Welcome to the Round 1 results of our “Best Wins of the Bob Stoops Era Tournament.” This tournament started last Friday, with the goal of finding out which wins in the Stoops era were the most beloved by Sooner fans. Each Friday, we will offer up a bracket of the Best Wins of the Bob Stoops Era, with different wins going up against each other. You will all get the opportunity to vote for the wins you think were the best until Sunday afternoon. We’ll post the results each Monday, with an updated Bracket. Round 1 had some great games, with lots of good wins going head-to-head. The Bracket below shows which wins moved onto Round 2.

A few of the matchups stuck out to me. The most lopsided victory was Game 16, OU vs. Bama 2013 against OU vs. FSU 2010, with a 98% to 2% result. The closest matchup was Game 15, OU vs. Texas 2003 against OU vs. OSU 2013, with a 65% to 35% result. There were also a few that I was surprised to see win so comfortably. As we get further into the tournament, I suspect that the games will get closer.
