The Sooners have secured a commitment from 2017 CB, Tre Norwood (Ft. Smith, AR). Norwood was the silent commit we referred to last week.

Norwood was committed to Louisville for quite some time however with the departure of key members of Louisville staff, he opened up his recruitment and the Sooners along with Oklahoma State, Notre Dame and Tennessee entered the picture. Ultimately the Sooners won out.

One word describes Norwood…smooth. He plays football like it’s effortless. He’s patient as a defender and quick once he sees what he wants…kinda like his recruitment process.
