– Silent Commit? | Samuel Barnes: 2017 DB and recent OU offer, Samuel Barnes (Richmond, TX) was expected to officially visit Oklahoma this upcoming weekend.
I asked Barnes if he still planned on visiting Oklahoma this weekend. He said, “No, they (OU) had a DB commit yesterday so the coach told me (are) full now”.
Speculate away… – (Super K)

Bob Stoops will do an in-home visit with Wilson next week. Even Jim Ross weighed in on Wilson’s impressive frame and size…
An impressive young man.
Looks like he could headline Wrestlemania!! https://t.co/WrGw2sSigl— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) January 18, 2017

– Parrish Cobb: In case you missed it, the University of Oklahoma has indefinitely suspended Parrish Cobb as a result of an arrest warrant that was issued on Tuesday on a charge of aggravated robbery. The suspension is pending the outcome of the allegation. The Waco Tribune has a full report on the charge and the related incident.
– Tyreece Lott: 2017 TCU DE/DT commit, Tyreece Lott (Ardmore, OK) confirmed yesterday that he will officially visit Oklahoma this weekend. Prior to the dead period he said that his TCU commitment was final and he would not be taking a trip to Oklahoma but it appears he has changed his mind. – (Brandon)
– Charleston Rambo: OU WR commit, Charleston Rambo confirmed that he will take an official visit to Florida next weekend. I do not believe this is anything to be concerned about. Even our sources on the Florida side don’t seem remotely optimistic. – (Brandon)
– James Robinson: Last night Bob Stoops did an in-home visit 2017 (Lakeland) FL WR, James Robinson. It’s been the thought that Florida is his leader but in speaking to sources there is now a growing feeling that OU, Clemson and Florida are neck and neck in the charge for Robinson.
I have been told by a source close to Robinson that his family has given him their blessing to go out of state which is something that, for a while, seemed to be a hold up for the Sooners. – (Brandon)
