Former NFL Pro Scout Will be Taking our Blind Tape Test

Last week we had former OU and NFL RB, Mossis Madu, take our “blind tape test” comparing Joe Mixon, Michael Warren and Nathan Starks. For those of you who didn’t see that post here it is: https://thefootballbrainiacs.com/?p=1773
We’ve got some exciting news for y’all and for us (because we love this feature as much as y’all do). Chris Trulove has agreed to take our blind tape test.
Chris was with the Denver Broncos organization for 16 years. During that time the Broncos won 2 super bowl rings (98 and 99). He spent a number of years with Denver as a pro scout. And he spent his final three years as the coordinator/director of pro scouting for the Broncos.
And fun fact about Chris – his first ever scouting report was for Terrell Davis out of the University of Georgia

I’m just as stoked about it as you guys. Chris and I go way back, and when we started this thing up, I had him in the back of my mind. I’m excited not only for being able to work with one of my best friends, but also the credibility Chris has. Dude was part of bringing Terrell Davis to Denver for God’s sake!

This is cool and all, but can’t you guys put together a piece on OUs minor recruiting violations or how we are inferior to other schools in different ways? Those are the things that we want as fans…
That would be petty…lol
Come on JY, just feed our need to be vindicated for all of our incessant whining as a fan base! We suck. We can’t recruit. We have crappy facilities and we need a new head coach! I just want to sit on my high horse and look down upon anyone who thinks OU is a decent football school!

Lol. Odd thing is OU is one of the cleanest schools in the country. Compliance is incredible at OU. Definitely some other schools where it’s not so much.
I35, Norman! Ring a bell? There isn’t a school in the NCAA that is clean.
Are you talking about the incident that when it was found out by the university resulted in Stoops kicking off the starting quarterback and one of the top returning linemen weeks before the season started? Wasn’t that the same season that Ohio State let their quarterback take money from a booster, sit out a few games, become an all-american, and later win the heisman?
No program is clean, but what are the schools doing to keep it clean?

This is a spectacular idea! I just went and read the one Mossis Madu did and it’s awesome. Chris Truelove will provide some very good insight. The more time I spend here the more I like this site.
