The Sooners have picked up a big commitment as ’23 linebacker Samuel Omosigho (6’1 208) out of Crandall, TX has announced his pledge to Brent Venables and Oklahoma!
Omosigho was initially offered by the former staff in Norman but he quickly became a priority for Brent Venables and Ted Rood once they took over in Norman.
Oklahoma took on Florida head to head in this recruitment and came out on the winning side as they land one of their priority targets at linebacker in the class.
He holds more than two dozen offers from the likes of Michigan, USC, Auburn, Stanford and Ole Miss.
Omosigho is a twitchy athlete who is active in Track and Basketball as well as being a standout on the football field.
He becomes the 9th member of the class as he joins Kaleb Spencer and Eric McCarty on the defensive side.
