Boom News! | Transfer EDGE Dasan McCullough Commits to Oklahoma!

The Sooners picked up a huge addition to their program as Indiana freshman EDGE Dasn McCullough has announced his intentions to transfer to Oklahoma and join Brent Venables’ squad.

McCullough, who was committed to Ohio State prior to following his father Deland (who took a job at Indiana) to Indiana, had a very good freshman season for the Hoosiers.

Dasan appeared in 10 games, four of which he started, and he totaled 48 tackles with 4 sacks.

The 6’5 230 pound athlete is very talented. He has great size, length and speed and we expect him to get a long look at the Sooners Cheetah position which was manned by the departing DaShaun White throughout the ’22 season.

Oklahoma wasted little time in in identifying Dasan as a priority and then turned up the heat in this recruitment as soon as McCullough hit the portal. He visited this weekend along with his brother Daeh who is a ’23 DB target for OU.

The addition of McCullough is absolutely a blue-chip addition from the portal and the Sooners did a good job locking him up!
