Boom News! | ’22 QB Nick Evers Commits to Oklahoma!

The Sooners picked up the first commitment of the Brent Venables era as ’22 QB Nick Evers (6’3 188) out of Flower Mound, TX announced his pledge to OU this morning.
Evers was in Norman this weekend, and obviously, things went exceedingly well as the former longtime Florida Gators commit decided to pull the trigger for OU.
The Sooners wasted no time in pursuing Evers once they named Jeff Lebby as the offensive coordinator. Lebby was cleared by the NCAA to begin recruiting for OU just minutes before he went in-home with Evers and offered him last week.
Reall nice pick up for OU to start off what should be a pretty busy week on the recruiting trail!
