– Corey Bethley: The Sooners received some good news this morning. 2017 DT, Corey Bethley has included Oklahoma in his top 3. Noticeably absent is Texas. This is significant as I was recently told that his expected top 3 would be TCU, TAMU and Texas and that he preferred to stay in state.
Very blessed for the opportunity every school has given me to live out my dream but it's coming to a close! pic.twitter.com/a4uFiBExcs

I am told that coach Thibs will be in Houston today visiting Bethley. Bethley is scheduled to visit TCU this upcoming weekend followed by TAMU on the 20th. One would assume the Sooners will get the final visit but I hope to confirm that later today after the Sooners have met with him. – (Super K)
– Tre Norwood: The Sooners continue to search for a final defensive back to fill their 2017 secondary class. A name to watch is 2017 Louisville CB commit, Tre Norwood (Ft. Smith, AR). Norwood is a fast, smooth CB who has played alongside talented guys like Kiondre Thomas (now at Minnesota) and Biyron McGrew.
He played a lot of QB this year but if you move ahead to around 3:20 you can view some of his defensive back highlights and really see what kind of range he has in zone and his ability to stick in man. – (Super K)
