– Micah Parsons: So, ever since we noted Micah Parsons is visiting I’m sure most of you want to know if this is just a visit or if he’s seriously considering the Sooners. Right now, I’m told, he’s likely headed to Penn State. Is it likely he ends up at OU? No. But he picked OU to visit for a reason. Sooners have been recruiting him pretty hard and…
Here’s what’s interesting. Parsons tells me that he wants to play both ways. In high school he plays DE and running back (a good one). In college he wants to play DE and get some snaps on the offensive side of the ball as well. Parson’s says OU has told him they will let him play both. Something to watch as well. – (Super K)
– Jonathan Perkins: Late last week I was texting with the newly offered 2019 LB, Jonathan Perkins (San Bernadino, CA). As I previously noted, he’s teammates with Jeremiah Martin, the 2018 DE visiting OU next weekend.
Apparently Perkins has been to the state of Oklahoma on numerous occasions. He told me that even though he was born in California, his family is originally from Tulsa and he still has a lot of family there and frequently visits. He said he will absolutely visit OU.
Once again in this 2019 class, the Sooners have another prospect with a strong connection to the state. – (Super K)
– Ronnie Perkins: We’ve reported it all along but Perkins finally announces he will indeed take a visit to Norman next weekend. The edit by the Sooners staff is unreal!
