Josh Proctor: As we mentioned last week, after the Ohio State game, Josh Proctor still wasn’t communicating with the Sooners. It started to look pretty bleak.

However, I’ve got some good news. Late last week I communicated with the father of 2018 DB Josh Proctor. I asked him if they planned on visiting OU at any point during the season and he said, “I’m sure we will”.

I checked in with a source on the OU side and I am told that Josh finally reached out to the staff late last week. I’m told he reached to the OU staff to let them know he would be visiting for a game.

We’ll have more once we lock down which game Proctor will be visiting for. Sooners appear to still be in this one. – (Super K)

Bobby Brown: Will have a full note on Brown later this week but I spoke with the mother of 2018 DL, Bobby Brown earlier this evening. As you know, Brown visited Oklahoma this past weekend.

Brown’s mother spoke glowingly of the trip but there was something that really stood out to me that I wanted to share right away. When the OU staff asked Brown and his mother to take a official visit this past weekend, his mother agreed on the condition that they would be able to attend church. She told me they attend church every week.

So instead of the Browns having to leave the official visit early in order to make it home for their service, they attended church with coach Thibs who is also a regular church service attendee.

Again, will have more from my conversation with Brown’s mother later… – (Brandon)

Starrland Baldwin:

A bit of unfortunate news here from Sooners DB commit, Starrland Baldwin…

I checked on the nature of the injury and was told, “Injured his knee on offense in the first quarter. ACL torn”. Praying for his speedy and complete recovery. – (Super K)

DaShaun White: Last night I spoke with a source close to DaShaun White. A couple notes of interest.

*Coach Kish and coach Riley spoke with DaShaun yesterday evening and their message to White was essentially, we like you…we want you to be a Sooner and while we respect the fact that you’re committed elsewhere, we aren’t going to let up.

I’m not expecting DaShaun to do anything right away but according to the source, the Sooners are making it harder and harder on TAMU. TAMU staff is becoming paranoid.

*Source also told me an interesting story that I’ll have to ask DaShaun about. Source said that while on their trip to OU this past weekend when DaShaun and his mother were on the shuttle bus from the parking lot to the stadium  someone recognized DaShaun and started a “DaShaun White” chant.

As you can imagine, that did not suck. – (Super K)
