Coach Bill Bedenbaugh continues to roll as he helps the Sooners land 2019 4-star offensive tackle, Stacey Wilkins (Camden, AR). Wilkins selected the Sooners over his in-state school, Arkansas along with Texas and SEC powerhouses Alabama and Georgia among others.

It’s always tough to pull a top kid out of Arkansas, but it appears OU made Stacey feel at home, “It was different. I took my other visits and OU was different. Even though I’m not from Norman I felt like it was home. The coaches and everyone there, it was like being around family. Yeah, OU is different”.
At a true 6’6 280 lbs, Wilkins tied for the fastest SPARQ verified 40 times among offensive tackles in the country, running nearly a 5.00 flat. Oklahoma is getting a true athlete on the edge to contend with the type of defensive ends Oklahoma will face in, what we believe will be, many playoff appearances.
As if committing to Oklahoma wasn’t enough, Wilkins says he’s already got his eye on a couple of players he plans on recruiting in recent JUCO DE offer, Jacoby Jones and 2019 OT, Danielson Ike (Kansas City, MO).
