With the 2017 NFL Draft well underway, we wanted to put up a post for Sooner fans to discuss it. Several Sooners are sure to be drafted, so stay tuned here. We’ll post updates as they arrive, and put together a recap later this weekend after the Draft wraps up.
Friday – 8:45 PM
The first Sooner off the board this weekend was Joe Mixon, going 48th overall to the Bengals. Mixon was projected as high as the first round and as low as not drafted, so second round seems like a fair spot for him. Whichever team got him was guaranteed to get a steal and an incredible talent.

Westbrook, like Mixon, had projections all over the board. His elite speed and excellent hands give him some great NFL potential.
The @Redskins are getting an absolute BEAST in @samajp32 💪💪#RBU #OUDNA

Perine has been viewed as potentially a workload back, one to use on third down only… the NCAA single-game rushing record begs to differ.
Saturday – 3:20 PM
Jordan Evans has joined Joe Mixon in going to the Bengals. The linebacker has picked in the sixth round.
Homegrown to the #NFLDraft. Congratulations @jordanevans_26, the newest member of the @Bengals! #OUDNA
