Boom News! | ’26 OL Noah Best Commits to Oklahoma!

The Sooners add a priority target to their offensive line class as ‘26 OL Noah Best (6’3 290) out of Midlothian, Texas, has announced his commitment to Bill Bedenbaugh and the Oklahoma Sooners!

The Sooners offered Best back on June 6th, 2024 and he chose OU over dozens of offers, including Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Auburn, SMU and LSU among many others.

Best primarily projects as an interior offensive lineman (IOL), likely at guard, though he has experience playing offensive tackle in high school.

He is frequently described as a “road grader” (which Bedenbaugh loves) with a powerful, physical presence at the point of attack. He imposes his will on defenders, showcasing a mean streak that makes him a dominant force.

Combining his road grader mentality with his athleticism allows him to excel in the run game, particularly in pulling across the formation and climbing to the second level. He moves well in space and can seal blocks effectively

He is solid in pass pro and Best displays strong footwork, preventing defenders from beating him around the edge. Once he engages with his hands, rushers struggle to disengage due to his strength

While he is projected as a guard at the collegiate level, his experience at tackle provides positional flexibility, making him a valuable asset for OU and Bedenbaugh.

Another plan ‘A’ guy in the bag for OU and Bedenbaugh.
