Boom News! | ’27 WR Tra’Von Hall Commits to Oklahoma!

The Sooners stay smokin hot on the recruiting trail as ’27 WR Tra’Von Hall, out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, has announced his pledge to the University of Oklahoma!

Hall, a 6-foot, 180-pound athlete from Central High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is quickly emerging as one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the class of 2027. Hall has shown versatility on the field, lining up not only as a receiver but also seeing time as a running back, showcasing his multi-dimensional skill set.

Through his junior season, Hall has totaled 874 yards from scrimmage, including 355 receiving yards, and has consistently produced big plays, averaging over 30 yards per reception in 2024. His speed, athleticism, and ability to stretch the field have caught the attention of multiple FBS programs, earning offers from Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and others.

While Hall’s national ranking remains under the radar, his combination of size, versatility, and big-play potential make him a promising recruit. If he continues to refine his route-running and focuses on developing as a wide receiver, Hall has the tools to become a deep-threat weapon or a versatile offensive contributor at the collegiate level.

OU continues to pick up their priority targets in the 2027 class as they now have nine commits in the cycle.
