UPDATED at 6:59 pm: Du’Vonte Lampkin has committed to the University of Oklahoma
UPDATED: We have confirmed that a commitment is imminent. Could happen as early as today. We have confirmed that it has not happened yet but is expected.
We are hearing that he may possibly commit soon but have not confirmed a commitment yet.

Saw that he committed just a little bit ago. Hearing he may have trouble qualifying. Hope that’s not the case.
He has not committed yet. And he has plenty of time to qualify but we generally tried to avoid commenting on a kids grades 🙂

If all these guys commit and stay committed, having a class with DTs Lampkin and Overton, as well as OL Barnett, Evans, and Wariboko, would have to give OU one of it’s best classes on the lines in a long time.
Barnett, Evans and Wariboko are nice. Love Overton. Would need to see a lot more from Lampkin before I sung his praises. Big frame though.
How committed is Wariboko? Just saw he visited OSU for the Baylor game.
Last we heard he is very committed to OU. Not one to worry about. At least not at the moment.
