The Sooners continue to stay hot on the trail as ’23 EDGE PJ Adebawore (6’4 240) out of Kansas City, MO. has announced his pledge to Brent Venables and Oklahoma!
Adebawore holds close to two dozen offers and he chose the Sooners over the likes of Georgia, LSU, Northwestern, Missouri, Oregon and USC.
This is a big win on the trail for Oklahoma OLB/DE coach Miguel Chavis who is in his first year as an on field coach.
Chavis targeted Adebawore early on as he was offered in February and he sealed the deal with Adebawore following his official visit to Norman for the ChampUBBQ in early June.
Adebawore brings a special physical skill set to the OU defense. He is really long (7+ foot wingspan) and super twitchy and when I watch his film, the first name that jumps out at me is Javon Kearse (The Freak) from back in the day.
