BOOM News: 2018 QB Tanner Mordecai Commits to Oklahoma

The Sooners have received a commitment from 2018 QB Tanner Mordecai.

Mordecai was offered in early May by Lincoln Riley.
He has plenty of OU ties. Mordecai is the former teammate of current OU DB Khalil Haughton. Additionally, as TFB reported earlier this week, Mordecai’s QB trainer is Kevin Murray, father of Sooners QB Kyler Murray.
This spring has feature a decommitment of a QB from OU, and several offers handed out. The sense around the program was that they wanted the QB situation set soon, so as to keep pushing the recruiting scene.
OU has themselves a 2018 QB, and a good one at that.
