Coming off his junior season in which he was named the Big 12 Player of the Year, OU’s Buddy Hield repeats the honor, so to speak, as he was also named the conference’s Preseason Player of the Year in a release from the league Thursday morning.

With Hield back for his senior season and three other returning starters, there are certainly no shortage of expectations for Lon Kruger’s team heading into the 2015-16 season. The Sooners are also expected to have considerably more quality depth than in years past as they prepare for an always tough Big 12 schedule and, hopefully, another NCAA Tournament run.

Go Buddy Love! You deserve it!
Great young man, great representative for the school both on and off the court, hope this is his best year ever.
Final Four is definitely not out of the question for this team. Jordan Woodward looks like he’s bulked up quite a bit as well. That should help him driving to the basket all season.
Man we are gonna miss buddy next season. Will have to savor every moment of this one and hope for a couple championships!
This is just awesome, I am seriously looking forward to attending some Sooner basketball games this season. Isn’t it great being a Sooner!
Final 4 baby
I’m excited for the season and Buddy Love is a big reason why. I’m tired of Kansas always winning ‘King of the hill’. It’s time to push them off the top and then fight for the other championship. It could be a special year!
I’ve following the Basketball Team for about four years now, I really think this year is one of their best shots at a final four appearance. Buddy, Cousins, Spangler, lets do it!
