The Sooners added a huge piece to their already impressive class of 2023 as in-state tight end Luke Hasz (6’3 220) out of Bixby, OK has announced his verbal commitment to Oklahoma!
Hasz was a priority target for Joe Jon Finley and Lincoln Riley. He picked up his offer from OU on January 18th…one day before Joe Jon Finley was formally announced as the Associate Head Coach for Offense / Tight Ends & H-Back following Shane Beamers departure.
This is a big time get for OU as Hasz joins QB Malachi Nelson and RB Treyaun Webb in the class which will serve as an incredible foundation for ’23.
Hasz is listed as 6’3 220 and he helped lead his Bixby team to the state championship while playing on both sides of the ball. He is a gifted athlete with good size, great length, and ample speed for his physique.
The Sooners have a done a fantastic job in this recruitment as they have been able to get Hasz and his family on campus frequently and the addition of another high profile instate kid will likely carry some weight with others.
