Taquon holds a number of offers including one from Oklahoma. However, he was expected to commit to Texas this upcoming weekend with TCU, Baylor and Texas A&M being the other primary schools he was considering.
I chatted briefly with Taquon last night and it sounds like the hold up on his decision is in part due to the fact that he wants to visit Oklahoma. Graham said he will “definitely” visit Norman “some time this summer”.
So you can add Graham to the long list of elite defensive linemen that are expected to visit OU this summer.
I spoke to someone close to Graham and it still sounds like he is expected to end up at Texas but obviously a visit can change things. Graham’s mother, not surprisingly, will be a major factor in his decision and I’m told she will accompany him on his trip to Norman. – (Super K)
– Myles Sims: 2018 DB, Myles Sims out of Atlanta, Georgia is reporting an OU offer. Yet another indication that the Sooners are very serious about making in-roads into the Georgia market.

Sure. But I am now thinking that they’ll replace the little bear with their very own “Cosby.” He can sit on the sidelines as a representative of the Baylor spirit.

I’m still waiting for the shoe to drop on the other BU scandal. I wonder when they are going to get caught for their cheating in multiple sports, especially football.
There is NO WAY a bad football program and a basketball program that was buried after the Dave Bliss scandal suddenly pops up on the radar unless there is impropriety. I don’t buy that it is legit. If they are willing to cover up sexual assault scandals–from the coach to the Title IX director to the college President who was the special investigator assigned to Bill Clinton’s sexual proclivities while holding office–then I have to believe they are funneling improper benefits (i.e , money to players) as well. This is just like Ole Miss’ sudden recruiting prowess…we now know as we always suspected, that prowess was cash.
For all the talk of “parity” in college football, the traditional powers are still the powers that find themselves atop the rankings and winning NCs. OU had its down period in the 90s, so did Bama and LSU. Notre Dame dropped off in the early 2000s. They rose again. Now, Nebraska, Miami, and–to a lesser extent–USC are down. All of them will be back. BU is not a traditional power. They have no history to rebuild on.
There is something fishy going on across multiple sports at Baylor. I’m going to laugh when it comes to a head.

K I would love your opinion on Sims. I know that the tape is only his sophomore year but man it didn’t rally stand out to me at all. He is definitely not afraid of contact, and seems to tackle well, but hips didn’t seem really smooth?

I attended Temple High School and it is very hard not to go to either Texas or Baylor. Baylor is only about 30 miles away and Austin about 60. Plus they are the area schools most root for. I was a transplant from Oklahoma so I was not swayed by the masses, but two of my five brothers were…we don’t talk about them much….lol
Had heard Graham was leaning heavily toward the whorns so never really counted on him. Still not, but good all the same. Will be happy if OU gets a commit from Isaiah on the 28th.
