Raymond Scott: This past Saturday night we informed you that 2018 Harbor City, CA (Narbonne HS) linebacker took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma this past weekend. Scott is relatively quiet and the only real sign he was on campus was a picture that was tweeted of him of him and former Sooners linebacker Eric Striker, that was tweeted by his high school football twitter account.

TFB  spoke to several sources close to the situation and, from what we gather, everything went as well as it possibly could. One source told TFB, “ The visit went great. OU came away feeling like they have a real shot here.”

Scott is currently committed to USC but when a prospect makes the trek halfway across the country on his own dime that is typically a sign of real interest.

This one was somewhat of a surprise, but Scott and the Sooners look like a real thing. TFB will continue to search around to see what more we can find out here. – (Brandon)

Dillon Faamatau: From one USC commit to another. TFB updated you all on the ongoings of Faamatau’s visit late Saturday night. Afterwards, I spoke to a couple of more sources. TFB was told that the OU staff expects to know Faamatau’s final decision within the next week or two. Faamatau, from all accounts, couldn’t have had a better visit and with the academic and transfer situation Faamatau looks to be headed to Norman in the near future.

All that said, it isn’t done until he signs his NLI and arrives in Norman, but the 2017 just might be adding another defensive lineman here in the near future.

Note: Faamatau is May grad and would go towards 2017 making him eligible for the 2017 season. – (Brandon)

Miles Emery: Miles Emery has confirmed to me that his final decision has come down to OU and Kansas. I haven’t been able to get him to tip me off either way.

We are reaching out to sources on the Kansas side to see how they feel as his decision rapidly approaches. This situation reminds me a bit of the Amani Bledsoe recruitment when Sooners DL coach was at Kansas. The Sooners were able to pull Bledsoe away from his home state. – (Super K)
