The Sooners came in at #2 in the final, and only meaningful, release of the rankings. Oklahoma will head to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl. They will be the home team, wearing crimson jerseys, facing Georgia. Georgia is one of the few teams that Oklahoma has never played. On paper, the Sooners match up well against the Bulldogs. This will be the 2nd Sooners appearance in both the College Football Playoff and in the Rose Bowl.
Clemson ended up at #1 and the final CFP spot went to Alabama at #4. They will play in the Sugar Bowl.
OU was in a great place today – not having to worry about the release.
What do you all think about the rankings?
