– Brian Asamoah: In last Wednesday’s Open Post we reported that Sooners LB target, Brian Asamoah tentatively planned on visiting Oklahoma this upcoming weekend for the UTEP game.

Multiple sources have confirmed that Asamoah does indeed intend to visit OU this upcoming weekend.

However, we should note that we have yet been able to confirm the visit with Asamoah directly.

Sources have also indicated that Asamoah will be in attendance along with his parents. Sooners commits Patrick Fields and a host of other OU commits will also be taking unofficial visits to Norman, in part, in hopes to help recruit the talented LB from Ohio.

We are told from sources on the OU side that Asamoah seems be leaning heavily towards OU however it will be a “family decision” so the Sooners will be looking to really impress Asamoah’s parents.

It is unclear at this point whether Asamoah will wait to take an official visit to Pitt as well before he makes a decision. I suspect we will know very soon after his OU OV. – (Brandon)

– Offensive Line Visitors: The Sooners will host Brey Walker for his official visit. Also Sooners commit, Darrell Simpson is expected to be in Norman for the season opener. – (Brandon)
