The Sooners add another piece to their ’22 class as safety Jamarrien Burt commitsand signs to Oklahoma!
Burt had told me he was going to announce on Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday!
Turns out that Wednesday won the day!
As we mentioned previously, Burt (6’1 175) out of Ocala, FL, told OU he wanted to commit to them during his official visit. However, he also said he was looking to visit Missouri the following week and Coach Venables basically told him to hold that thought and if he wanted to commit, they would rather he not visit Missouri.
As we reported, Burt did not make the trip to Missouri and that was when the Antonio Banderas GI appeared HERE.
Burt is a big hitter and has very good speed. I really like this addition to the class and I, personally, feel he was very underrated.
