The Sooners picked up a massive commitment today as elite ’25 Offensive Tackle Michael Fasusi (6’5 295) out of Lewisville, Texas has announced his verbal pledge to Bill Bedenbaugh and Oklahoma!
Fasusi holds offers from every notable program in the country and he was one of the most coveted players this cycle.
Oklahoma beat Texas head-to-head on this one and they were able to hold off a late push from NIL giant, Texas A&M to land Fasusi’s pledge.
The addition of Fasusi puts Sooners coach Bill Bedenbaugh in the conversation for landing the top offensive line class in the country. Having two truly special talents in Ryan Fodje and Michael Fasusi as bookend tackles, both clearly 5* prospects in my opinion, will help to set the foundation for the offensive line room for years to come.
Fasusi is the 23rd commit in the class for Oklahoma and he joins Fodje, Owen Hollenbeck and Darius Afalava in the offensive line room. Each of the offensive line commits are absolutely plan ‘A’ guys and this is a pretty filthy haul for Oklahoma.
We will talk more about Fasusi and what it means for Oklahoma in the coming days, but this was without a doubt a massive win for the Sooners on the recruiting trail.
