That’s such a ridiculous deal. Adult fans talk so much smack and nothing happens (I’m sure ours are included there), but if a 18-22yo player says anything it’s a huge deal. Nothing to see here IMO.
Totally agree. This is just media looking for a hot story to keep the Striker/sec thing going on imo. This stuff is very common/normal stuff. I’ve seen that kind of stuff a lot. These guys are called the N-word and everything else and Bob knows it.
Product of the politically correct, sensitive, pussification age.
Agree with that first part. Being well-bred & well-behaved has nothing to do with “pussification” (why do some people insist on making genital comparisons? *sheesh*). I do have to say though, that an acceptance of a football scholarship at our University is acceptance that you are one of the faces of Oklahoma Football. Even though young, these young men have to keep in mind that any negative behavior on their part reflects badly not only on them, but the Program and, by extension, the Sooner Nation.
Always tried to teach kiddos that sometimes the best action to counter such ill-bred behavior is by rising above, keeping your bearing and behaving well. That makes the other person look so horrid by comparison. Of course, I also taught my boys if someone punches you first, knock ’em down and walk away. If they follow and hit you again, punch ’em harder and walk away. If it happens again, knock them stonecold out. When they wake up, they’ll likely leave you alone.
I’m a contradictory, contrary gal.
Just a pretty common figure of speech. So much so that I dont have this mental image or thought of actual genitalia when I say it. Same thing if I say somebody’s being a dick. I don’t have this picture of a penis in my head. I’m thinking an asshole….oops another body part LOL. Ok…mean person! Same thing though. I don’t think I’ve ever even thought of it that way until you pointed it out. And I’m 31. Maybe the first person that dubbed the term had sexist thoughts on their mind (you’re calling somebody a girl basically) but I think the people down the tree who picked it up from people around them really don’t think of it like that. Maybe pussification sticks out that way because you’re female? I don’t know though because dick should stick out to me.
I understand what you’re saying about representing a university the right way. It’s tough because what they did wasnt great at all, but definitely not the worst thing they could do either. It’s a fine line to walk with a small strip of grey area. I do think people have over reacted to it like its the worst thing ever, when it’s really not. I could understand a small punishment like sprints or missing a quarter….but I could also understand a verbal lesson about being careful out in public. I think it’s more common than people think…they just got caught on tape.
Are your sons big hoss’s? It doesn’t always go down that perfectly like you’re envisioning unless you’re friggin huge and can just throw anybody around at will. I get what you’re saying though and agree with your overall philosophy. I don’t have kids but when I do, I wouldn’t want them to ever pick a fight but if somebody hits them, it’s time to throw down. You walk away after a push down and your own kid might get knocked out from behind.
People are indeed more sensative these days. If this happened 20-30 yrs ago, I don’t think this deal is blown up to nearly this degree. And we’re definitely not talking about possible suspensions. I was a yr old so I didn’t live it, but Boz was loved by for this type of behavior. Outsiders hated him for being a jerk, but that was that. People (even our own fans) would want him booted if he constantly pulled that stuff now, and he probably would be.
I just moved to OKC Friday before the game. I was searching for a sports radio and have found this guy Trammel. That day and the ones since I gather one thing about him. He is playing up the ‘I hate all things OU’ deal for ratings. He’s a punk. But, I’ll be listening unless there is something better?
Perry, I live in Ohio. Someone local market gut be able to help you.
Tramel is on 98.1 the Animal…there is also 107.7 the franchise. Both, in my opinion are redonkulas!
KREF in the morning
Yeah..is that 105.3?
not sure, i listen in Tulsa on am1430
I bet they’re just gonna get told to watch what they do because cameras are all over the place. If cameras didn’t see it, I bet he really wouldn’t care that much. He knows they were being harassed all game and were still fired up. If they lose any PT, it would be like a quarter. That would suprise me a bit though based off the way he sounded. He seemed pissed about Butch but bit his tongue.
Seems like Bobs letting the guys off the leash a little bit and letting them be themselves like Switzer used to. Within reason of course. I have no problem with that! Promotes the team being comfortable in their own skin and having an identity that’s REAL and not acting like a bunch of robotic, Ben Stein’s.
Very good points. He does appear to be losing up with the team. As far as Butch goes, Bob is pissed which is exactly why I don’t think he’ll do a thing to Striker. Byrd might get lucky because Bob wants to be fair with punishment.
That and he knows it was provoked by fans flipping them off and the camera happened to be over there because they were watching striker already. If you punish one, I think you do have to punish both. Probably some “handle it internally bleacher runs” that never really happen… just to appease the whiney babies. Besides, they’re really sore right now. That’s about the last thing they need to be doing right now. Just address the entire team and try and make sure they’re careful about it. Lesson easily learned.
Yep. I don’t think they lose any playing time.
I believe both players have issued public apologies for their actions. Not sure what other repercussions there will be.
Stryker and Byrd should be punished for their bad behavior. They should each be forced to watch 8 more hours of film of TCU/Baylor/OSU and also stay after practice one day a week. The rest of the 2-deep players were complicit by not trying to stop them. So they should stay after practice one day a week until the TCU-Baylor-OSU gauntlet is complete and make Stryker and Byrd tell them what they found on the films they were forced to watch. Maybe that will teach them.
Tenn fans gets it all started. Too bad we reacted to it.
St. John’s has the right idea: beat them in their own house and take away their women.
Any extra time dissecting film would never hurt. That said, in the eyes of myself as a mother of sons, a bit of overkill when it comes to the rest of the players. Personally, I’d have had Byrd on stadium latrine duty for a week or so & have both write their apologies as open letters in a Knoxville newspaper. But then, I’d demand the same of Butch Jones except make it two weeks cleaning the heads and apologize to Striker personally. He’s a grown man (& at least 40),in a public position of authority & leadership even more so than players – and he definitely behaved just as badly. He above players should exemplify rational, polite & socially acceptable behavior.
Finebaum eating crow:
whaaaa
Ha Ha!! I bet he spit on that hat and trashed it after the show! When we beat Bama he went on national television and called himself an idiot! What a tool.
Give a fool a platform to speak won’t keep them from doing foolish things.
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. You know, that old adage of a fool opening his mouth & removing all doubt…?
Yes, Ma’am. I do.
And that fella Finebaum is a fool whether his mouth is flappin’ or not.
He’s made this very personal, for whatever reason. He can’t wait for an SEC team to beat OU.
What an absolute dork. Get that hat off your head biatch. You talk too much.
It just doesn’t look right on him. I don’t like looking at it. It’s like seeing the devil with a halo.
He’s a hack. College footballs Skip Bayless. Pass.
It’s fucking AWESOME! Mr sec has to sport OUr gear haha. Hopefully we can make him do it one more time this yr! We have a lot of work to do.

Hey admin — is there an admin? — why do we keep seeing the stupid google ad among the posts after its been flagged repeatedly? Isn’t that like spam or something?
The ban/block capability for admins on forum-based websites differ. On the websites where I was moderator or admin, we could block/ban certain IP addresses or names. Our great mods and admins may not have that capability on Disqus.
Bummer. That ad is such a pain. Like anyone believes it. Hopefully not anyway.
