Looks like Coach Stoops has decided to spice up the uniforms a little. Hard to think these subtle changes would upset the traditionalists. And any little change is probably a welcomed one by the crowd advocating some updates. Looks like a wise move.  I’m probably more of a traditionalist and I like the subtle accents. According to Gabe Ikard the uniforms were all the players could talk about today. Sounds like they were a big hit. Coach Stoops continues to show his willingness to change but I respect his clear deliberation in what he does. Its easy to get swept up in a desire for quick changes but stability is an important feature of great programs. Stagnation is the side effect but it feels like Coach Stoops is finding a nice balance in all that he’s doing.
